We absolutely loved this condo! The view was absolutely incredible! The convenience of having the pool, exercise room, restaurants, and so much more made this trip one to remember. Chris was very easy to work with and made sure our stay was top-notch! The condo was very clean and modern. Unfortunately, we had to end our stay short because of an emergency, but we will return soon! First time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. I will be recommending this condo to my friends and family!

We had a wonderful weekend stay here! The property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Our trip was short, so we could not take full advantage of everything, though I wish we could! We loved how close we were to dipping our toes in the lake and liked the sandy beach area nearby. We also loved using the gliders on the balcony to enjoy some reading time and take in views of the lake. I only have a couple of recommendations, but they certainly did not significantly affect our visit. There are hard-to-see transitions into the kitchen and bedroom and I nearly tripped a couple of times. I would recommend adding a full-length mirror in the unit. The only large mirror is in the bathroom, so it was challenging for 2 adults to get ready at the same time. There is a small vanity mirror in the bedroom, but it is not easy to use. The vanity chair, while visually appealing, sits too far below the desk so it was not functional. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed a very nice stay and this was a beautiful place to relax. We hope to return to the area with our little one in the future!

Well appointed and clean condo with fantastic views! We loved the covered deck and location within this fabulous community on Smith mountain Lake! Quality appliances with stone counters and upgraded bathroom made this a very comfortable stay for the two of us. We expect to be back here again!

Barnards Landing was a great neighborhood to take some quiet time and also have several amenities. This was my first time at Smith Mountain Lake and it was beautiful and the condo was perfect for what I needed.

The condo was clean! Not much counter space but the stovetop cutting board was perfect for adding space needed. We appreciated the white storage cabinet being empty to use for our pantry items. Perfect condo for two people! Nice finishes but please get rid of the matted shag area rug in the living room! Also the low, uncomfortable sofa was the only seating. The bath towels were not fluffy, resort quality. Shutter doors on outside of peninsula were falling apart and pots and kitchen items in these cabinets were disorganized and not easily accessible.

My wife and I stayed there for our birthday weekend. Checked in Friday and checked out on Sunday. Communication with the owner was awesome! He was very responsive. The condo was beautiful, inside and out. The view was amazing. I wish we could have stayed the whole week and done more things, checked out more of the amenities. I don’t know how we could have been happier.

Furthermore, the facilities and amenities provided at Bernard's Landing were top-notch. The well-maintained swimming pool, fitness center, sauna, beach area ... added an extra layer of relaxation and entertainment to my our getaway. Last but not least, the proximity of property to local attractions and points was another highlight. In conclusion, WE WILL BE BACK!

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary. It was such a wonderful and memorable experience due to the beautiful location and the home away from home atmosphere. We loved it so much we just may be repeat customers!

The host "Chris" is very acessable. And answered any and every question (no matter how big or small) before, and during my stay. I was pleased 100% with my stay. I lived in the area, but moved to another state. The views of the lake and mountains has been severely missed. It's off season, so it was peaceful and quiet. Very, enjoyable. Thank you, so much. It's was what the soul needed.

A wonderful few days spent at Bernard's Landing! Very nice place to stay as well as beautiful views of the lake! Great place to walk and the indoor poop and hot tub were so nice during the winter! Chris was a great help with any questions we had!

I was so glad I could snag this listing for Christmas this year, having had a lovely 2020 here. Chris is communicative and made it easy to plan and enjoy our time.

The property was very nice just not a lot to do this time of year when the weather is rainy. Very quite which was nice. The restaraunt was excellent that was on the property.

I had another great stay at this condo. It's prefect for cold winter days (although the weather was in the 50s!). Well appointed kitchen for warm drinks, fireplace, fantastic shower with tons of hot water for warming up after a day outside hiking.

This condo was perfect for us. We enjoyed easy access to the lake, a spectacular view, and a great place to stay. We highly recommend this condo.
