This Maalaea condo was in the perfect location for us and was very clean. The view from the lanai and master bedroom was amazing (full front ocean view). The harbor is right there and a nice sandy beach you can walk to within 10 minutes. The condo was very well stocked with various items we did not need to go out to purchase. The owner, Howard, was excellent about responding immediately to any questions I had. You can walk to a small market with food to purchase and a little bar as well as the aquarium and about 5 other restaurants. Try Tante's for their happy hour food and drinks from 12 to 6 everyday. Their Mai Tais and sandwiches are decent. Thank you for an amazing vacation, Howard! We will return. :)

This location is on the quiet side of Maui (which we liked) and on the 2nd floor of the 4 story building - giving us a beautiful view of the pool, ocean and mountains. The owner provided excellent communication from the moment we booked the reservation until after we left the property. This was our first time in Maui and we decided after exploring that we made a good decision with location. The best thing about this property was the neighbors. The couples that live there all year round were so helpful and welcoming. Several days we just hung out at the pool with them which we thoroughly enjoyed. A nice little surprise was the harbor, stores, restaurants and aquarium that were just a short walk from the location. We were sad to leave the beauty before us but took many pictures to remember this trip!

The condo was clean and quiet. It has such an amazing view. The check in process was really easy and the owner even called to make sure we made it in ok. Can't wait to go back!

PROPERTY: Can’t go wrong with a sunrise ocean view from bed every morning. The condo was stocked with everything we needed for our week-long stay. Aside from everyday essentials the condo had beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, a cooler, pool noodles, sand buckets, everything you could need for beach outings! We enjoyed meeting other tenants as we barbecued out in the yard. The property is in the shade by 5pm so an evening dip in the beautiful pool was enjoyed by all. They light the tiki torches on the weekends which we enjoyed sitting by with a glass of wine and taking in the ocean. The tiki torches were also fun to see from our sunset cruise. LOCATION: Perfectly situated away from tourists and yet close to everything. Walking distance to the Aquarium, Putt Putt Golf, Food Trucks, Carl’s Jr, Boat Excursions, and a public beach park. Short drive south to Kihei and north to Lahaina to play tourist. I would definitely recommend this property and hope it’s available for our next Maui vacation.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this property! Everything was clean and the furnishings were very nice. All communications with the owner were effortless. The views of the water were perfect, and you are a short drive to many day trips. We would absolutely stay here again.

Clean, property very comfortable, lanai was great with a great view. Pool was good for kids. Lawn and chairs next to ocean were nice. Good access to restaurants in Maalaea and activities in Kihei. Property owner and local representative were both friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed the location of the property as it made travel to Kihei or Lahaina-Ka’anapali area easy. The ocean view from the lanai was mesmerizing as we watched the whales. The beds were great and enjoyed the condo-we will be back. Our boys fell in love with Maui and want to go back. Thank you for letting us use your place to vacation.

We typically don't spend much time at our lodging location while vacationing as we want to take in as many of the sights as possible, but this condo was so nice and peaceful that we found ourselves spending quite a bit of time there. Watching the turtles come up for air while enjoying the beautiful ocean view from the lanai was so peaceful and relaxing. Not mention waking up to see the same view from our bed. The grounds were clean, peaceful and friendly. Having a full kitchen to cook in was great! The location was just right for us. It was a quick walk to a couple small stores for the basics and a short drive into Kihei for anything else you may need. I cannot say enough about how helpful the informational cards were that Howard keeps in the condo for guests. From local beaches and restaurants, to flowers and sea life found around the island. A lot of time and thought has been put into those. We also greatly appreciated the the extra beach supplies that were there for our use, such as the beach towels, fins, cooler, etc. Howard made sure we had all the correct information for getting to the condo, easy instructions for getting in, and contact info in case we encountered any issue or just had general questions. I could go on, but I will finish by saying that the place you stay in can make a big difference in the experience you have on vacation and this place helped make our vacation the best vacation we have had in years! I have already recommended it to several family members and friends and would definitely stay here again when visiting Maui. A great big Mahalo from us to Howard!

I don't know where to start. Howard from day one when we made our reservation kept in contact with us. When there was a shortage of rental cars, he contacted us to make sure we had a car rented. We so appreciated that. He made sure we had directions to the Condo. He is a fantastic owner to work with. The Condo. We walked in the door and it was exactly like we were told it would be. Decorated nicely, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms were a nice size with queen sized beds. We couldn't ask for more. The view, omgosh the view from the lanai is breathtaking. The Condo is centrally located, it's perfect. The aquarium is right across the street. Would I recommend this condo, you bet I would 100%. We hope to come back and stay here again.

