The house is exactly as pictured and so very well equipped. The extras, such as beach towels, burn cream, and scissors made our stay seamless. We loved sitting at the island and visiting in the mornings and evenings. Beautiful place, we will be back!

We had 3 families stay at this house. It was just perfect, all the kids had so much fun and the adults enjoyed all of the amenities. We took advantage of the golf cart rental which was across the street from the house, I highly recommend that. The house was a very short walk to the beach which was perfect since we basically lived at the beach during our stay. Mike was very attentive and answered my ongoing questions very quickly. He had everything that we could possibly need from beach equipment to so many towels to extensive kitchen appliances. We would definitely stay at this home again, so many great memories made!

Considering the property is not beachfront, it was the next best thing. We had everything we needed. The host was absolutely accommodating in every way. Great communications, friendly, responsive, and gracious. There is a golf cart rental across the street so I recommend if there is a need to make a reservation, they book quickly. Nice, quiet neighborhood, with all the comforts of home away from home.

We had a great time at this beach house. There were 3 families with kids and we all had a good time. Beach is walking distance and we used the beach cart to get the various items to the beach. The beach towels and they are plenty, beach toys, beach chairs were all super helpful. The portable speaker was amazing to play music on the beach The house itself was comfortable. We also spent a good time on the deck with barbeque and some family fun All in all a great rental for families

We absolutely loved the house. Everything was labeled and Alexa was set up to control everything so we weren't searching for light switches. The place was so pretty, well stocked on bedding and towels. We loved everything about it and hope to make it a yearly trip❤️

Could not have asked for more! This house was so comfortable, clean, well stocked with everything you might need. Felt like home right away. The water filter was a game changer for surfside and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for the week. Owner was so helpful and responsive and willing to help with any questions we had. Def will be returning asap.

I needed a week away from work to just sit on the beach and do absolutely nothing! This beach house made that possible! The house had everything we could think of to relax in the house and at the beach. The distance from the house to the beach was perfect! The view was even better! Really was everything I was needing in my week away, and then some!

This was our first experience taking our kiddos to the beach and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. The house was so well thought out- perfect for kids and adults. We could’ve left half of the things we packed and been accommodated…the owners have thought of everything! The check in/out process was very simple and the owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and responsive. We had zero complaints about the place and will be booking it again in the future! We loved everything about the house. I was so happy the kitchen had everything we needed to cook/grill. Beach was steps away and the kids preferred to walk vs driving. Mike was great at communicating with us.

Where do I begin!!! From the moment we made reservations until time we returned home Mike kept in touch, shared suggestions and kept us informed through it all! Sometimes heading out on vacation we tend to keep life's busyness in mind. But the moment I walked in this beach home- my vacay mode turned on! Alexa had the perfect music playlist that put us all in the mood for vacation. We had an awesome beach view from the patio and upstairs bedroom. I would wake up in the morning to check from bedroom window if the beach was getting busy with set-ups - if so we would walk down and post up camp then walk back for breakfast. This beach house was great for the grandkids. The bunk room was a big hit for a 3 year girl who did not put up a fuss when it was bed time. The shuffle board upstairs kept our 5 year old entertained and the corn hole kept the big kids competitive with music on the patio! One of my favorite was the kitchen- spacious for cooking while the kids sat around the large table to eat and play board games. Just perfect space for a family get together. This house is well equiped-everything we needed was there and available! Ohh, let me not forget the friendly neighbors. The coolest neighbor next door said- put on some music and have fun- of course we did as we were told! :-) Mike- thank you again for sending my daughters earbuds she left behind! That was not required- but you went that extra mile once we returned home. Thanks for sharing you beach home- would for sure stay here again. Patricia & clan!!!

Awesome place right next to the beach

The property was everything the owner said it would be. We had a lovely time with family in a nice house close to the beach and some good restaurants. Would 100% stay here again.

The property was gorgeous and it was a lot closer to the beach than I initially thought. The host was very quick to respond and very hospitable. This was our first vacation rental and we would stay here again. The house was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, the street was quiet. It was like having a private beach to ourselves. 10/10

Everything was perfect! Great location. Home was lovely and our host couldn’t have been more accommodating! It was the perfect place for our family Christmas! Highly recommend!

We loved the giant deck to enjoy the view of the ocean and the close location to the beach for walks anytime. The kitchen island was big enough for us to work a puzzle at one end and cook and eat at the other. Mike was a most helpful host. We had an easy entry with a coded lock and an Alexa device with information about the house. Mike made sure we had enough filtered drinking water. We could reach him easily when we had a question. These things and all the other details mentioned in the property description made our beach Thanksgiving absolutely perfect.

I love this property. Second time renting. Always look forward to coming back! It’s very cozy and always clean when we arrive you can tell the owners put love in their home away from home. Love the sounds and views of the ocean at night. It’s a perfect place for a kiddo to have fun and is a very short walk to the beach. Can’t wait to come back to make more memories!

Although this was a birthday experience for my 7yr old twins and my 9 year old, the adults did not feel left out. We arrived to a personalized message and a bottle of wine. The owner also set the Alexa system to wish my kids a happy birthday. There was a digital visitor photo album so we could see past visitors and add in our own memories. The pink bedroom was enough for my daughter, she was super excited and gushed over the pink stuffed flamingos. My boys loved the loft and the shuffle board. At ages 9 and 7 they made up their own rules and played many games up there. We stayed for 5 days, not once did any of the 3 children pick up their tablets! They didn't even ask for them. I honestly think the owner thought of everything. Sand toys, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, nice quality shampoo, conditioner, and soaps. Even condiments and spices. To go containers. Huge lush beach towels. Some of my favorite extras were the counter top ice maker, the filtered water dispenser with water supplied !, and the giant fridge. The owner was very friendly and easy to talk with. Answered all questions quickly and made us feel like we were just borrowing a friend beach house. I grew up on Galveston beaches, but I'm 100% sold on Surfside now. Everyone was so friendly.

We had several family members come down fo stay with us while we were in town. It sleeps very comfortable. All the supplies you need was available and the beach was just short walk. I will recommend this places to friends and family. Mike was very nice and communicated with us so that our stay was everything we wanted. I would only recommend a umbrella or shade cover over the deck. Thank you.

Everything was absolutely fabulous. Plenty of room for my family of 6. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything you need. Beds were comfortable and the deck was perfect for grilling, eating al fresco, and relaxing in the sun. Great views of the beach and a short walk away.The only negative which is not a reflection of the house or owner was the mosquitoes. Maybe just the time of year but Mike even had the house stocked with bug spray, sunscreen, and aloe vera. Boogie boards and sand toys were a nice addition. He was quick to respond to any questions and definitely takes great care to ensure his guests will be comfortable during the stay as well as keeping the property up.I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with the choice of this property plus he offers a very fair rate for everything that is included.
