This was a lovely visit! The house was adequately equipped and had plenty of space for the kids to play outside, and a very short walk to the beach. We would love to come back again!

Just back from a week long stay at the Lovely Coral Reef. This is a fabulous property situated right off the beach front (5 minute walk) in Blue Mountain Beach. Location is very convenient also to several restaurants and retail. Property was found as described and is perfect for a "family & friends" vacation stay.

We had a wonderful visit to the Coral Reef in March 2024. We had a group of 10 including kids, parents, and grand parents. I would have no hesitations visiting this property again. I am breaking this review into 4 parts: Property, Communication, and Location. Property The Coral Reef was exactly as described, and we loved the space throughout. There was enough privacy for all, and the common areas were sufficient in size for all. The outside space is excellent with the private pool, patio, and wrap around porches. The carriage house is a great separate space if anyone needed privacy. The only part I could see someone not “loving” about the space is that it’s not luxurious…you aren’t getting high end furnishings as an example. That said, the total package with the property is excellent. Communication Rhetta and Julie were great. There were no issues with responsiveness on the front end of the trip, or during the trip. There were some minor things that popped up, but Julie was all over it when raised. Have confidence in the team running the rental. Location Easy walks to the beach, ice cream, bakery, restaurants, and Convenience stores. I also walked in the state forest nearby. The local Publix was 5 minutes by car, and WalMart was about 10 minutes. There is some high end retail shopping in Sandestin not far away, and Destin itself was 40 minutes. If you are comfortable walking, this location is convenient.

What a wonderful location and property. Cleanest place we have ever stayed. Paper products provided. Pool and beach toys plentiful. Julie was our contact person and she was always on the ball and helped us tremendously. A huge shout out to property owner for allowing us to use their property and their great cleaning crew. We walked to the beach every day sometimes twice a day. We walked to ice cream shop everyday. Quiet street. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds comfortable. Appreciated the use of your games, puzzles and books.TVs for everyone to watch their own shows. Loved the quiet white sandy beach that went on for miles. Will definitely return. Our family of 10 had plenty of space to be separate but together. We ranged in age from 68 to 4. Safe quiet place to take a young family. Highly recommend this property.

What a fabulous week celebrating our 60th! Perfect house for 8 of us! We loved the proximity to the beach. We loved the pool. We loved the grill. We loved renting bikes from Big Fish bike rentals. We loved the beach chairs and umbrella that were there. We loved the bedrooms with lots of bathrooms. We loved the local restaurants. We loved having Publix and Walmart so close. We just had a FABULOUS time!! Thanks for sharing the beautiful house with our group!

It is secluded but close to beach access and shops. Big Fish Bike rental was reasonable and easy to work with, delivered and picked up.

Everything was perfect! Beautiful house, nice pool and just minutes from the beach. Definitely would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property! Photos don’t do it justice. House was clean and the location was perfect - five minute walk to the beach! My kids loved the private pool and there was plenty of space for everyone in the house. Property manager was super responsive and sent a handyman over right away when the outdoor lights weren’t working. Only issues was that the oven wasn’t clean so the smoke alarm went off every time we opened it, and the grill also was quite dirty so we didn’t end up using it. Otherwise 10/10 and would absolutely stay again!

Very nice. Any minor issues we may have had were addressed within 1 to 2 days max. The property management/ manager was extremely attentive and responsive.

Had a wonderful stay here! Four couples, 3 small children, loved being so close to the beautiful beach. House was well equipped and clean with comfortable beds. The outdoor pool and patio were plenty big for our group and enjoyed by all. We had all our meals at the covered picnic table. My wife and I (the grandparents) enjoyed our private retreat in the carriage house. Highly recommended!

We loved our second visit and hope to return for a third visit

It is now very hard to get all of our children (who are married) all together at the same time....so we rented this house to accommodate everyone (which it did) and we had a wonderful time!!

This was our third stay at this house and we hope to come back! This is a perfect location for our annual three-generation family trip. Our main activities this year included several rounds of golf, walks/runs on the beach, boogie boarding and surfing. The pool is always a highlight for the kids- they especially enjoy the colorful lighting for night swims. The grandparents enjoy the proximity to the beach as well as the option to retreat to the separate space in the carriage house. The property manager is very responsive and helpful.

