We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect and close to so many things!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The perfect size home for 4 and our pup. Clean (and trust me I am a stickler about cleanliness), plenty of room to spread out and comfortable beds.
Having never been to 30A, the home was a great first impression to all the area has to offer. It was the perfect quiet community about 2 miles from Rosemary and just over a mile to Alys. The other direction takes you to the Big Chill (about 1.3 miles) and more great eateries. Some of our favorites were Ambrosia (more of a fine dining experience), Mimmo's, Cafe 30A, Cowgirl Kitchen, George's and Tommy Bahama's (in Sandestin).
We had two small hiccups:
1) The VRBO listing noted beach items that the property manager's listing did not -- one of which was beach chairs. The true beach chair that was on property was broken and I reached out via phone to request a new one along with another (vs. the straight up and down/tall chair that was there). The person I spoke with was a bit combative noting beach chairs were not included. I text the listing on VRBO that noted they were to the property manager and they were quick to get someone over to replace the broken chair and include another one, which we appreciated.
2) Internet/TV Service. I’ve seen numerous prior reviews noting the same and it was mostly non-existent for us. We restarted the box and it helped toward the end of our stay. Cable would be better than Roku TV’s in our opinion for renters, easier for all.
We'd come back in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing stay here! The house is in a great location, it was clean, close to the pool, and beach! Our only critique is the WIFI is in and out so we had difficulties streaming movies. Also note the beach access across the street leads you to a private beach, so you must walk a bit down to the public beaches when entering through that gate. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sans Souci! Thank you 30A Escapes!

Overall perfect
Besides all the workers surrounding us with their saws, music, and chatter, it was good.

Very comfortable home that allows a dog. Thank you!
Nice rental property that needs to have the decking off the master bedroom resurfaced as it is flaking and then gets tracked into the bedroom-rendering the deck unusable.

DIY Vacation
Sans Souci was a lovely home, but staying there as guests was more than a little disappointing. The front porch had not been swept, and the furniture, looking worn with tables in need of repair/replacement, had not been cleaned off. We got inside and started turning on lights, and discovered that all undercounter lights above the stove were not working. Light above shower in hallway was burned out, as was one of the lights on stairway leading upstairs. We called and someone came out right away - he said that the kitchen bulbs were not burned out. The power had been cut from the power source, so there was nothing he could do. As a result, it was very dark cooking as the overhead lighting was insufficient to allow you to see food on the cooktop well. We walked upstairs to the master bedroom, and found that our view out of the French doors led to a set of doors lying on the patio floor. Upon entering the master bath, we saw that the French doors that had replaced the one out on the patio floor had not even been installed completely. The mfr. decals and instructions were still glued onto the doors, and the trim around them had not even been painted. Once again, we called, and the response was quick.Men came out and secured the discarded door to the railing of the patio. We decided to ride the provided bicycles, only to discover that all 3 had tires that were almost flat. Once again, we called and the response was quick - someone came out and got the tires inflated. The next day, we took trash to the 2 large trash cans outside, only to discover that they were completely full and smelly. We had to take both to the curb on trash day - it was obvious that they had not been emptied in weeks.
The house was very well appointed and we enjoyed the location. However, for the price we paid, we should not have had to experience any of the above mentioned issues. The whole idea of vacation is to relax and not have to do a thing. I hope that the owner and mgmt. company will remedy these types of issues for other guests. (Photos of issues available upon request.)

Sensational Sans Souci I ❤️You!
Well maintained, beautiful, clean & very comfortable property! Really praying it’s open next time we want to spend time on 30a.

Lovely home
Great home! Clean, had everything you could need. Very close to beach access. Only issue was that you aren’t allowed to set up on the beach near access point. You have to go to the public access and set up there. Felt misleading with having had a code for private access.

Great stay
The management company was wonderful. I feel the house could have a little bit cleaner as far as floors and couches. However, we booked very last minute and I know it is peak busy season. Also, the kitchen was a bit dark and it appeared some bulbs were out. We did not call about the lights or I’m certain they would have rushed over. This property is right across the street from the beach access which was lovely. I will say if you are traveling with grandparents, know that the stairs are very steep and a long way up and down. Also, they are very narrow so if a group is coming up or down at the same time, someone has to wait. It wasn’t a big deal though because you are right across from the beach.

