Excellent location. Great trip for our family.

It was fabulous! Just what we wanted, a funky beach house on one of our favorite beaches!💗💗We have come before and will visit again!

Third or fourth time staying at DBH and it was relaxing as always. Easy access to beach, great view, and plenty of space to spread out. We'll be back!

This was our second time at this property. We loved both of our stays here. Especially love hanging out on the deacons watching and listening to the ocean. The ocean is one of our favorite places to be.

Great view and roomy

The property is amazing, spending time on the deck is unbeatable. We saw whales and dolphins throughout the day. Our stay was during record heat in Half Moon Bay and it was gorgeous. The kitchen is fully equipped, and bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Would love to stay again.

My daughter had her wedding at the Douglas Beach House which was attached to the house, so this was a perfect place. So convenient. The house and the venue was so ideal and completely matched our needs. I’m so grateful! Thank you!!

Very relaxing stay. Unique home with a rich musical history. The view is spectacular, and the property manager, Claire, was very responsive and attentive.

The house is a little quirky but fun to stay in. It is directly across the street from the beach; fun to hang out on the deck. The bridge nearby is under construction so there was no traffic - not sure what it is like when the bridge is back on line. Internet is good; kitchen well-equipped; clean.

This property was perfect for 3 generations of great family time - both at the beachhouse and for surrounding area activities. The house was roomy, well stocked and very comfortable. The deck offered more space for family time activities with a lot of seating for our group of 8. I also appreciated the layout of the kitchen - able to visit with other family in the living room as well as see the ocean while preparing meals. Our host was very responsive too to my inquiries. Would definitely like to stay again.

Our 3rd stay here! As always we enjoyed watching the waves all day and the easy access to all the local amenities. The rental is well stocked with everything you need to cook if that's what you chose or it's easy to walk to a meal or pickup meals to go. The deck is a wonderful spot to relax.

Very comfortable, very clean, perfectly located for lots of Long Beach walks. Everyone loves the Douglas house and waved and smiled as if we deserved credit for all the fond memories people have there. The kitchen, bar, and deck are ideal for entertaining. Claire made it all easy.

This was our second time this year staying at the DBH on Miramar Beach. Without a doubt our favorite VRBO. This house is special and the surrounding area is perfect for taking walks on the beach or just sitting on the deck watching the ocean. Claire, the property host, is great and always available if you need her. The kitchen is well equiped and if you choose this house for your vacation you will not be disappointed. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Really enjoyed staying here. Beautiful views and a one block walk to a restaurant. The Jazz library was a special treat.

Really enjoyed our stay. The property is located right along the ocean, walking distance to restaurants and cafes, and has a great view. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths downstairs are nicely sized and well appointed. The upstairs has an open format, a huge amount of space, and great views of the ocean. You also have access to large external deck with ocean views. Next time we come back to Half Moon Bay we will be sure to stay here again.

We had a great time. Only suggestion is the deck needs shade during the day and a heater at night. But the location can't be beat.

A very nice property, new appliances throughout. Very clean, which is most important to us. Owners tried to seek renters’ corporation to maintain the cleanliness during the stay. Outside hose was provided to rinse the sand off before we go insider after activities at the beach. I enjoyed the owner’s rental protocol very much. Everything was explained well on the check in information. Also very important, is the view. The location is unbeatable and the view from the deck is breathtaking. It is conveniently located near all ocean and land activities, restaurants and grocery stores. No matter which route you are taking for your vacation, there is always a way to satisfy you.

We had an exceptional time. Perfect place for gathering family together. We cooked most of our meals in because we simply just didn’t want to leave. Lots of wonderful wildlife, seals, pelicans, etc. Places to rent canoes just down the street. Lots of fun.

Property was immaculate & view of the ocean from the deck was breathtaking. All guests enjoyed it even was able to whale watch. Mgmt was quick to answer and accommodation questions would definitely stay again

This Beach Shack turned Jazz club was the perfect place for us to explore Half Moon Bay from The Deck is comfy and the kitchen well stocked with everything needed to cook a meal

This property is so unique! We truly enjoyed browsing through the jazz cd collection and even the teenager found some they liked. Nonstop views of the ocean, listening to the waves, and being able to walk to the beach from the house made it a perfect location. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of places to spread out to enjoy the space.

Four friends from around the country stayed at this home for a girlfriend's weekend. The location was incredible - with ocean views from every room upstairs. We did yoga in the sunroom, lounged by the cozy fire and played games, cooked together in the spacious kitchen, and spent a lot of time watching sunsets in comfy chairs on the big deck. The beds were super comfortable and this home is close to beaches and hiking trails and less than an hour from SFO. I'd definitely go back!
