Wonderful time relaxing at Lemmon Lodge. While we didn't really want to leave the property, it's a short walk to restaurants, galleries & shops. This property is unique with its private beach as well as lovely lakeside grounds. We certainly hope to return!

My mom and I have gone to Grand Lake every year since I was very young (and she’s been going since she was eight). Though it’s getting harder and harder to find an affordable place to stay in Lemmon Lodge these days, I was very grateful to find this property. Updated interior (the shower was excellent!) made this year’s stay very comfortable. Thank you!

Booked this for a quick Mother’s Day weekend getaway for myself, my wife and (2) kids and it was perfect for us. Location is walking distance to both downtown and the water. We even saw a couple moose right on the lodge property! The cabin was cozy and clean and had everything needed for our 2 night stay. One disappointing thing (especially for the kids) was that the map location in the listing has property showing right near the water so we were expecting the cabin to be lakeside and that is not the case. Short walk (2 min) and you are there. May just need to update pin to accurate location of cabin. Overall, we had a good weekend in Grand Lake and a pleasant experience staying here. We would definitely stay again…thank you!

A few issues that need attention - 1) oven/stove needs to be leveled, it tilts forward potentially allowing pots/pans to slide off the smooth surface, 2) kitchen and especially oven are dirty, 3) exposed electrical outlet in living room is dangerous, 4) window covering over main picture window broken so you can’t enjoy the view. Expensive given these issues and overall uncleanliness.

I've always loved looking at the historic cabins at Lemmon Lodge, so I jumped at the chance to stay there. This cozy cabin is well stocked, clean, and charming. The location can't be beat, and we walked to the Grand Lake shops and restaurants. The private beach access was such a treat, and we watched the sunset from there. We'll be back!

This little cabin was perfect for our family we have teenagers and an infant and this cabin met all of our needs. We spent most of our time at the lake catching fish and kayaking. It was also nice that the little town was so close, our teenagers were able to walk around. Great time!

We loved our stay here. It is in an amazing location with a private beach. We loved the fireplace and played the board games at the cabin when we weren't out hiking or exploring. The king size bed is super comfortable!

Perfect lake cabin less than 30 second walk to the lake front and an inlet into the lake. Also perfectly located close to all of the Grand Lake restaurants and shops. The cabin was stocked very well, very clean, and we had great communication with the owner! Make sure to take advantage of the kayaks for a great view on the water.

Great for family of two parents and two teens. Steep stairs to upstairs bedroom!

This is a great vacation spot. And the cabin was really nice and comfortable, rustic with modern conveniences. I would recommend this place to any one. And it happened to snow while we were there which was really pretty! Clint Daniels

We loved our time at Lemon Lodge and Grand Lake. #2 was ideal for a family of 5. We could have used another pot/pan but survived without. We loved that there were plenty of towels and blankets.

This was our very first experience with VRBO and it was amazing! The Lemmon Lodge property was even more than we could have asked for. The Gouldings have a great cabin that is furnished with everything a group would need for a nice vacation. Our sons were able to fish at anytime and they could safely walk there alone, if necessary. Lemon Lodge is like a little neighborhood. We had fires at night while the kids fished and made new friends with other visitors. We used the kayaks provided and rented a boat from the marina just a minute walk from the cabin. We walked a short distance to eat meals and had ice cream every night. The weather was beautiful. One evening there were fireworks on the lake. What a fun experience. Wendy was an amazing host and answered all of my questions at lightening speed. Our family cannot wait to return to Grand Lake! Thank you for the hospitality!

This was a perfect rental. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops downtown. Walk to the lake where you can play horse shoes or sit by community fire pit. The cabin was very well furnished and clean. We had family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Master bedroom balcony was great for sitting out at night. There were great trails to hike a short distance. Transaction was very smooth. If I return to Grand Lake I would rent this cabin again.

We took a quick trip to Grand Lake for the weekend before our 2nd child was born and had the pleasure of staying at this Lemmon Lodge cabin. The location was great: we were steps from 2 beaches (both the private beach for Lemmon Lodge and public beach) and steps from the shops and restaurants in town. We did not get in the car after our arrival in Grand Lake, and it was even super easy to run "home" if we forgot something. For those unfamiliar with the town, it is very close to Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, and my husband did a bike ride from the cabin into the park. Very charming little cabin and extremely convenient for the family. Only downside is a fair amount of foot traffic/noise being on the "convenient" end of the Lodge.

We had a great time over the 4th of July.... Property was ideal for our needs. Owner was very responsive and fixed minor issue with wi-fi.
