Alison was great to communicate with and was very helpful and prompt responding to our questions. We had a group of 11 and were very comfortable!

This house was perfect for a trip with 3 generations of family; the kids enjoyed having their own living space on the lower level. The kitchen had every appliance, dish, or cooking utensil we could think of. There was also a second refrigerator in the basement, so we could fit more than enough food for 10 people for a week. We went snowshoeing on the lake, which was easily accessible, and we took a number of trips to Jay Peak for skiing. The half hour drive was extremely manageable. Alison was a wonderful host. We never saw her, but she was sure to check in via text, and she even mailed back a pair of slippers we accidentally left behind. Go. You won’t be disappointed.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clear communication with the hostess gave us easy an arrival and departure! Rooms were plentiful and we enjoyed the large dining table and kitchen! Great location, enjoyed walks on the frozen lake and easy trip into Newport! Thank you!

The house was exactly as described. Plenty of space for our three families. Everything that we needed and more. Short drive to Jay Peak (under 30 mins) and the same for Canada. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall we would love to make this an annual place to visit.

This host went above and beyond to make this home ready for guests! We were a group of 14 (mix of kids and adults) and there was plenty of room to not only sleep but feel at home in any space in this home. There was plenty of Dinnerware and drinkware. Very clean home and perfectly furnished. The host thought of everything. We felt right at home. Cozy fireplace with a great couch in front was the place to be for family games. Our favorite spot was the Dining room with great views of the outdoors. Aside from very clean and spacious, the view of the lake was amazing. Waking up to that view made the trip even more enjoyable We give is 10/10 stars! Just like the pictures. Highly recommend driving up to the Jay Peak resort for skiing and hanging out. It's perfect distance if you want to stay outside of the resort or you're a big group but want to enjoy the resort for the day.

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful lake house. With 8 adults and 5 children there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate. The common space is very open with a beautiful dining room overlooking the lake. Various water toys for both kids and adults. Very quiet and private. Alison was a very responsive host and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this property for a summer vacation on the lake.

Our family reunion which included 6 adults and 5 kids ranging in age from 8-14, could not have been more pleased with this property. Good location, comfortable rooms and beds for everyone, large kitchen and dining room, 4 kayaks, many inflatables, beautiful dock as well. Very positive communication with the family's contact representative as well. Highly recommend this home for any type of larger gathering.

What a great place for 3 families of with 11 people in total. 6 Adults and 5 Children under 11 years old. The house was perfect for having a great vacation on the lake. The house was clean and very well stocked. Lots of towels and sheets. Every amenity was available. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked as well. We cooked almost every night and never had an issue finding what we needed. Everything was clean and the flow of the house was perfect for our group. The kids had the bottom level for sleeping and relaxing. The main floor has a great open flow for cooking, eating, relaxing or watching tv. When the adults were eating in the dining area, we could not hear the kids watching tv just a few feet away. Lots of windows for beautiful views and a nice breeze. Bedrooms were great and had large beds. 3 Bathrooms were very helpful and all were very clean. The property and location are amazing. The area is very quiet. The lake was very quiet. Our children had so much fun playing in the yard, dock, swimming/fishiung in the lake we were out from sun up to sun down. The screened in porch was perfect during a shower or to escape from the sun. The back deck had great seating as did under the deck. When it rained we spent some time at the Jay Peak indoor waterpark (a short drive). Grocery stores and downtown are all only 15 minutes away. All 3 families were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking at this property. Alison was great all the way through the process. Once we were in the house, everything was just like she said and we never had to reach out for any issue. You can tell that this house has been loved. Our group added to that love. We had a blast during our 7 day stay. If you are looking for a perfect lake vacation don't look any further.

This house made all of us feel at home. Super clean. Beds were comfortable with crisp clean sheets. The views of the water were outstanding. Coming from Texas it was really cold, the house stayed warm and cozy. Would recommend for a large family vacation.

Super convenient to Jay Peak. Plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 kids. The owners have thought of everything and the availability of spices, etc. is a nice touch!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Allison’s property! Gorgeous views of the lake and ample space for our large group! It is located about 25 minutes to Jay Peak which wasn’t too bad. Having young children, we will probably look for a closer residence next time. House is an older house with old appliances and outdated bathrooms — could definitely use some updates. Overall we were really happy with our stay.

Alison’s house is very comfortable and spacious. There were 10 of us, ages 17+, and there was plenty of space to spread out or come together. Beds were comfortable. The lake is beautiful as is the area in general. Would definitely stay again.

Plenty of space, plenty of seating areas and table space (we love pitch) for cards or eating in large groups etc. Well equiped kitchen...cozy family/living room(s). As stated, nice library to ponder over many book titles...very nice. Our group (14) felt bad about the bed linens left in laundry as requested🙄. The lower level entrance for snow boot and gear removal was perfect and we'll heated for drying such items to which it also had an additional fridge for placing outgoing food items for the next days ice fishing outings which are all day affairs. Overall, we hope to return and this time stay on Magog waters😊

WE VISITED FROM OUT OF STAY TO SKI AT NEARBY JAY PEAK, ABOUT 30 MIN AWAY. THE HOUSE WAS AS ADVERTISED. IT IS TRULY THE OWNERS LONG TIME HOME AND NOT JUST AN EMPTY, VACANT RENTAL PROPERTY.... EVERYTHING EXTRA YOU IMAGINE YOU COULD NEED WAS THERE IN ABUNDANCE, YOU JUST NEED THE STAPLES. THE LOCATION IS BEAUTIFUL.

We were celebrating a 40th birthday on the slopes of Jay. Alison was very available throughout the entire rental process, the house is fantastic and well equipped for mature groups. We loved it and will be back!

It was our third time staying at Alison's place and we enjoyed it a lot. The house is spacious and at a great location. A bunch of us hit Jay Peak for some skiing while the rest ice fished just in front of the house. We are looking forward to staying here again next year.

We were not without anything. The house felt like home the minute I arrived. Clean, fully furnished kitchen, plenty of space and sunshine and wonderful views over the lake facing east. We would love to return for our next winter family gathering. If the house was available in the summer, we would grab a stay in a minute. Alison was great to work with, very helpful with plenty of information, efficient and responded quickly to my questions.

A group of us stayed at this house over the weekend for a ski trip up to Jay Peak and we all had a great experience. The open living room and kitchen area were a great space for all 10 of us to comfortably lounge about, and the views overlooking the lake were wonderful. We all also really enjoyed the hot tub, which is now going to be a requirement for all ski trip houses going forward, as that was the perfect way to cap off a long day of skiing. Finally, the owner, Alison, was great to work with and provided a binder with detailed information about the house that made everything very easy. Thanks Alison!

The house was amazing and had all the necessities. The best part was the lake! We had 11 people and everyone had plenty of room. Jay Peak was only 30 minutes. Well worth checking this place out for a big group of people!

I came up with a team of MBA students for a women's pond hockey tournament and this house was everything we were looking for. We were able to make meals as a group in the beautiful kitchen and eat all together looking over the lake. After our games we relaxed in the hot tub and watched Miracle in the enormous living room. It snowed overnight but by the time we woke up the driveway had been well-plowed. We will definitely try and make time to stay here again!
