Perfect for fishing vacation, close to both Charlevoix and Walloon lakes. Ample parking for truck and boat. Did not realize no AC, weather was beautiful with cool nights so did not need. Coming back next week with better half for fishing vacation. Hoping nights are cool again. If there was AC This place would be more than perfect. Hope it gets added in future as we hope to come every year.

Our two families really enjoyed making dinner and hanging out in this sweet place which we rented to go to Avalanche Bay waterpark. It was particularly fun for the kids to have their own sleeping loft with four twin beds. Our beds were comfortable and we liked seeing the lake as well. Thanks!

We stayed for a family ski vacation and the location could not have been more perfect. It’s less than 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain and about 30 minutes from Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. It’s also a mile from Downtown Boyne City, with lots of restaurants, bars and shops. We also like the proximity to Charlevoix and all the area wineries.

This was our second stay at this property. It is a wonderful place at a great location. Lora quickly responded to any messages and our stay was great

Very comfortable accommodations. Had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. Beds were comfortable. Worked out perfectly for 6 adults on a weekend getaway. Lora was quick to respond.

We came to Boyne City to visit family. This was a great location to where they lived. We also wanted to visit Charlevoix, Petoskey and Harbor Springs and once again this location was the perfect place. We would stay here again.

Labor Day weekend was hot!! We took extra fans and were thankful for cooler evenings. Location of the house allowed us the privacy we needed to open the windows and enjoy peaceful evenings.

We loved the location, water views from windows and short drive to a nice beach that is kid friendly. Lots to do in the region (recommend SkyBridge and Castle Farms). This place had some quirks and flaws. The cleaning was a bit off. The grill was a mess, a sheet was missing on a bed, and dishes were dirty in the cupboard (dishwasher still had detergent on bottom when we arrived, so likely didn’t run properly). There were ants in the bathroom and ant bait in the living room. The spiral staircase has massive gaps between the rails, our 13 year old could fit between them, so I’d be careful bringing a toddler. There were a few spots with exposed wires coming up from the floor (kitchen counter and in a bedroom).

I had two friends from Texas who wanted to visit Mackinac Island and see some of Michigan’s small cities. This location was perfect. The rental property was perfect for us. It had everything we needed.

This was the perfect size for 4 adults and 2 kids. The house is only a road a way from the water and it was very quiet and peaceful.

Would highly recommend staying here. Fantastic value. Super clean. Great location. Huge lawn with fire pit. Very comfortable beds. Cordial hosts.
