I love this side of the island. Luquillo Beach is my favorite and this was central to other hot tourists sites like El Yunque, Old San Juan and more. The host was very easy to get a hold of, helpful and responsive. Would stay again.

While the owner was friendly and understanding and offered a partial refund the first night hoping power would return, we were unable to stay at the property for the duration of our trip to PR and had to make alternate arrangements. We have a 17month old and didn't have the luxury of waiting to see if power/water would return. The property mgmt also didn't seem to communicate with the owner when power did return on Sunday or throughout process. At this point, as we left the property Thursday morning we don't feel the owner should make profit on this trip given we weren't able to stay there. We're happy to cover cleaning/re rental costs but a further refund should've been offered. Also have ur cleaning team check ur air-conditioners filters and fans from time to time, they were covered in an inch of dirt/dust - we cleaned them for you upon check in.

This is my second time staying at Miriam’s property. It is simply perfect and my sisters and I had a wonderful relaxing much needed vacation. Location is great, apt has two bedrooms, 2 baths, and everything in between. Leaky mornings and evenings and the balcony with spectacular view and easy access to the beach. Linens, bath and beach towels, beach chairs, full kitchen, games, and the right amount of relaxing space. Additionally, Miriam is an excellent communicator and makes everything really easy. I’m sorry to leave but I will be back.

The unit itself was comfortable and had an amazing view. The host was also super nice and responsive when we had questions. However it appears that Azul buildings are not well maintained, maybe from the hurricane a couple years ago. The pool appeared to have been redone but there was only 6 plastic lounge chairs and the pool area was pretty dirty. Tennis courts were in no condition to be used. Ultimately we decided to leave the unit two nights early to stay elsewhere on the island.

The condo was extremely well supplied with basics plus things like detergent, some refreshments, a bottle of wine, and too many other staples too numerous to mention. The hosts were available with prompt answers. The location was superb, furniture was comfortable, and the views gorgeous. and within walking distance to restaurants, groceries, etc. What’s there not to like? We would come back and stay again without questions.

Our family had an amazing vacation. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. As a family with young kids we appreciated that there was a boogie board, sand toys, beach chairs and a cooler that we could borrow. The kitchen was well equipped and renovated, as were the bathrooms. Miriam was super responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

This property has recently been renovated, and the renovations are beautiful! It has everything you need for a week, the kitchen has most tools, and there is even a full washer and dryer. Excellent place!

The apartment is on the 22nd floor, the penthouse, in a gated property, right on the beach. Free parking, free wifi, all the beach gear you might need. Spectacular views from the balcony. The beach has great sand, and also natural shade from palm trees. The gated property also has a pool. A little inconvenience is that gates to the ocean are locked at 7pm, so you need to take a car around the block to access the beach if you want an evening walk. Overall is a very nice stay.

We stayed at the condo for 5 nights during Christmas. The condo was wonderful to come back to after spending the days out exploring. It is cleaned, organized and very well equipped. Miriam was quick to respond to any questions that I had before and during the stay. The condo is gated and secured. The location is excellent and on our most favorite beach, Luquillo. We fell in love with Puerto Rico, its culture, history, and especially…the people. Everyone we met is so friendly and kind. The food is also an absolute hit! Puerto Rico has a place in our hearts. We are already planning to come back and would not hesitate to rent Miriam’s condo again. Thank you again for everything.

Beautiful ocean view! Condo has everything you need for a great stay. Restaurants, shopping, El Yunque National Forest and other attractions within a 5 to 10 minute drive. Definitely staying at this property again.

Owners are super nice and attentive. We treated their home just like it was our own. We loved the place and we’ll stay there again when we come back!

Miriam was an amazing host and she has a beautiful soul. She made sure our stay was great, safe and was extremely accommodating. Answered every call and question. She even took time to help us plan activities. We were extremely happy with the penthouse it was beautiful and cleanly. She has everything you would need for a nice beach day. The property was as described, and the view of Playa Azul is amazing. The property has everything you need for a beach vacation, including nice beach towels, chairs, etc. There was even aloe vera gel in the fridge. The beds were comfortable, and we did enjoy our stay despite not having a working oven. Things I wish were different: some sort of welcome packet describing the apartment, the area, etc. and a couple of bottles of purified drinking water upon arrival. The host was very good at communicating with us!

Where do I begin?! I don’t know which was a better experience - the vacation itself or the pleasure of getting to know Miriam and the privilege of staying in the Otero’s beautiful home away from home! I can’t say enough about either I will start with the condo: As a family of 4 (my husband, my two teenage daughters & myself) the set up and location was perfect. It was spacious enough for all of us, clean, perfect proximity to the beach and the town, safe, and provided amazing views to wake up and fall asleep to. It was the perfect combination of privacy from crowds & convenience to the experience of Puerto Rican life outside of a any “sheltered” resort environment. As far as our experience renting from the Otero’s it couldn’t have been more positive! Any questions I had, Miriam was quick to answer. We wanted to explore places outside of the “tourist traps”, & every recommendation Miriam had when I asked for her favorite local spots was on point. The level of hospitality we received from her was above and beyond, & enabled us to feel relaxed & comfortable during our whole stay. In a nutshell, anyone that rents this beautiful vacation home will not be disappointed. We are so thankful for the memories we made while there!!

Our host Miriam was outstanding and great communication. Lots of suggestions about eating out and things to do. The condo is amazing and beautiful. Everything you need is there. Definitely will stay here again when in Puerto Rico. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

My stay at Miriam’s was amazing . Just as the pictures are is how her home is. Beautiful view from balcony and steps away from the beach. Only tiny issue was the lil ants/spiders but that didn’t take away from the stay. I’d definitely stay again!

What a view.! It was marvelous to be able to get up in the morning with such a fantastic view of luquillo and the ocean. We had coffee every morning and marveled at the viewThe place was very clean and had everything for whatever adventure we felt like on that day. It was an easy commute to Fajardo, San Juan and the whole island. The luquillo beach is still one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. In addition, Miriam was always helpful and willing to answer my calls at all times. It was a great experience and we will be back again

Miriam's penthouse apartment makes for a fantastic stay in Luquillo. It's spacious, comfortable, and has a great balcony with a gorgeous view of the beach and the ocean. Several beautiful beaches are in walking distance as well as great bars and restaurants. The apartment is also very close to the famous Luquillo kiosks. It's also a short drive to Fajardo, El Yunque, and San Juan. Miriam was very responsive to any questions and gave great recommendations. She really goes out of her way to ensure you have a great stay. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Miriam was a fantastic host. The place was clean and the view is pretty epic. Tons of restaurants, entertainment, and supermarkets nearby.
