Amazing location, quite and tucked away from the boat traffic but close to some great activities. The water at norris lake is unbelievable clean and turquoise. The owner was always in communication and very helpful. Would definently stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hiwassee Haven! Marie was amazing to communicate with and was extremely responsive. The location is perfect! Back in a cove with little to no traffic. We loved paddling around on all the toys that were included! Our daughter and her friends paddled out to jumping rock and played on that for a while. The house was PERFECT! So clean, everything included and the perfect layout for two adults and three teen girls. We could have easily had more guests! Overall a wonderful trip!!

We had two families staying at this cabin with a total of 10 people, including 7 kids (ages 7 through 17). The cabin was perfect for us! The layout was great and with multiple beds in most of the rooms we had plenty of room for everyone. The game room in the basement was great for the kids. The internet was very fast with no issues. The cabin was extremely well-stocked and very clean. The host was very friendly and had great communications. The cabin is in a beautiful location and since it was the off season it was nice and quiet. The hot tub and fire pit were great amenities and even in December the weather was nice enough to allow us to do some fishing and paddle boating. We would love to come back in the summer so we can enjoy the lake more.

My family and friends have traveled to Norris Lake every year for the last 15 years. Hiwassee Haven was by far the best house we have rented and the first one we will definitely rent again. Marie was a wonderful host with excellent communication and made the check-in process easy. The house was exactly as described and EXTREMELY clean, even where not expected as in the oven, under the beds and outside areas such as the grill, patio furniture, hot tub and dock. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. The bedrooms were spacious with nice furniture and TVs in every room. The beds were comfortable and the showers were great. Unfortunately we had rainy weather which prevented boating most of the weekend but the house had many options such as kayaks, games, hot tub, foosball, air hockey, and 2 large family rooms to entertain us. I will certainly seek out Marie Ayers as the host of any future rentals as everything was perfect!

Our process for renting the house was the best experience ever. The process went so smooth ,something I've never experienced with vacation rentals. We will go threw VRBO with all our future rentals.

My family and I enjoyed a weeklong vacation on beautiful Norris Lake during the first week of July. Marie was great to work with and quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had. The home was clean and met our expectations for a great week on the lake. We loved having the paddleboard’s, kayaks and floating toys. I would definitely recommend this vacation home.

Property was very clean and had lots of extra touches. Very good communication with property owner. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake. It was so nice to have the dock for our boat! Not to mention all the fun extras, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. Highly recommend Hiwassee Haven and would definitely stay again!

The location of this house was great. In a private cove which was nice and it was located about 30 minutes from 1-75. There are two marina's that are close and plenty of open space on the lake to explore. The dock was perfect to hang out on when we were off the boat with plenty seating space for our large group. The house was well equipped with all the necessary things you need to cook. We would definitely return!!

Hiwassee Haven is a wonderful lake front home. Marie was very helpful and available for questions, responding quickly. The house is extremely clean and well set up for a vacation on the lake. We enjoyed the kayaks after boating during the day. Marie provides all the little extras which is nice not to have to bring yourself. This house is one of the best stocked houses we have stayed at Norris Lake. The hot tub felt great after a day of skiing. The beds were very comfortable as well. The dock is one of the nicest we've seen over the years we've been coming to Norris.

This property was great, better than the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely be back!

Our whole family LOVED everything about Hiwassee Haven. GREAT house, GREAT location, amazingly beautiful views & scenery!!!!! The owner, Marie, is THE BEST!!!!!! Whenever we had a question, Marie was easy to communicate with. She’s is always accessible. I had a medical emergency & she & her husband were VERY helpful to me & our family.

What a great property and location. Plenty of room for 3 families, with a great location on the lake. Marie is fantastic to work with and she provides everything you need for a vacation at the lake. The dock is huge and excellent for a larger group, and she’s got lots of toys for people of all ages. The steps are actually pretty easy in comparison to many Norris properties, so I wouldn’t let that hinder you. The hot tub and fire pit were both used quite a bit, but most of our time was spent at the dock or on the water. I’d recommend to anyone and plan to be back myself. Thanks Marie!

We had a great time at this property. We had multiple families with kids 8 and under. The paddle boards, kayaks and game room were a hit for all ages. The owner is responsive and helpful. The property was clean. We rented a pontoon boat from a local marina and drove it to the properties dock for the day. We were able to cook and feed a lot of people easily there! Definitely recommend this property!

Went for a week during Christmas with family, there were 9 of us total and there was more than enough space. It was extremely clean, Marie has everything you could need from kitchen to laundry to outside activities. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had as a family. As others stated the driveway is quite steep and with the snow that made things a little harder. The walk down to the dock is quite the hike but its so quiet and private that to me it was well worth it. Great communication and quick replies. Highly recommend! 10/10

We plan a trip once every 3-4 months with 2 other families! We have all been friends for 10 plus years and all have 4-year-old little girls who are besties by default! We planned this trip to celebrate New Year.. since this has been such a bummer year! We absolutely loved everything about the place. Very well stocked with everything you could need. The owner Marie was so helpful!

My husband and I, along with our two kids decided to take a road trip to TN. This listing was exactly as described. The house was clean and there were many things available to us while we stayed there. This included a hot tub, pedal boat, SUP board, 2 kayaks (4 life jackets were also available), fishing poles and tackle box, and there was a set of cornhole, a foosball table and poker table. You definitely won't run out of things to occupy your time with during your visit here. The kitchen was stocked with pots and utensils and there wasn't anything that we really need that wasn't already available. The only cons about the place, which aren't that truly that bad are: the buttons on the hot tub were a bit difficult to use -we couldn't get the actual jets to work all the time. Also, it would have been really awesome if the lid of the hot tub opened up any other way so you didn't miss out on the beautiful views of the water. The only other thing was the amount of cameras outside the house and on inside. I understand that's used more for when the house is secured with the alarm and the house is not in use, but it kind of felt like we were being watched (which I'm sure we weren't). If you have any issues with a lot of steps, this house may not be for you, although the exercise to get up and down the stairs was well worth the views and the beauty of the surrounding area! Would definitely visit again!