A great getaway
We loved staying here. The house was lovely - conveniently located and tastefully decorated. We had a little trouble initially with access codes - not to the actual house, but pool, etc. However, any time we had an issue or question the management company answered the phone and helped us with whatever. I would definitely recommend this place!

Hakuna Matata = Sans Souci ❤️
We absolutely loved Sans Souci! The home was perfect in every way! Couple minutes walk to beach and 30 second walk to the pool. Our girls road bikes to ALYS and Rosemary frequently. Magnolia area was perfect too! All great things to say and we recommend this property highly!! Thank you !!! J & J

Perfect week
We’ve stayed in many different properties along 30-A for the last 30 years and have often driven by Magnolia but never stayed there. However we likely will be coming back after a perfect week. It’s close enough to every place of interest but without the crowds of many other places.

House has a good layout, was clean and nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms nicely stocked. Living space was also nice. Kitchen is stocked (no spices) but knives need to be either replaced or sharpened. Upon Arrival quickly noticed that 3 of the kitchen lights (above stove and sink) were not working. Reported same day to property manager and after 3 days of waiting fixed on our own (burned out bulbs replaced from hardware store). Lights under the cabinet are still not working.Major disappointment was the advertised pool was closed/under major long term construction but we were never notified. This was a major factor in the decision to rent this location. Once again no response from the property manager when asked for details. Overall the house itself is nice and structurally sound, however the experience is hampered by false advertising (pool availability) and poor property management.

Sans Souci
The house itself was as good as advertised, and we loved it. The check-in process could have been better, as our access code wasn't provided on time, and the pool and beach access codes provided were incorrect. Aside from working with the property management company, we loved our stay.

Great family vacation!
Sans Souci was a perfect place for my family to enjoy 30A while on Spring Break. The home was immaculate and well situated for getting to the beach, Rosemary or The Hub. My family will definitely be returning to this wonderful home. Thank you to all who made our stay so perfect!

Perfect
We were here for work for 20 days. The place was clean, well-furnished with a well-stocked kitchen. Loved the decor and the conveniences like the printer and paper, (didnt use it but nice to know it was available) made it feel like a home away from home. And the property manager, Stephanie, is on top of her job! Give her a raise!

Spring Break, but without all the crowds
Love this house!! We had 3 adults and 4 teenagers traveling for Spring Break. The adults had a relaxing time and the kids had fun and with plenty to do while away from the house and also at the house. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has a wonderful front porch, great place to sit, relax and enjoy the quiet neighborhood. The interior is beautifully decorated and is very inviting. The furniture and beds are comfortable and the home had everything we needed and then some. The beach area is beautiful, not overly crowded and just a short walk across 30A. One of our favorite things about the house is the location. It is close enough to everything, but also away from the more crowded areas. Downtown Seacrest/Rosemary Beach are only about 2 miles and Seaside about 6 miles away. Teenagers liked these areas and we loved the easy bike rides to both! Grocery store within a 10 minute drive, Pier Park may be a 15 minute drive. Sans Souci is a wonderful name for this home because you truly have “no worries” while there. We look forward to coming back!

The perfect beach house in a wonderful location!
Two families of 3 enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this house. My family has stayed in this neighborhood twice before and although we had already had two good experiences renting in this area, this home was probably our favorite and we will attempt to stay here again for our next beach vacation. It is spacious, clean, has a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable living space, is tastefully decorated and also has a great front porch. It is so convenient to the beach access and we biked into Rosemary and Alys twice while we were there. 3 bikes were included with the rental! This neighborhood is fairly quiet but is so convenient to everything you could possibly want to do at the beach. We love this area and this home! Thanks for an awesome weekend!

