This was the perfect home for our needs. Our family was visiting the area for a memorial service. The house was perfect for all 7 of us. The master bedroom with the bathroom was perfect for my elderly parents as it was very accessible for their needs. My adult children appreciated the privacy of the upstairs bedrooms with the kitchenette and TV room. Our host, Charles, was a delightful man. He and his wife live next to the property and it was so nice to visit with him out in the yard a few times. Charles also has a sweet dog named Rocky who came over to visit us a few times which I absolutely loved. Charles told us the house is 120 years old and that he grew up in the house. Oh, and the big, beautiful trees on the property were incredibly magical. I loved waking up to the sound of a bird symphony each morning. The landscaping was so lovely and added to the comfort of our stay. I highly recommend this property. I think it is the best VRBO I have ever stayed in.

My son and his wife live in Brevard. He was in a very serious accident last October and is still recovering. Your home made it possible for my family to celebrate Christmas together. It was a perfect choice for us!

Stayed two nights with 4 adults on a weekend trip to the mountains. House is huge with lots of outdoor seating options. Hosts were super helpful and responsive to all inquiries. Main bathroom downstairs is large with a low lip shower and grab bar. Upstairs is a great set up for kids. Morning coffee time was on the huge front porch with rockers and a swing, watching the white squirrels frolic. This is a house in a residential neighborhood, not a cabin in the mountains. It was a perfect in town base for our weekend adventures. Would absolutely stay here again!

The house has character. It is clean and well equipped. The upstairs bathroom needs renovating.

A charming older home with easy access to downtown Brevard and the surrounding area for hiking and biking. We had 8 adults staying here comfortably, and enjoyed the many amenities provided by the host who was responsive and attentive throughout our stay.

My husband and I held a Bridal Luncheon for our future Daughter-in-Law at this property. Although we live in the Charlotte area, she is from the Asheville area as are her family and most of her friends that she invited. We held the luncheon outside on tables and under canopy tents we brought. The grounds were manicured and very lovely. The home was sparkling clean and very well maintained. The owners were gracious and hospitable - perfect hosts. We highly recommend this property.

This house was perfect for our family of 6 to spend a week in the beautiful town of Brevard. The owners were nearby which gave me piece of mind. They were very helpful when needed. The house has so much character! My teens loved having the upstairs “apartment” to themselves with their own little kitchen and living room. My parents loved the beautiful porch with swing. We spent a lot of time there! We hosted family for dinner and there was lots of room outside and in. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. Thanks for an easy, no-stress, charming vacation!

Charles did everything to make our stay very comfortable. The landscape around the property is beautiful and well kept. The house, yard and front porch were a perfect accommodation for our family reunion.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, homey place! There were so many little extras provided, like snacks, coffee, creamer, books, games, and fresh flowers. The porches and yard are so lovely! The kitchen is well-stocked and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Great location too!

This is a great property located a short drive to Downtown Brevard. The house was clean, roomy and comfortable, and located in a quiet area. Perfect for catching up on some badly needed rest and relaxation. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Brevard.

We enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room for 5 of us. The front porch was our favorite spot! The host left a very well stocked kitchen and lots of information about local activities.

Tried coming to the mountains in the spring of 2020 but, well you know, so this was the first time we had gotten together since then. I am from northern Minnesota so my wife and I left in search of spring as well as family. We had a wonderful time. The beds were comfortable and there were three baths (though the upstairs bath should be reserved for the shortest members of the party). The kitchen was adequately provisioned with everything we needed to cook (but bring your own coffee grinder) which was a very nice surprise from previous VRBOs. Lots of nice spaces for gathering together or escaping for some down time. We loved our stay and would stay there again.

Great house. Great property manager. Well equipped big house with a locked bicycle garage. I don’t want to say too many good things because I want to stay there again and I’m afraid it won’t be available. Thanks Charles

Charles was very accommodating for our rehearsal dinner and stay this past weekend. The property was amazing and was able to accommodate our family for a rehearsal dinner and an excellent place for some of the family to stay for the weekend. It is a great property and a excellent location for anything in Brevard.

My family stayed here for my nephew’s wedding about 30 minutes away. We enjoyed all the spacious rooms, basket of goodies, including coffee and creamer in the fridge. The hosts were especially kind and made sure our stay was perfect. I do wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Charles and Kathy! Lynn

We chose this property because my niece was getting married at The Pretty Place and we wanted to have a brunch after the wedding. The home offered plenty of room for the guest. The home is well stocked with linens, towels and kitchen staples. I can’t say enough about the owners. They answered all questions timely and were wonderful hosts!!

Had a great visit to the Brevard area this past weekend. Our stay at Our Carolina Place was outstanding. The property is as advertised. It is very convenient to everything and has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. It was perfect for us! Hope to return soon.

Great spot. Close to downtown Brevard, quiet street, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, excellent bike storage and washing station. 2 of the 3 washrooms need some upgrading. Owner is very friendly and accommodating.

The owners are thoughtful and very responsive and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. But the house and some of the furnishings are old and challenging to use. Some rooms smell musty or moldy. You can't hear the highway noise inside, but you can't enjoy being on the front porch without hearing /seeing constant loud highway traffic. We enjoyed our visit and as long as you don't mind these compromises, you will too.

We were looking for a quiet getaway in the mountains and a place to relax. This home was perfect., lots of space with plenty of bedroom options. The hosts include many personal touches that made the home very welcoming.

We stayed for the month of July and it was a great place. Very nice old home and well taken care of with very pleasant and thoughtful hosts. Very convenient to Brevard and surrounding areas. My family enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay here again.

This was an adorable house and close to everything we wanted to enjoy! There are so many waterfall hikes within an hour or less. The host of this home were very quick to respond to anything we needed. They also had a basket of snacks and the lights and the air conditioner turned down. We had 6 adults and it was very comfortable.

The Carolina house is a very nice old home with lots of character. What is lacks in modern amenities it makes up for with its rustic charm. The house is located in a fairly quiet neighborhood. Convenient to downtown, dining and entertainment. The host provides a wide assortment of snacks at check-in and coffee pods for the provided keurig. The only negative we found is the bike/gear storage building separate from the house. Which is secured only by a key code door lock. With several large single pane glass windows, covered by thin almost see thru curtains. Not very confidence inspiring for storing thousands of dollars worth of bikes. Aside from this our stay at the Carolina house was great. The yard and fire pit area are great for entertaining or just hanging out with friends after a long day on the trails.