Very enjoyable

It was our first time ever going to Maui, I asked Howard for information on grocery delivery services since we did not rent a car, Howard provided me the information and so much more. We really loved the property location, waking up to the waves each morning was beautiful. We also loved that we could walk to a beach. We actually saw several sea turtles and while we were boogie boarding turtles were in the waves. At the condo we noticed the freezer was leaking and I contacted the property manager and she handled the situation perfectly. The freezer was fixed within 2 days, just the drain tub was clogged. We really enjoyed the communication from Howard about keys, activities, laundry room codes, and amenities. We will be back. Oh the couch pull out sofa was pretty comfortable so that was a plus.

We loved the area. More quiet than the hotels. Seemed peaceful. Was very windy on this part of the island but didn’t bother us. The owners were awesome and answered our questions very quickly. We will return.

My family had a fabulous stay at the Maalaea Kai. The location was central to Kihei and Lahaina. The condo was as expected and the grounds were well taken care of.

The condo was perfectly situated for our group. It was a quick drive to the local beach, a Luau in Lahaina, a trip to the airport, and dinner in Kihei. The layout worked for us. The kitchen was big enough for breakfast prep, ice maker worked perfectly. There was plenty of room in the living space with the patio supplementing the sitting area and the lounge chairs out on the grassy area supplied some extra alone space. It was crazy windy outside, but the patio is well sheltered & the pool is too. The pool was a must for us for this leg of our trip and as it had a deep end too, we actually swam in it. The elevator was a welcome amenity as we had a limited ability person with us. Thanks for a great stay, Howard and Kathleen!

This property is so well set up. The location is beautiful, the condo is spacious and so well set up. From kitchen utensils/appliances, to beach gear, to comfort inside the condo, it lacked for nothing. The property owner is very communicative, and sends welcoming emails that help you on your way directly from the airport, and beyond with recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, groceries and more. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

We loved our stay here! The view was amazing and this second floor Condo was very clean and nice. It was a quiet area since it was not on a through street. The condo is in a great central location and only a short distance from many different sights and adventures. It is so close to the water and walking distance to the wharf to look at boats, a private beach and a quaint little bbq bar and grill. The actual unit was easily accessible being close to the elevator and also close to laundry facilities. Our favorite thing to do was sit out on the lanai and enjoy the cool breeze and the perfect place to sit and watch the beautiful sunrises over the ocean. We even saw some sea turtles by the sea wall! The condo was well equipped and we had everything we needed to cook our meals. It was good advice to go to Costco by the airport on the way to the condo and stock up on food. If we’re ever blessed enough to come back to Maui we would stay here again!

Missing waking up in the morning and watching the waves roll in from our Lanai. Maalaea Kai #206 has stunning views of the bay. it was well equip for all our needs. Quiet and comfortable we would rent it again!

The view is exceptional from the lanai. We walked along the beach and watched all sizes of turtles feed and sun themselves. The property is in a perfect location and was so easy to find from the airport. About a 20 minute ride. The property is very clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a few home cooked meals while we we there. We did a couple of driving trips around Maui and were so close to some of the excursions we booked. We walked to the beach north of us and enjoyed the day there. Chairs and snorkel gear were in the closet so we didn't have to rent any. This is a wonderful and beautiful location. We will be back!!!

Centrally located on Maui so quick access to Lahaina, Wailea and Kahului. Great view of Maalaea Bay and Haleakala. Very windy our first 2 days but calm our last two days. Nice pool, but according to my GPS, a .44 mile walk to beach access that takes about 15 minutes. Comfortably roomy for 4 adults. Although the condo was a little dated, we loved it and it was a very good value! I think it would also be good for a couple with 2 children.

The condo was everything we hoped for. The view and location we perfect. We loved the area it was low key and very relaxing. We plan to be back!!!!