First Rental Experience
This was our second family trip to Florida and our first rental experience versus the traditional hotel/resort vacations we typically take and it was absolutely fantastic. The house was wonderful! It was clean, updated, relaxed and roomy. We loved the front porch and enjoyed sitting outside and having coffee most mornings in addition to winding down and relaxing in the evenings after a day at the beach.
We really enjoyed having a house versus a hotel room because the house gave us all the comforts of home. The living room was cozy for the nights we relaxed and watched a little TV. A full kitchen along with a full size dining room table was perfect for the times we wanted to eat in. It was nice that the kitchen came equipped with dinnerware and cookware so all we had to do was make a quick trip to the grocery store.
The sleep quarters were well thought out. There was a queen bedroom suite with private full bath as well as an upstairs master suite with a private balcony! Our two boys (age 10 and 12) loved having the bunk room as their private hangout and the house is equipped with WiFi to stay connected. They were even able to hook up there Xbox One! Although there was an Xbox 360 already at the house along with many other board games. .
The location is centrally located. We were a short drive, walk or bike from beautiful sites, restaurants, and entertainment, etc. We would recommend using the house bikes to ride a short way down the street to buy donuts from the local donut truck. The kids loved them. Just be sure to go early; when they sell out that’s it. The rental also included gated access to the beach which we were blown away with. The sand was deep and white and the water was crystal clear. We enjoyed many beautiful sunsets there.
When you consider renting this terrific, comfortable house, the location of it, the beach and having everything at the house you need compared to the typical hotel style vacation it is really a no brainer from and accommodation and cost standpoint! The house is an A+ and we will definitely re-rent this property for our next trip to Florida. We are already planning our next stay and just trying to decide if it will be March or June!

Excellent Beach Vacation
San Souci was everything we could want for a relaxing family vacation at the beach. It has a great location right in the heart of the upscale and beautiful east end of 30A. We found the neighborhood to be very casual and laid back without the crowds you find in some of the nearby larger communities. The house is only a short walk from the beach and the pool is only a few lots down. The beach here is amazing! We loved the outdoor shower for cleaning the sand off after our fun days in the sun.
The house was plenty spacious enough for 5 adults and a toddler, even with all the toys that came with our little one. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we could need. They have plenty of board games and books to keep you entertained while indoors. The large front porch with all its seating made for some very enjoyable evenings. I cannot think of anything I would do to improve San Souci. My only regret was having to return home.

Absolutely Fabulous Seaside Vacation Spot
We had a delightful stay at this comfortable, immaculate cottage that had all of the amenities of home including a fully equipped kitchen and comfy beds. My husband, three teenage boys and I had a blast and highly recommend staying here. We were able to host the extended family to dinner and put the grill to good use to feed 10 hungry mouths. This was the best beach house we ever visited.
In this area, the beach is gorgeous but there are not many public access spots – we were so pleased that there was one right at the end of our lane. It was a breeze to take the beach chairs (you can either take theirs or there is a rental service that is posted on the frig that will set you up with chairs and umbrellas if you want the full-service treatment) and all the water/beach toys to the beach. The beach was wide with soft white sand, warm shallow gulf water, and we always were able to set up right along the water. The boys enjoyed the pool, made good use of the boogie-boards (there were plenty of water toys available in the bin on the front deck) and biked all along the area on the bike path. One of the first vacations I did not have to chase them away from the TV – and the TV, sound systems and internet were top notch. There were board and card games for us to enjoy in the evenings. We were able to bike to the yummy local restaurants and explore the cute neighboring towns. Fishing was close by – we rented a boat and brought back ten king mackerel and 54 snapper. We froze the fish that we didn’t eat during the week in the freezer and brought it back to Colorado. And you can rent paddleboards -- we had a hoot paddling the gulf.
I always though Florida was buggy but not here. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the porches and enjoying the fresh air in this laid-back community. This is a place you can go to relax or stay busy with all of the fun sports that come along with the gulf. We jogged the beach, body surfed, played paddleball and frisbee on the beach, snorkeled, fished, and had an amazingly good time. I can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic Family Vacation
My family and I spent a week here in mid July. Had an absolutely terrific time. It's a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. We had both waves and calm weather - easy and safe to swim. Had a ball with our paddleboards. My wife and I would run the beach in the morning. Rode our bikes down to the cool little downtown area for drinks and dinner. Chartered a fishing boat out of Panama City and caught a cooler full of mackerel and snapper. House itself was perfect - great kitchen and grill for cooking, comfortable sitting areas inside and out. Great bedrooms, everything where you expected it to be. Totally recommend it.

The perfect beach retreat!
Now that we have vacationed at the San Souci house in Seacrest beach we don’t want to stay anywhere else! My husband and I took our two children and their nanny for a week in May and this house provided us with plenty of space and privacy. The decor is simply outstanding; the pictures on the website are spot on. It was very clean and well stocked with nice linens, dishes and appliances. The electronics worked perfectly and the Wi-Fi did as well – no problems whatsoever! Our favorite spot was relaxing on the shaded front porch that’s landscaped for privacy on an already quiet street. With two small children, the convenience to the pool was ideal and the beach is a quick two minute stroll and worth every step! We have been to this area many times and stayed at different places but this cottage is by far the best. Our only regret is that we didn’t have longer than a week to stay!

