Weekend get away with the family

It was the perfect location for us. (Ages 32-60) Having this home on the water was the right choice. We used the life jackets, kayaks and outdoor grill. Price was right and communication with owner was fast. I highly recommend this property.

❤️ this place! Even with the lake down over 3 feet the water is still deep enough for diving off the dock. Fishing was great, mostly perch and catfish, and the kids pulled in so many we lost count! We’ll be back, I’m sure, for our 5th and 6th stay!

The backyard could stand a cleaning (e.g., old grill leaning against the fence), as well as receive an insect treatment. The swimming off the dock was good, even with the lake ~18" below normal. Seven adults fit comfortably in the house, and we had plenty of space in the kitchen for meal preparation. We would use this place again in the future.

I rented this house for my son’s 16th birthday so we were a total of (10) 7 teens, one child and two adults. The boys really enjoyed their stay, they went fishing and swimming. The house also provided kayaks and paddle boards which they loved. They did s’mores in the fire pit, grilled out and played board games which the house also provided. They do have life jackets as well for the water activities. The backyard was beautiful, the scenery and lake view were just perfect. The indoor decor is absolutely adorable with fun signs and unique little details throughout the home. The kitchen was super nice, brand new looking appliances, the amazing stove/oven being my favorite feature since I spent a lot of time cooking for everyone. We forgot waters but thankfully the amazing fridge had filtered water so we were fine. The house was stocked with basic needs including a French press which was super exciting to find! Beds were very comfortable, the owners provided plenty of bedding. The neighborhood and the house feel very safe, it was peaceful and the neighbors seemed friendly. This was the perfect rental for what we needed, we will definitely be back and tell all our friends!

The place has just what we need. Plenty of room with furnishings, supplies, a newly remodeled kitchen. The dock is in deep water with plenty of room for our boat. The extra storage lot across the street is ideal for storing our boat trailer. The owner, Melissa, is very agreeable and helpful. We hope to return next year.

We had such a great time! This was our third time staying here and it was wonderful as always! The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of water toys to play with, and the beds were all comfortable. We hope to stay again soon!

Second year going to same property... owner is amazing, property is amazing i search and search for vacation spots and end up on this one because it has everything you need and private and trust you are getting more than your money is worth

Is a wonderful place. Beds are very comfortble, Kitchen well stocked with pretty much anything you need. Had 2 dogs with us and the yard is completely fenced. Firepit was a hit, great for smores. Wish we had more time to fish they were jumping everywhere. I brought rafts but not needed plenty of water toys. Our Host accommodated everything I asked for. Thanks to them for allowing us to use their home.

This was our second time staying at this property and it was even better than I remember. Everything is well stocked, very clean, comfortable, and Melissa communicated everything very well. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board too. We already booked our stay here next month too. We love this place!

We hap a great time, comfortable beds, plenty of room for a group of 5 women but could have easily had a couple more people. Good fishing caught some good size crappie and catfish.

The property was just like it was advertized. The weather unfortunately was a bid cold to swim. We still enjoyed the fishing catching 3 very nice catfish that we took home and of course the the fish story "for the one that got away". The house had all the necessary items to make it a home, lots of water toys, life jackets, games, and comfortable beds. Yes we would go back. Very worth the $ spent. Regards, Bastrop Vusitors

We loved the house as soon as we walked in the door. A beautiful house with a great layout. The kids loved the bunkroom with enough space for everyone! Did some fishing and just enjoyed time with the family. The only thing I would add would be a bigger grill because, although, my hubbie's is a professional Chimney guy, he's definitely a professional outdoor grill guy at heart! Would definitely stay again!

We LOVE this property! This was our 2nd time to stay. Our 1st trip was a sibling trip with my husbands brother, sister and their spouses. It was in October and all was great. We loved being able to walk directly out to the dock late at night or early in the morning and cast a line or drink our coffee. Our 2nd trip we took our children and grandchildren. It was a perfect setting and roomy with all of the accommodations. The host is very quick to respond and answer any questions. This is definitely our go to place for a nice get away.

We loved the home and the sitting places outback, even though we had a Tornado Warning while there. The owners, Mrs. Melissa, checked on us the entire stay. We will definitely be returning.

We had a group of 4 couples and the home was just amazing! We had such an awesome time cooking, relaxing, boating! Just perfect. All the rooms were cozy and just the right amount of space. The kitchen is open and perfect for multiple cooks to be in there all at once. The outside seating and set up was beyond what we could have even expected in the pictures. I’m excited to come back and bring the kiddos!!!

This was our second year to stay in this property. Pictures on the site do not do this house justice. Even though the lake was down about 6 feet, there was still sufficient depth to get our boat in and out of the cove. We enjoyed it once again and will continue to come back in the future.

Great location, very clean and fits the whole family!! Had a great stay and the “toys” in the garage made for an even more fun weekend!

Nice house off lake- lake within stone throw of back porch. The kayaks and paddle board was a nice feature just to play around in the cove. Lots of space for our large family. House had more beds then listed that were in 1 of the living rooms. Neighborhood was nice- for walks and runs. It was further than we thought but worth the peace and quiet.

This was our third year in a row to go to this particular house. The house is great, the access to the water is great, the communication with the owner is great and the view of the lake is great. Highly recommend this VRBO.

We had a great experience renting this property. The owners were great communicating with me the many questions I had and made special accommodations for us. The house is super cute, well kept, lots of places to sleep. Would recommend and come back to stay!