Great location, perfect for our group of families. We had a handful of young children, so pool house was excellent for our childfree couple. Pool and outdoor area were popular among all. Very easy walk to beach.

I can’t give enough praise to this beautiful property! It was extremely clean, was better supplied than any property we have rented before, and the pool and beach access were wonderful and convenient (2 blocks to the beach!)The owner was very responsive to any questions I had, and Julie, the property manager was in touch from the beginning and very, very helpful! Our extended family of 10 had the most wonderful time at this property!

Property description was accurate, very close to the beach with eye nice beach access route. Pool was nice and we opted to have it heated…good move for a late February visit. Great biking in the area with numerous local restaurants with live entertainment. Very. Nice area!

CLEAN & CONVENIENT TO ALL BLUE MOUNTAIN HAS TO OFFER

We were a family of 12. 4 senior adults, 4 middle age adults and 4 children, ages 1,4,6,8. The house worked perfectly for our group. We loved the location and the ability to be close enough to the beach to walk there. House was equipped well for preparing meals there when desired. There were beach toys there for the children, a high chair for the baby. We stayed in the efficiency above the garage. That also worked great for our family makeup. We will probably rent it again for next year.

Overall a good experience, home is in a great location/ neighborhood. Home needed some updates but was very clean. In our opinion, some mattresses were too firm and some bedding pillows needed to be replaced. Management was very responsive to a no heat compliant the first night of stay.

Terrific house and location. Would highly recommend!!!

The property needs a little TLC. We had AC issues the first night, sewage issues the rest of the stay. It was not enjoyable to sit out by the pool because of the smell. The property manager is very responsive and offered to have the sewage fixed, but it required digging and workers during our stay. We opted for them to wait. Needs a few updates in toilets and kitchen sink faucet, caulking in kitchen. Cleaning in over the garage room has been neglected. Anything you need the property manager will take care of, though. We would stay again.

Only issue was the outside septic tank had some type of overflow issue by the pool entrance gate

We had a great time! Great location, so close to everything yet still so quiet! Easy access to the beach and the pool was a lifesaver as it rained most of the time we were there so we just stayed by the pool while we couldn’t be on the beach. Love this property and we were sad to see it was already booked for next year

Everything went well with booking and checking in. The beach is absolutely beautiful!! Clear blue water waves are calm perfect for our grandkids. House has a lot of room with a nice size pool! House has everything we needed

My husband and I stayed here with my in-laws and our three kids. This house was incredible and we felt right at home. My mother in law cried when she walked in house for the first time because the house was so beautiful and she felt thankful we got to stay there. The short walk to the beach was easy for our kids. Despite the rain and red flags during our entire stay we had a great time! Cute and clean property. Easy check in. Perfect location. Could use some updates to the kitchen and patio area but doesn’t deter from the experience. We had a great stay! Would definitely book again with this property.

Very clean, short walking distance to the beach, beautiful, heated pool. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to shops and eating places. An all-around great house!

We enjoyed our stay there very much and with the carriage house worked very well for our family, but we had a few problems. Our outside lights did not work for half of our stay. It was very difficult to get around outside, and we could not sit out on pool patio! Pool light was the only light on patio. One maintenance man fixed lights, but pool did not run, then pool maintenance came and corrected that problem and lights did not work that night!!! Needs electrical checked out!!!! The pool never felt warm until the last couple of nights!! When I mentioned that to the man working on pool, he said we had had some cool nights!! Exactly, that’s why we paid to have it heated!! On line and on the info sheet inside house, the price for heating pool said $20 a day for each day less than a week, or $120 for the week. We were asked to pay $140! Our daughter in law, Christina Massingill took care of communications with you for our trip to your property, but Kenneth Massingill is the one that paid for the stay. He was very disappointed with the lighting and pool. He wasn’t even able to get in pool because the water was never warm enough! If these problems were addressed, and corrected, we would recommend this property.
