This is a great location for short drives to nearby harbors, restaurants, and lighthouses. The view is spectacular and there is plenty of space for birdwatching from the back porch. Definitely a top notch place!!

This is a beautiful property with magnificent views! Our stay was the perfect place for a family vacation—spacious and a great location to enjoy the beautiful Maine shoreline.

Clean, well maintained home. Everyone loved it. We took some great hikes, used the fire pit and kayaks. Could have spent another week, easily. Kitchen has everything you need. Thank you for sharing your home!

We had a great stay in this property! The house is sunny and more than roomy enough for the four of us, with a truly excellent, well-equipped kitchen. The deck and yard overlooking the large inlet are more delightful than the photos can ever tell. Kayaks got a workout, and at two minutes into Downtown Rockland, the location is perfect--quiet but close to the action. BTW, the property managers were great--answered a couple of small questions, even after hours, and were thorough and efficient before and during the stay.

You can't be in a better spot. Great views, a chance to experience to large tidal variations, wildlife and birds. A seafood shop and butcher shop just down the street. Only location issue is the next door neighbor wo can be a bit overbearing if you aren't very attentive to your parking. The house itself is in need of some updating. Stained rugs; some kitchen stuff very well taken care of while other stuff is overused, missing or broken; blinds that didn't work; a grill that requires special handling, an outdoor railing with exposed nails, etc., are what keeps this from being a 5-star visit. The rental management company was very helpful more than not, but didn't address all our issues. The mini-splits in the upstairs weren't as effective as we had hoped, and the back screen door is a total pain as it operates poorly and has a gap to let bugs in. Despite those minor issues, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay with three families. Waterfront and lawn perfect. Quiet location. Kitchen well stocked with good knives and all you need to cook and eat lobstahs. Only thing we'd change would be a swap out the charcoal grill for a gas one!

The house was lovely. The view fabulous. Well-stocked kitchen if anyone wants to cook on vacation. Great time relaxing with friends.

Ice maker in the refrigerator still not functioning properly despite and earlier critique, blind in in the master bedroom broken, and TV system is absolutely useless. Can NOT get LIVE shows,sports,etc. (only news from NY or FL). Property management individual didn't seem too interested in addressing problems directly (text message only). No physical presence since she must be in Portland. Will not be returning to this property in future visits. VERY disappointing in comparison to other properties in the area.

Comfortable and bright home.

The house was very clean and was as it was advertised. There were a couple of things that needed fixing which we discovered after being there a few days. The ice maker was very unreliable, 2 of the rocking chairs had cracked rockers so we didn't use them, and the front screen door had a separated screen on the left as you go out. We did not see the elderly neighbors but the ones directly across from the house were overly nosey and even took photos on one occasion when we left the van in front of the house for a couple hours before heading out again.

The house is lovely, clean (and fully equipped), and well located at the center of all our activities, allowing us to take easy day trips further away, such as Portland (headlight) and Freeport (LLBean & shopping) and Acadia/Bar Harbor. Owls Head and Rockland of the nearby towns (Thomaston, Camden, Rockport) had so many cute shops and restaurants. We loved being able to hike Owls Head, Mount Battie & Acadia. We all enjoyed a few nights roasting marshmallows at the house firepit and seeing planets appear and shooting stars. Plus, some in our party enjoyed taking the kayaks into our gorgeous quiet cove. All in all, a beautiful, memorable week!

We had a great time in this VRBO in Owl's Head. It exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was clean and beautifully decorated, and that view- WOW! We will definitely look at renting here again if we are back in this area.
