The outdoors especially is amazing! Truly wonderful for all ages. From playing in the sand to running on the beach or simply wading out for ages. Paddle boarding was also fun. Hanging out on the decks .. Time went too fast. Also close to Grace Bay for shops and food.

Second time in two years at Caribbaway. Idyllic setting and cannnot wait to return.

Located right on the beach if one of the best kite surf locations in the world. The house is expansive, relaxed and accommodating Perfect for large groups and large families. It was a welcome paradise during difficult covid times. Thank you for an amazing stay!

My husband and I love to kite surf and come to Long Bay ever year to get away, just us. Covid presented us with an opportunity to bring our family and we feel very blessed to have found pandemic paradise for our large family at Carribaway.

The house is wonderfully expansive, with plenty of room for our extended family of 9 to spread out, yet come together for meals and games every evening. The beach is unbelievable, with such a gradual slope that you can walk out hundreds of yards and still only be up to your shoulders in water. Our 7yr old grandson absolutely loved the beach. The house was well maintained; Nadio is always available for whatever you need. Our stay was at in mid-March, just as the conona pandemic was ramping up in the US, so it was good to be in a fairly separated spot along your own stretch of soft, tan-sand beach. The internet connection can be a bit spotty, and went out entirely for the last couple days of the trip, which was a bit problematic when trying to stay on top of business and events back home. We had a great time nonetheless and would highly recommend this house for any large group. We hope we can stay there again when the world gets back to some degree of normalcy.

This is our 4th year to stay at Caribbaway. We love the beautiful property that is right on the beach. The vast property has plenty of room for group meals and plenty of space spend time reading and relaxing! We can't wait until 2021!

We truly enjoyed our stay!! The main house, two private and separated rooms with kitchenettes, hot tub, direct private beach access and abundance of beach tools/toys were awesome. It is true, this is the more windy side of the beach, but the water is beautiful and waves typically weren't bad at all. There were other reviews which mentioned the decking and other things which we questioned, but the deck seems to have been completely replaced! It was just beautiful!

Our family of 6 had a fantastic time at Carribbaway last week. The house has a beautiful view of the ocean and is quite large. We liked the privacy of the two annexes and the large family area in the main house. Kitchen is large and functional. The gazebos offer lovely beach viewing in the shade and the hot tub was a nice touch for evening warms ups after kiting or swimming. If you are kiters, there is a self launch post right there and the bottom is lovely sand - no rocks at that spot. Everything was as advertised and we look forward to the next time we can stay.

The villa was amazing! What a lovely property on a heavenly site... We wanted to share a Caribbean experience with our son, our daughter, their spouses, our 5 grand-children, and a couple of friends...most of whom had never been to the islands. How lucky we were to choose Caribbaway. We had a marvellous time that all will remember forever. Thank you for making your home ours for the past week. We are forever grateful.

My family and our good friends stayed the week of New Year's. The beachfront was beautiful and very private. We enjoyed some home cooked meals at Carribaway, dips in the Caribbean, and a few local excursions. Thank you Nadio and Amanda for supporting us. Thank you Colin and Christina for sharing your home.

We thoroughly enjoyed the property. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. The beach front is simply AMAZING! Very easy to get around to other parts of the island for excursions, dining, shopping etc. Enjoyed having a private beach with all the extras. Highly recommended by our family.

The house location was perfect for our extended family (13 of us). The 2 annexes gave the grandparents and a mom/dad/baby good separation from the others. We preferred the low-key Long Bay Beach locale to the Grace Bay area. All of that said, there were some things we were a little disappointed by: the house was not well supplied with items we thought would be there. Inquiring ahead we knew not to expect shower soaps or shampoos and brought our own. But we were surprised that there weren’t enough supplies such as toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher soap, or paper towels to last our 5 day stay. The equipment and toys for the beach and water were pretty rough and in poor shape. We would have purchased kid beach toys to use, but we were there in July when the beach is continually covered with seaweed/kelp. We know it was off-season, but some other properties along the beach did have someone who raked the seaweed from the beach. That would have been nice. Last negative comment is that the decks (lovely outdoor spaces) need some maintenance. There are nail or screw heads sticking up too far from the wood (a 2-year old put a gash in his foot on one). So, in summary, it was a great large house on a wonderful beach and, at the lower end of cost for a rental, a perfect location. The house and decks need some work (we are aware that the hurricane in 2017 took its toll on everything on the island). This was a one-time large family get-together on an island paradise, and we all came away with very fond memories of our time at Caribbaway.

My family of six and another family of six vacation every year in the carribean. This was our absolute favorite house / island! The house location is one of the best in TCI. Everything is 15 minutes away or less. We loved waking up everyday and having coffee at the gazebo overlooking the ocean. (There are two gazebos and a hot tub feet from the ocean.). Then we would play in the ocean (right down the steps in our backyard). The ocean temp had to be at least 85 degrees and the gradule depth change made it possible for our 4 kids to play / snorkel safely all day. Then we’d grill lunch on one of the two grills overlooking the ocean. We’d repeat for dinner! The biggest / best grocery store is only 7 mins away! We did excursions all over the island including Grace Bay, but we liked “our beach” better. It was warmer, shallower, quieter, and we had all the toys. (House comes with 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks). Nadio, the caretaker was in the area if we ever needed him and he answered dozens of questioning of where to go and what to do. If you can book this property, Do not hesitate!!

This was our second stay, and we will be back. The space works great. The outdoor decking and beach front is amazing. With young kids, there are absolutely no worries. We kayaked, paddle boarded, snorkeled (and even saw a shark in the white sand!). It’s easier to launch a kite a bit down the beach, but it’s a doable walk.

Ocean breezes, a wonderful beach, blue waters, the house is very roomy and comfortable. Management is great and will assist you with whatever you need. The best part is relaxing on one of the many porches. I will not forget the views and quiet peacefulness I enjoyed at Carribaway!

We stayed in December of 2017 and the first guests after the hurricanes of the fall of 2017. They did a tremendous job getting the place ready for our stay. Amanda was great in communicating and Nadio was helpful when we needed assistance while staying there. The beach and location of the house are fantastic. The proximity to restaurants and shops was nice (it is a short drive). The house itself was described very well by one of our friends we were vacationing with: “It’s not the Ritz”. The house itself is clean but it slightly dated. The amenities were nice, but if you are looking for luxury you will likely be disappointed with this house. The annexes which are newer are very nice and much more luxurious. Overall we had a great stay, we were not disappointed in any way, we found the place to be a nice value for what we paid.
