The property's location was excellent; we had guests who live in Kona (realtor) who told us we were in an "upscale" location. Proximity to the pools and beach was great! The home is well appointed, nice furnishings and appliances. Enjoyed our "home away from home"!

We had a wonderful stay with three adults and five kids. Sleeping spaces were quite flexible, beach gear was fantastic, community pool was lovely. The community had a great grocery store and access to a private beach which was the kids' favorite from the whole trip.

The property on the Mani Lani resort area is perfect allowing you to access restaurants and amenities of both the Fairmont and ManiLani resorts. The Lanai had partial ocean views. They are super responsive. We had an issue with the central air. It was handled at night on a Sunday. Couldn’t ask for more. A wonderful spot for families

Great location for a family vacation. Appreciated that the garage had bikes, chairs and more to use.

Just what online says - great property- minor quibbles easily remedied- only one wine glass - only one working beach umbrella- master bedroom had no fan remote - bbq only had one side working - other side would flame out - other than that perfect place which I would rent again

The property was in close proximity to the pool and it had adequate space for our family.

It was a lovely condo that was well stocked with everything we could want to make our stay enjoyable. It was very tastefully decorated and had a beautiful view, especially from the lanai. Our criticism is with things that were not up to par for the quality of the property. There was a extra refrigerator in the great room which we found out was there because the built in refrigerator tended not to be cold enough to keep food safe. The refrigerator looked strange sitting next to the desk, but we did end up moving our food into it. Also one end of the drapes in one of the bedrooms had torn and was hanging off the rod. It looked jarring in an otherwise lovely bedroom. The air conditioner stopped working at one point and we found out that we needed to make sure the sensor was blinking every time we closed the sliding doors, otherwise the ac would turn off. This should have been mentioned in the info in the notebook about the condo sitting on the desk.

Beautiful home with a comfortable split level living design. Bedroom, kitchen, family room and dining room upstairs, other BRs downstairs. Great lanai that was well integrated into the rest of the living space. Low back Sofas aren’t great for tall people but the dining room table was perfect and the finishings nice. COVID pool restrictions are strict - must have a mask on at all times unless in the pool itself, even when no other people are on the premises, and strictly enforced. A bit over the top - pool was virtually empty as a result - but I suppose understandable. Overall a lovely home.

The home could not have been better for our 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids) to spend the holidays. The house is perfectly located near to beaches, grocery, restaurant and all other amenities. We particularly appreciated how well outfitted the home was with beach toys, boogie boards and bikes! A truly memorable vacation

We just returned home from a week's stay at this property. We travel to Hawaii often and have stayed in the Kamilo houses before, but this was our first stay in Ohana Spirit. The house was beautiful and you have an ocean view in the distance from the lanai (only a few houses in Kamilo have ocean views). I was happy to see that there was plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, and dishwasher pods provided as well as coffee filters. There are lots of beach toys and bikes located in the garage. House is close to Mauna Lani shops and there is a grocery store there as well. Mauna Lani Beach Club is a short drive and the restaurant there is delicious. Overall I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Our family loved their stay at the Ohana Property. The instructions for arrival and finding our house was perfect. The house itself was very comfortable and we enjoyed being near the pools and beach. We really had everything we needed for the beach and for our stay. We had never rented from VRBO before, but will consider it the next time we travel for vacation. Thank you for a wonderful vacation stay.

The house was a great place to stay. Exactly as advertised. We appreciated the supplies in the kitchen and availability of beach towels and equipment. The beach club was very convenient. Pools and spa were nice to have available as well. The neighborhood is quiet and getting to ither beaches and shoos was a short drive so very reasonable for our family with older kids. Internet and TVs worked fine. The 4 lanais were all wonderful. Great property, hope to stay again.

