We loved staying here!! The house was great, just enough space for all of us to have some separation but still be together!! The only comment I would make is the walk to and from the lake to the house was a bit hard, especially once our feet were wet from the lake. Bring good shoes to wear down there!! Overall though everything was wonderful!!

This was the second time we've stayed in Emma's home. The cabin is beautiful, the location lovely and Emma responded quickly to a problem we had that was not any fault of hers. We had a wonderful week and would highly recommend this home to anyone... As long as they didn't want to reserve it for the date I wanted it :)

My husband and my son and his fiancé had a lovely week at the cabin with our two dogs. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the dining table is roomy. The view of the lake from the large deck is lovely. Access to the lake was a bit difficult (it was kind of steep and, in damp weather, slick). But once we figured out how to keep the dogs on the deck, we all enjoyed our time outside. The air conditioning was helpful when it got warm out.

We were very happy with our stay and the owner was great with communications. Surrounding area great for families or if you just want to relax. The overall could have been a 5, but decided to make it a little lower due to the extreme number of spiders and cobwebs upon arrival. Overall a beautiful place and would recommend it.

This property is a great base from which to take advantage of hiking and other outings in New Hampshire. Enjoyed the kayaks and canoe as well as the fire pit!

While our stay was cut short by some unfortunate weather, we had a lovely visit to the cabin for the holidays. The cabin was very clean and festively decorated for our arrival. We had no issues communicating with the hosts through the weather situation and they were very gracious and fair throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The property was everything we had hoped it would be - comfortable "woodsy" living space, 3 private bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms, an outdoor fire ring (s'mores were delicious), and even kayaks for the lake. We had a terrific time, and the fall leaves were spectacular. Emma was great to work with, quick to communicate, and very accommodating to our needs. Our stay was all-around wonderful.

We rented the lake house for the weekend last year…loved it so much we rented it this year for a week…made some great memories…the only draw back was 2 days of construction going on next door (a little agitating).

We arrived on a Saturday, the drive to the cabin was beautiful. When we arrived and opened the door we were very pleased. The place was clean and open. The water views from all 3 decks were so serene. We had fires down by the water and enjoyed just looking out. Emma was very responsive to any questions we had. We went kayaking and saw ducks on the water, we saw a beaver and many turkey families. We also enjoyed quiet evenings cooking on the grill and sitting outside. We are going to book our next vacation at Emma’s cottage because of that home feeling we got as soon as we arrived. Can’t wait for next year to come.

My wife and two kids (ages 3, 6) had an idyllic week at the house! Such a nice and quiet lake away from the hustle of the more populated southern NH lakes. Would certainly come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in August. Emma is great with friendly communication. Highlights were s'mores around the fire pit, the lake beach nearby, the swimming hole with waterfall and many hiking opportunities. We also went to Littleton for for a day of strolling and shopping and ate at the Shilling Brewery.

We have been renting Emma’s property for a family summer getaway for a few years now, and we are never disappointed! Emma is accommodating and fantastic to communicate with. The location is great - you can sit on the dock and enjoy the view, kayaks or fishing, or venture off to the beach area a short drive away. Each year we head home thankful to have had a place like this to enjoy a little downtime, some laughs, and to reconnect with each other.

Fantastic Winter Escape
We had such a lovely time at this property for Christmas. Everything was covered with snow and it snowed on Xmas day! Emma was super communicative and nice and told us everything we needed to know. There’s a Shaw’s grocery 10 mins away for all your food needs. We had a lovely time there and enjoyed all the house had to offer. Would love to stay again!

Great- and much needed- family time!
This property was so perfect for our family to take a few days off of the school and activities hustle that three kids bring. Emma was the best- since it was Thanksgiving we had so many questions about kitchen supplies and she not only answered everything right away but also provided us with an early check-in and late check-out. The house is immaculate with everything you need for a relaxing special time with your family- fireplace, walks around the lake, seclusion- and convenience to stores and small towns to explore. We cannot wait to stay there gain!

Wonderful Use of Space!
The property is beautiful and the multiple decks are a great place to host or get away and hang. The kayaks are a blast and while we were there in October, the wood burning stove got plenty of use. We plan to do this trip annually and will 100% be considering Emma's property again!

Lovely Lake House
Beautiful, clean and peaceful with a gorgeous view of the lake. The grandsons and their mother loved the kayaks. My husband ended up staying home with our corgi so I would have loved to gotten my pet deposit returned but it's not a deal-breaker. I'd highly recommend this vacation home to anyone.

Definitely a beautiful location with many wonderful things to do. Quiet and peaceful. I would come back for sure! House was awesome and spacious. Loved the decks and view. Dock, fishing, and kayaking was ideal. Property is very hilly so could be difficult for some people walking up and down. Owner was super helpful in answering any questions and very accommodating. We hope to return next year!

Third time is a charm!
This was our third year choosing Emma’s property for our family vacation, and it was as wonderful as ever. The location is the perfect balance of relaxing yet close enough to activities and restaurants. We just love the deck (actually all 3 of them!) overlooking the beautiful lake. Each year there seems to be a few improvements to the property. This year it was a bear bear proof trash bin (very helpful in garbage management), a new grill and clothes dryer. Emma is so wonderful to deal with, and we will likely be looking at dates for next year!

This house is a perfect spot for sipping coffee while watching the morning dew burn off the lake, to kayak, to take a nice jog around or to simply refuel. We can’t wait to visit again.

This was a very cute home in a great location, with a friendly host. It was close to many of the outdoors activities and great hikes that we love to do, and the view from the deck was beautiful. The only downside was that we happened to be there during an extremely buggy time. The bugs were so bad that it made it nearly impossible to enjoy the lovely yard and deck. I imagine that other times of year would be great, though. I would stay here again, during a less buggy time of year :)
