We rented the chickenhouse with the Taylor Inn to accommodate all of our family. It is just a few steps away from the Inn. The decorations are perfect. The host is awesome. We enjoyed our weekend in Taylor celebrating the marriage of our cousin. The cottage is unique, the kids loved the loft area!

This is my second time to stay in the Chicken House and I loved it equally as much! The first time I came with girlfriends to go to double Dekker art festival this time I came with my family to go to my nieces wedding. I love everything about it! From the decor, right down to the chickens!

Paige was a great host and very detailed in her information prior to our arrival. The house was splendid and the town of Taylor has a great coffee shop and some great restaurants. What a gem of a place and less than 15 minutes to Oxford. Really beautiful and relaxing weekend!

This was a perfect weekend getaway spot. The home was rustic and clean. The chickens nearby were fun to watch from the porch. There are also two very good restaurants within walking distance.

We named the rooster Henry and it’s seems chickens are in our future Ideal location to be across from Taylor Grocery and just down street from Plein Aire Just enough distance from craziness of Oxford on a busy weekend. Loved the I erior furnishings.

We named the rooster Henry and it’s seems chickens are in our future Ideal location to be across from Taylor Grocery and just down street from Plein Aire Just enough distance from craziness of Oxford on a busy weekend. Loved the I erior furnishings.

Cabin was just as cute as in the pictures. Everything we needed was available and the hostess was gracious and charming. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our first VRBO experience and we absolutely loved it! The communication prior to our stay was great, as well as recommendations. She also had the place warmed up for us when we got there. We will definitely have to come back!

Absolutely loved our stay , the coup was rustic on the outiside but small , quaint and well out together inside . It was enough space for my two children and wife and small pug , only a10 minute drive from Ole Miss and about an hour from Memphis . We will be back !

❤️We Love the Chicken House.
Close enough to Ole Miss in Oxford to move our daughter back, and enjoy the drive back to the peace of the Chicken House. Paige is wonderful, and always available of you need anything.
Taylor grocery and GRIT are both wonderful for dinner and desserts.
We will definitely return!

Always a pure joy
Our stay was - once again - absolutely incredible. A lovely cabin where we all relaxed. This time, we took time to eat across the street at Taylor Grocery! It was the perfect evening. I dream of owning and restoring a property right there so we can live in such a glorious spot!!!! Thank you for your hospitality!

Chicken Shack at Taylor Inn: A Great Getaway
I stayed here to attend my son's wedding event at Plein Air, just around the corner. The cottage was perfect for that occasion. I will be coming back when I don't have a schedule of activities to attend, so I can enjoy a lost weekend. Something therapeutic about the place--especially the chickens.

Relaxing and fun experience
This get away was exactly what we all needed!!!! We found the cabin to be charming. Close enough to Oxford to get to all activities easily, but far enough out of town to enjoy some rest and relaxation. The cabin is full of charm which is easily matched by the Page as she goes the extra mile to assure you are comfortable.

A true Mississippi experience
We stayed in the Chicken House this past week and already reserved for our next visit to Oxford! The Taylor Inn and the Chicken House are just lovely. The perfect blend of rustic charm and modern creature comforts.
The owner, Paige, is the perfect hostess and the little town of Taylor is very quaint and good eats. Just a 15 min straight, easy ride to Oxford. The chickens and rooster are a bonus.

My family and I spent 2 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday in Paige's compound. We will return, having loved the decor, the comfort--and seeing real live chickens! We are also very grateful to Paige for going out of her way to assure our comfort.
