Once again, we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It did get a bit warm at night during our stay with no air conditioning, but the fans helped. Despite everyone’s best efforts, there was a pretty bad fruit fly infestation. We still enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year.

We had an amazing time at the Omena house. Comfortably slept 19 people for our wedding weekend. We had 35 people over for a beautiful rehearsal dinner in the back yard and had plenty of tables and chairs. Ample room to socialize throughout the house and plenty of bathrooms for the large group. This house will have a special place in our heart forever!

The house was perfect for our family. We were a group of 14. We had a wonderful time. the house is absolutely lovely. Other than lack of air conditioning, it was perfect. There are lots of fans to help keep things cool enough.

Could not have asked for a more perfect location and home to gather our Michigan, Arizona and Colorado family. We enjoyed every inch of this well appointed house. The owners have not missed a thing. Big family breakfasts in the morning, and games on the lawn. Walks to the private beachfront to gather colorful stones….just loved it all! Communication was great! A+

What a fabulous week it was. We actually had 2 houses. 4 families stayed at The Omena House. The other 3 at another house. Well supplied for large gatherings. Love this house!!!

My group LOVED the Omena House! The property was beautiful, spacious, and clean, with gorgeous views and every amenity we could possibly think of. Our only point of concern was the communication. When we first booked the property, my request had to "expire" twice before the third one was accepted. We understood it was on a weekend, but I have never had an Vrbo/guest home host take more than 24 hours to reply to anything before. Then, when the date of our stay came closer, I received the "access information" for the property that just named a person I needed to contact for the info, but did not give a phone number. This was apparently the name of the person's old middleman property manager (the Vrbo host is not the property manager of this home - they work through a middle person). Luckily, we were able to get the name and number of the correct contact who gave us the access code and was incredibly helpful. We are still incredibly grateful for our beautiful, peaceful stay, but wish communication could have gone a little smoother with less delays and less confusion.

We had an all girls birthday and bachelorette celebration. The house was amazing. It is so big with plenty of sitting areas to meet everyone's mood. Everyone also had their own space in a bedroom. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Sorority sisters (Soronian Society) from Olivet College from the 1960s have gathered at the Omena House four times and plan to return again next year. The house is roomy and homey and perfect for us to spend five days together. Almost everyone had her own bedroom and bathroom. We have had 11 to 15 sisters each year. I would highly recommend Omena House.

Perfect location for a girl's weekend! Can't say enough about the property, the owner and our host. Everything was clean and well cared for. Plenty of space for all of us. We will be back!

The Omena House has everything you would want for a large group gathering - fire pit, bbq grill, dishes/utensils for everyone, large living room and dining room spaces to allow the whole group to gather. Only downside is the house was a little dirty from normal wear and tear from numerous large groups coming through time after time. The location is excellent and the small beach area was perfect for our group.

House is large & comfortable for large group or family gathering , all amenities available, I would just suggest upgrading sheets , pillows & some comforters, some things seem old & very dated .But house was great was in town for family wedding .

It was all it said and much more! Beautiful house, excellent lay out for a large group. The two kitchens and living rooms as well as the outside deck was such a treat! It was quiet and stocked with everything I could imagine to need. Mark was great and easy to get ahold of. Everyone raved about the house and the location and how much they enjoyed it. I have only good things to say! Thanks!

The Omena House was a grand place for our family reunion .....accomodating the needs of a variety of ages. It was neat and tidy when we arrived and we found the appointments , etc. in the kitchens and baths top notch. There were lots of smiles and laughter during our stay. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Omena house. We were there for a family vacation.The house was spacious with many areas to gather so you really never felt crowded. There were 22 of us and that included 6 children. The beach area was small but we really made the best of it and in the end it was perfect. The quaint towns around the house had many things to do also. Contacting the owner was easy and quick. The caretaker was very pleasant and had lots of stories and recomandations for things to do in the area. I would really recommend this property.

The house had a lot of space and handled are large group nicely. The beach area was small but had lots of Petody stones and good views. It is nice being within walking distance to Omena.

This home was awesome! It had a lot of spacious bedrooms to accommodate couples and singles. Each one was "labeled" so that you knew which was yours. :) We especially liked to open living spaces for gathering. A large table for eating and playing cards which opened up to the kitchen and two other living spaces. Everyone was able to be together comfortably. There was also living space upstairs, so if you wanted to get away to a quieter spot, you could do that as well. We loved the fire pit and short walk to the waterfront parcel on the bay. A nice, quiet road to walk in the morning with our coffee, and a short distance to Omena. It was just perfect! Will definitely stay here again!
