Visiting family. This was a perfect location in every way. Maria and her husband were very kind and attentive. I will visit the area again and hope my dates work with their availability.

Easy to find, excellent parking. You do have to walk upstairs, but it doesn’t bother me because I am an active person. The rooms were clean. The beds were amazing. 11 minutes drive from Harry Potter forbidden experience in Westchester county. New York. Calm quiet area - near all . The host is absolutely spectacular . I will re book for the future .

Maria is so accommodating! She makes a point of seeing you in person to make sure everything is ok. My husband and I got Covid when we were suppose to stay and she worked with us to make other arrangements. The apartment is clean, spacious and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. We have stayed in many air b and bs and rented places and this is one of our favorites. Also can’t beat the location or the parking!

the property was conveniently located, short easy drive to the train station. we felt safe. it is an old house, over 100 years old, so there's some creakiness, but that only added to the charm. it was very clean, had all the amenities we needed. we enjoyed it very much. it had all the modern fixtures, coffee maker(standard) and Keurig, free wifi, free netflix. the town was quiet and peaceful, with a number of good, small restaurants and eateries. the hostess was very friendly and accommodating. very responsive to questions. she is a very nice lady and we enjoyed our chat with her.

We were in the area for a family Halloween excursion and this was in the perfect location. It’s pretty close to everything we wanted to do while on our mini vacation. The apartment was great, very clean and had everything you could want to make it feel like a home away from home. Property owner was very friendly and accommodating. Over all we were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back again if we’re in the area!

We came into town for the Blaze but used the apartment as a home base for our day trips to the Bronx and Manhattan. The apartment is accurately represented in the listing with numerous amenities such as toiletries, games and basic non perishable kitchen items. The flat is very clean, the beds are exceptionally comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet and walkable. The MTA north is minutes away for easy access to Manhattan. The Shop Rite is also close and has a fantastic selection of food. Maria is an accessible and friendly hostess! Don’t miss the sunset on the Hudson while you’re there!

We visited Croton so we could go to The Great Pumpkin Blaze and visit other local attractions, and for the second year in a row we stayed at this charming home just up the road from the downtown area. It is remarkably clean, spacious, and comfortable. Maria is a most gracious host! She’s communicative and willing to offer help or local suggestions if needed. Staying here is an excellent choice if you’re doing anything touristy anywhere near the area. Hotels aren’t all that close and for the price honestly don’t compare to the locally personal and cozy feeling you get staying here. We’ll be back!

My husband and I came in for a 5 day stay. We picked this property from the great reviews and it was close to the sights we wanted to see. Maria is the sweetest and checked in to make sure our stay was the best experience. The property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We look forward to staying again in the future.

With full kitchen and a bathroom stocked with most anything you may have forgotten, this is a nice alternative to staying in a hotel. Maria is a wonderful host and she communicated with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The super-comfortable bed was our favorite feature in this apartment.

We had a GRAND experience from the introduction to our hosts to our nine night stay. There are stairs but the view of the trees & sky from the porch makes them worth it & are doable.. Maria & husband, your hosts, are so kind & helpful with all questions & requests that it’s a true pleasure to deal with them. Accommodations are comfortable & Immaculate. Location is lovely & convenient. The town is in walking distance & has all you could ask for & a 2 minute ride has more creature choices. Thank you for all your kindness Will see you on our return for sure.

Maria was great, greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the apartment. The in town location was very convenient for our trip. The off street parking was especially convenient. Being able to have our dogs with us was very important to us as well. The apartment was clean, had two great tv’s. Lots of dvd’s and games were available for us also. The kitchen had all the things you might need to cook your own meals and lots of nice touches like spices, olive oil, coffee, tea, even cereal. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had lots of toiletries available in case you had forgotten something. It was also very quiet which we really liked. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

I don’t think our stay could have been much better! We needed accommodation for our small family (me, husband + kid), and because we couldn’t find a dog sitter, our two dogs were with us too. It was a luxury having two bedrooms! We also enjoyed being in walking distance of great coffee, ice cream & restaurants. The street can be kind of busy, which was a bit much when walking the dogs, but not a problem otherwise. The apartment itself was very quiet. Maria was so friendly & helpful (she also makes great brownies!). The apartment was clean and updated and had everything we could need in both the kitchen & bathroom. We had a wonderful stay!

This was a great property for our family and pet. Our boys were most excited/surprised by the XBox. Great location for exploring great nature near by and getting into the city. Host was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

My friend and I wanted to have a girls getaway weekend. This was a perfect halfway point. Maria is a wonderful attentive host. She greeted us and spoke with us everyday when we ran into her to check on our stay. The rental is the second floor of an older home. The floors creak, but the place is immaculate. Maria has it decorated very nicely and it is very well stocked! Not only with essentials (paper towels, tp, dishes) but also entertainment (movies, games, things to do around town), and kitchen nice to haves (coffee, creamer, sugar, even some cooking ingredients). The beds are comfortable and the linens are soft and wonderful. AC was great and ran as needed. Shower is small, but again, all toiletries are well stocked (more than expected). Location is wonderful - walking distance to restaurants and ice cream, etc. lots to do. Very safe! We ran out of time to do everything. Would definitely stay again. The only caution is you do have to do a flight of steps to enter the rental, and the cell service outside the rental is terrible. Maria does have great service inside the rental, but our carrier must have a dead spot in that area, without WI-FI we had no reception. Soon after you leave that area it picks back up. Not sure why. Otherwise, highly recommend this place!

This is the perfect location for a short train ride to NYC or nice quiet weekend on the Hudson Valley. House was super clean and had everything we needed to make our stay feel at home!

There aren’t many places to stay of note in this area. However, this is the exception. Great location, clean, comfortable, spacious, with a great host. She made sure we had all we needed. If you’re in the area I’d highly recommend a stay here.