Overall we LOVED this rental. The good: It looks brand new- beautifully done townhome in a really nice community. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms, lots of extra towels, comfortable beds and bedding, fantastic patio. It was really nice to have the chairs, towels, beach toys, bikes, etc. to use. Good location for beaches and a nice little shopping area. The not so good: The wifi in the basement didn't work well at all. Minor complaint, but the garage door opener was really touchy -- we could only get it to work when holding at knee level next to the wall-- very odd. Lastly, the recreational pool was closed during our stay-- obviously this is the community, not the rental property, but it would have been nice to know before we got there. When talking to residents it sounded like it had been closed for close to a month, so definitely something the rental manager could have warned us about.Overall we really enjoyed this property, and would recommend.

The home and location were perfect but unfortunately there were two homes under construction just outside the rear balcony so in the morning you could hear nail guns, framers talking, cement trucks and hammers. We asked the property managers in August about the construction noise and their comment was, “they were unsure when construction would start”. Owning a lumber yard we were quite aware and after speaking to the framers, the one house that was roofed and had the shear wall on, had to be started in late August when I inquired. If you want a four bedroom home close to beaches and food, this is the home for you. Decorated nicely and comfy beds. Plenty of beach towels, chairs, bikes, ice chests, etc. just make sure all construction is completed around the property so you can enjoy the outside patio in the morning.

My family of 10 stayed at the Ohana Spirit house at the Mauna Lani community for 9 days and had a wonderful stay. Location was perfect for us because it was near the beautiful beaches we love to go (Hapuna, Mauna Kea, Black sands) and the shops were nearby like Foodland. The house came well equipped with beach equipment and towels. The decor and layout of the house were also great. It’s an open floor plan on main level where we can be all together and yet there were spaces like the lanais where we can escape from one another. The beds were comfortable and there were enough towels and beddings. The only minor issue I had is that the house could have been cleaner when we arrived. For example the refrigerator and stove and hood were still greasy and the floors needed to be mopped. But it was okay for the most part. Our host was great. Jeff and his staff responded to our requests quickly and kept me informed as our trip drew near. Mahalo Jeff! We hope to return soon.

Beautiful upgraded home in a resort community. The community pool is a short walk down the street. Many beautiful beaches are a short drive away. There is construction on the highway down to Kona so plan on more time to get down there. We spent a lot of time on the north side of the island. The Mauna Kea resort a few miles north has a flood light on at night which attracts feeding manta rays. We enjoyed dinner at Manta and then walked down to see the manta rays swim. The property managers were responsive to our requests. We could have used more bath towels for the size of our party. Other than that, the house amenities provided everything else we needed. We would stay here again with a large group.

Beautiful property, well stocked and very convenient for our family group of 9. Close to grocery stores and beaches. Lovely pool and gym area. Boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, umbrellas, bikes--all provided and in good condition.

The over all impression of the house was/is beautiful. My husband has a fractured back and the furniture with the low almost no back was not at all comfortable. It wasn't really comfortable for any of the men. There was really nothing to lean against. The dining chairs where comfortable and the chairs outside where comfortable. None of the WiFi worked downstairs. If you tried to watch TV or use your own devices it was constantly resetting. Actually the TV upstairs did that too while watching Netflix.So it would play for a few minutes and then try and reset. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area is great. So relaxing. They are still building and if we had the doors and windows open you could hear the noise. But, we were in the house just next to it. I'm sure some people would not like that.(Our deck area was facing the on going construction. My last complaint would be that we had to be out by 10 am and our flight did not leave until early evening. I might stay there again and I would recommend it to my friends.

Ohana Spirit is a clean and beautifully maintained home that is thoughtfully stocked for visitors! We were pleasantly surprised at the well-equipped kitchen that was furnished with just about everything we could think of! It made preparing and enjoying our meals even more special! We loved the decor!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful vacation experience!

We had an amazing stay at Ohana Spirit. It is conveniently located, very clean and had anything we could have possibly needed during our stay (washing machine, beach cooler, towels and umbrellas, etc.). We hope to be back to stay again soon!
