The house was carefully and fully equipped. Everything was cleaned and working, ready to use. The house is super close to the city center, both by feet and by bus (or car). The parking on the street is free and easy to find around the block. There Id plenty of stores to go grocery shopping and to grab something to eat. Last, but not least, the host is wonderful and really helpful. He gave us many hints for the sightseeing, but also for restaurants and hidden spots. Amazing experience!

Host very nice and available, easy to collect the keys. Location well connected to the Center and station

Our very thoughtful and informative host met us at the door; showed us around the apartment and provided extensive recommendations and notes (via Google translate) on a map which he provided. He had also purchased a guide book, in English, for us to use while were there! The apartment seems recently updated and was very clean! The beds and pillows were comfortable! Across the street is a pizzeria and L'orto Amico - a shop that sells fresh fruit and vegetables, beer, wine, pasta (the little nonnas that work there are adorable). Free, onsite parking! If you're a light sleeper, earplugs might benefit you. The property is close driving distance (about 5- 10 minutes, depending on where you park) to Old Matera.

The property is along a fairly busy street and close to a nightclub of some sort. Those of us with earplugs didn't have any issues, those without did.
