Home is older but perfect for pets due to the proximity to yard and the lake path for walks.

After a long day at the lake, coming to the cabin was a prefect way to finish our little getaway. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The host was very responsive and quick to our messages. We where able to cook, as they had all of the cookware needed. Laundry room available and a great view of the river. Overall 10 out 10 would book again.

We had a great time in this perfect mountain cabin for the weekend. It was so spacious and perfect for not only the adults but especially for our young kids! The hosts are lovely and had the perfect amount of communication with us.

We loved the location of the property. Easy access to the lake and the home accommodated our family perfectly. The owners were always quick to respond to messages. The kids loved the ping pong table too!

Great house in a great location. The house was clean, organized, and perfect for a weekend at Lake Arrowhead. All appliances worked well despite it having the original cabin in the woods decor. Check in and check out was very easy. Only note is for dogs and children, the yard is not completely fenced in, but there is a small fenced area next to the house.

We had an excellent stay!! We were surprised to see such nice lake views from the family room as that was a nice addition. The ping pong table was tun to play on as well. We will definitely try to book next year!

This property was great and just as described. It was very clean, comfortable and in a great location. We will come back again. I had a couple of questions, and each time the owner was very quick to respond. A great place to stay!!

We had a blast! Check in was easy, the place was great and located really close to the village.

I typically don't write reviews but feel the cost per night we paid for the property warrant comments. The property is certainly mid-century and hasn't been touched since. Although the house was clean it is in need of much needed updates and repairs - water heater leaks, ceilings throughout house have suffered water damage at some point, front porch railing poses a falling hazard should someone lean against. The carpet on the staircase risers is thread barren and the upstairs bath toilet needs a new seat. It would not take much to bring this property back to a true mid-century charmer but needs attention.

This is an older home with older style - a step back in time. But clean, spacious and met our needs perfectly. Location on Highway 173 is good - road is busy, but not unpleasant. Provided just the base we needed for our stay.

This house is loaded with character and charm. Right across the street from the lake and a short walk to Orchard Bay. All be it dated everything was in good working order. The dated aspect is part of the charm. We loved our stay. Very relaxing, fireworks were amazing, it was exactly what we had hoped for. I would highly recommend this rental. The owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to question! Dont miss out on this one!!

There was no key when we arrived. Both lock boxes were open & broken. Finding the parking for the house was difficult & other cars were in the lot. Neighbors dog barked all hours of the night. Street outside was loud as this house is on the main road. Windows are original from when house was built & no upgrades have been done, nothing. . Place would be better if some minor upgrades are done. Couch was so old and impossible to get out of because you could feel the bottom of the couch when sitting in it. Unable to take a shower Because it was either to hot or cold which is dangerous for children. We paid way too much for this place. We will not be returning. One positive is it’s across from the lake & walking distance to the village shops.

The house is located in a great location for both summer and winter. The owner is very friendly and responds to requests right away. Although the house is a bit old and is defiantly showing signs of aging most things still work and are suitable for a small getaway. Having 2 bathrooms and only 1 usable very small shower is a bit of an inconvenience. The bedrooms are very big and spacious.It would be nice to have another TV somewhere on the second floor as well. Kitchen is very dated most appliances still work but need to be updated a little.The driveway needs to be fixed a bit as it scratches underneath your car on the way in and out.

Loved the tranquility, meditation and inspiration that Lake Arrowhead provides and this cabin is perfect if that is your aim! The midcentury charm and connection with nature was perfection!

We had such a wonderful time. It was our family of 5, and another family of 3, we all slept comfortably, the kids loved the extra playroom upstairs! It was super close to water and town. It had an amazing 60’s feel, that made it feel comfortable. Had everything you could need for a great vacation!

This cabin lives up to its vintage listing! It's beautifully decorated and slept 12 of us quite comfortably. Very clean and plenty of amenities. We were all able to gather in the living room where we held a talent show and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc. Easy parking access and easy to find. We walked to the village in 20 minutes. A wonderful place to make lifelong memories. Can't wait to visit again!

OMG this is the most beautiful house that we have stayed. The owner is very nice and she answer all my questions immediately. Of course I'll stay in this house for future vacation, I don't have to think twice. All my family love this house, We are planning to go on the summer as well. Price is affordable.

This is a great cabin for a quick holiday get away! You are walking distance from Lake Arrowhead and only 5 minutes from town with a good selection of shops and restaurants if you choose not to stay in or need anything you forgot to bring. It's an older cabin, but very well maintained. Not much of a yard to play in as the home is on a hill, but there are two concrete pads gated off that were the perfect size for our kids to ride their bikes around. Only reason it does not get 5 stars is because the electrical in the house can be a bit finicky, we were unable to use the electric stove and oven most of the trip, yet it had to be on for the lights to be at their brightest in a few rooms. Don't touch the white fuse plug under the round light dimmer in the living room! Apparently many of the lights and stove/oven are connected to it. All in all we had a great time and would definitely stay again!