This was our first trip to Maui, and the accommodations were exceptional. It is truly what you see pictured on the site. Out away from the towns, but just far enough. Quite and well maintained both inside and out, a true home away from home. The rooms were well appointed, having everything you might need to start your vacation, except for the food... lol. Really!!! The trip to Costco or wherever can wait until you get settled. Bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, insect repellent (should you find the need), and even blow dryers in the bathrooms, and community BBQs out by the ocean. So, no problem if you happen to arrive in in the evening, there is nothing to get except dinner along the way. A quick drive down the highway from Lahaina, and we even took a snorkeling trip from the wharf within walking distance right up the sidewalk. There is a small, yet convenient shopping area in the same area as the wharf, and a great inexpensive bar and grill with outstanding BBQ entrees, awesome drink selections, a Happy Hour, and live entertainment every evening... We even had time to visit the Up Country (another short drive), after checking out and before catching our flights back to the Mainland. We found so many things to do and places to go within just a short drive. One thing I especially liked of the many others, was the packet of cards that was conveniently placed on the coffee table that had all the information about the condo, from help with the TV to the nearest Grocery stores, the distance and directions to the beaches and other attractions of interest, as well as types of fish commonly found in the area. There was a neat little notebook left for the renters to fill out, telling about their stay that was great to read and we enjoyed adding our experiences to it also. Also, the owner is very hands-on with advice both before, during and after your stay. He (they) make(s) you feel comfortable asking about anything. I would definitely recommend this condo as a place to stay to anyone, couples or families, wanting to experience Maui at its best...

This is a wonderful location, convenient to both Kihei, Wailea and points north, like Lahaina as well as the road to Hana. Being able to watch the sun rise over Haleakala was inspiring and being close to Maalaea Harbor made it easy to get to both the Pacific Whale excursions and snorkeling trips to Molokini. We saw many turtles right outside the condo and loved the relative quiet of the location. The property is in excellent condition with many amenities (like an expresso machine) that made our stay very enjoyable. The only drawback for us was the lack of laundry facilities in the unit itself though it was on the same floor. We highly recommend this place and would go back the next time we go to Maui.

We stayed in this condo for 12 days and found it to be ideal for two couples. With bedrooms and ensuite a at either end of the condo, we were each able to have our own space when we needed it. The condo is well set up with all holiday needs and its central location proved to be ideal for driving around the island. There is a great restaurant/bar close by and fishermen are well catered for with a large selection of charter boats in the harbour. Golfers have a large choice of courses within a ten minute drive and more affordable than some of the big-name courses. Overall I would highly recommend this condo for your stay on Maui.

We enjoyed our stay in Maui and found the condo to be a great location for all our day trips around the island. We are a family of five (3 teenagers) and didn't want to feel squished into a tiny condo or hotel room and Maalaea 206 provided us with plenty of room. Thanks to Howard and Kathleen for providing boogie boards and snorkelling equipment - had so much fun with those at the beach! Watching the sunrise on the lanai every morning was such a tranquil way to start the day and we enjoyed many walks down the beach - you can literally walk for miles. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a condo in Maui.

The condo is in a perfect location for staying in Maui. Close to the airport and centrally located on the island. Howard the owner is awesome to work with and very customer service oriented. They supply the toys for the beach including chairs, towels, boogie boards, and a cooler. Our next trip we will definitely stay in the condo again when we come back to Maui. There is a great restaurant near the aquarium "Seascape" that has wonderful food and ambiance and is a short walk from the condo which makes it nice if you want to have a drink or two and not drive. A perfect experience in a beautiful place. We traveled to Maui for our daughter's wedding and included elderly and young people, with a lot of activities all over the island and found the condo to be in great proximity to it all. Beautifully furnished, supplied with any and all beach going items you will need and the on site staff and support to keep everything in tip top shape. A great view of the turtles, whales and other ocean life from your balcony, left us a with a amazing view both morning and night. The sound of the waves and the ocean breeze at night was lovely and the complex was very quiet and with the adventures supplied at the marina and beaches within minutes in either direction. We would definitely stay again and look forward to returning soon.

We so enjoyed staying at this condo! Having the beautiful view and sound of the waves was fantastic! Pictures and descriptions on this site were excellent and right on! The location was nice and not far from the airport, shopping or restaurants, yet out of the city. The beach was steps away as were a few stores, restaurants and the aquarium. The furnishings were very nice and having a fully equipped, full size kitchen was also a plus. Everything was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfy and the complex was quiet. Pages of information provided by the owner before we left home plus more pages of information in the condo came in handy and having an on site property manager is always nice. The owner has answered any questions almost immediately. We would return in a heartbeat. Such great memories! We were really sorry when we had to leave.