AMAZING!
Before I even begin the review let me start by saying I am counting down the days until our school calendar is released so we can beginning planning our next Spring Break adventure. Perfect beach access. Cute little community that allows for the kids to play and bike in the street. Easy bike ride into Rosemary Beach (if I can do it anyone can do it!) Seaside is just down the road. The house is well appointed with plenty of space. The bunk room is awesome for the kids. Great front porch for sitting. I would recommend this place to ANYONE. Young families, romantic getawayers, families with teenagers, Girls Weekenders...etc. Wonderful kitchen for anyone wishing to cook. BBQ grill outside for the burger lover. I really can not think of a more perfect place. Looking forward to heading back next year. Oh and the beach is perfect. Not too busy not too quite and the best sunsets on the beach.

clean and very comfortable, great location as well
This cottage was the perfect size for my family and friends. It was clean and updated and nicely decorated. The amount of storage for food in the kitchen was amazing, and the walk-in closets in the bedrooms were perfect. We loved the location as well...just steps from the beach and pool. The street was easy for the kids to ride bikes or throw a football, and the people around us were very friendly.

Great for Multiple Families, Love the Beach!
My two children, their spouses and my three grandchildren all stayed at this cottage over
the holiday and enjoyed every minute! Having two good sized bedrooms with private
bathrooms and a bunk room with a bathroom across the hall suited our party perfectly.
The two couples were able to settle into separate spaces and the kids had a blast sharing a room with me. The kitchen and dining areas were large enough for all of us to prepare meals and eat together. The kitchen and home were well stocked, so all we really needed to purchase was our food for the week. We also enjoyed hanging out together in the living and dining areas and never felt crowded. This area of 30A is just delightful. So many child friendly restaurants, shops, and activities were within minutes of the home. I loved seeing my grandchildren building sand castles and playing football at the beach, swimming in the heated pool, and running and riding bikes through the neighborhood and the 30A pathway. They even went for a Ranger led hike at Grayton State Park. I have become accustomed to staying in beachfront condos, so I was cautious about staying across the street from the beach. Really though, the beach is so close that it was not a big deal to take the short walk. I could have my toes in the sand quicker than in some of the beachfront condos we've stayed in previously. Walks on the beach are always at the top of my to do list on vacation. The beach is breathtaking, especially at sunset, and I found beautiful and interesting scenery walking east and west along the ocean. I would absolutely love to visit this area and cottage again!

Perfect vacation location!
Our family loved staying at this cottage! The beach and the pool are so close to the house, and the community is situated in a great place on 30A. The kids had fun riding bikes in the neighborhood, to the donut truck in Alys Beach and to the Sugar Shack in Rosemary Beach. Rosemary, Seacrest, Seaside, Watercolor, Destin and Panama City are close by and offer all the shopping and dining options we could want, with a short trip home to the quaint cottage. The beach is gorgeous and so much less crowded than other bigger communities. Since it was too cold to get in the ocean, we really enjoyed the heated pool. We felt so at home and relaxed in the nicely decorated cottage, and everything we could possibly want was available. We used the grill one night for local seafood, and the kitchen had exactly what we needed to cook an amazing meal. Everyone slept great in the comfortable beds, and we loved playing games, watching movies and sports, and laid back, cozy mornings in the cottage. The wireless internet access, printer and bluetooth speakers were also appreciated. Along 30A are so many family friendly events, shops, and restaurants that we already have a list of places to explore on our next visit. We can't wait for our next trip to this beach cottage…a little slice of heaven.

What a delight!
Our family couldn't have been more relaxed at this well-equipped home in Watercolor. Our fourth trip to Watercolor for Thanksgiving and we still discovered how lovely it is to visit this scenic location. This particular house was relaxing because there was so many amenities available to us. Also, the house was well-equipped and that made our stay grand as well. When I say well equipped, we had a wonderful dishwasher and so we used only dishes. The pots and pans were lovely and easy to clean. The whole kitchen environment was well thought through for this family.
When the warm weather changed, we flipped on the fireplaces and enjoyed the ambiance of sitting "by the fireplace". What a life for one week!
