Great stay over new years! The chef was fantastic and the house manager Kim was extremely attentive and coordinated everything to perfection.

Our stay was absolute bliss. Kimberly was so kind, friendly, and helpful. The groundskeeper was a gem, such a kind person. The house was absolutely spectacular. The view stole the show and we hung out at the pool to take it all in day and night. The highlight for us was all the wildlife we encountered daily at the house. No need to go into the park. We typically don’t spend this much on lodging but, trust me, this place is absolutely worth it. We can’t wait to return! Pura Vida!

Casa Bella Vista was an exceptional home with a breathtaking view. Kimberly, Rodrigo, and Patrice were very attentive and made sure our group of seven wanted for nothing. The animals on location and beautiful infinity pool kept us entertained. We loved every minute of this getaway in beautiful Manuel Antonio!

Our family had been looking for the perfect vacation getaway to celebrate the Holidays in advance and together. Casa Bella Vista did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations! The house was impeccable, the staff exceptional, the views were breathtaking, and the daily animal visitors were always welcomed! I would recommend this home to anyone who wants an amazing, relaxing vacation and am hopeful that we can return again in the near future!

Casa Bella Vista exceeded our expectations for our group of 8 seniors. We were all pleasantly surprised by the property and its spectacular location perched above the Pacific Ocean. The service provided by Kimberly, the concierge was attentive and helpful in so many ways. She helps with so many aspects of travel revolving around the house and getting there. Also, the support provided by Rodrigo, the caretaker and Patricia, the maid was a nice surprise. Doing my laundry- nice touch. At Kimberly’s suggestion, we hired Javier, a local chef for two nights. A bit pricey, but this guy is really good, so do it. Common areas are open air, but the weather was moderate, so not bad. Bedrooms are ample and have AC. Kitchen is well appointed, but could use a bit of updating of the stove and pans; otherwise we’ll designed. Infinity pool was a pool with a view with a comfortable temp. The area surrounding the house, including Quepos, has become somewhat congested and needs road improvements, but all doable. We loved the little nature trail carved out by Rodrigo and the visits by monkeys, agodis, parrots, sloths and other local creatures. Nice beaches surround the house, but require a bit of a hilly hike. Worth it it, if you can get up and down. Lots of bars and restaurants around- we liked Emilio’s, which is walking distance uphill. Overall, a really nice place to vacation and being there during the rainy season was no big deal.

We had a great time the property is even more beautiful than the pictures. Kim and the staff were amazing and took care of everything we wanted. We will be recommending this place to all our friends.

Our family of nine stayed at Casa Bella Vista for ten days. I cannot recommend this property enough. Kim was wonderfully accommodating as were Rodrigo & Patricia. The location is fantastic. We had daily wildlife encounters on site. All around an amazing experience. We’ll be back!

Gorgeous view and beautifully furnished. Amazing breezes kept the villa comfortable even without AC in the living room. We have been renting beautiful luxury villas for over 20 years and have never stayed in the same villa twice. We would definitely stay here again.If you are reading this, your villa search should now be over.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Casa Bella Vista! From the moment you arrive, it is obvious how beautiful the house is and how incredible the views are. But what really differentiates the experience is the incredible level of care that Kimberly and the team put into your entire stay. It truly felt like we were being cared for by family. Everything was thought through in detail, from planning the excursions, to ensuring the house was perfectly ready at all times, to personal things like being driven to the grocery store or given unique animal tours around the property. I have stayed at a LOT of resorts and rental properties over the years, but nothing was as amazing as Casa Bella Vista. We can't wait to go back!

Everything about our stay at Casa Bella Vista was ABSOLUTELY perfect! Book this house now! We have stayed at numerous fabulous houses in Manuel Antonio but this house in a class all by itself. Kimberly the best concierge ever replied promptly to all our communications starting months before our trip. She made all of our reservations for restaurants, drivers, airport transfers, excursions and in house chef. All of her recommendations were perfect and having her take care of all the details was so great. Rodrigo the grounds keeper was fabulous and kept the pool sparkling, closed up the house for us at night, greeted all of our drivers and visitors and was so happy to find the Sloths in the trees to show us on the property. Patricia the housekeeper kept the house sparkling and came daily and did our laundry every other day. Now to the very best part...the VIEWS were the very best in every direction. Great sunsets, McCaws and toucans, flying by several times a day, gorgeous views from the pool and from every bedroom. We had spa services in our house and a yoga class on the patio with the most amazing views. The kitchen is so so well stocked. There is nothing I can think of that they left out. The house is walking distance to most places and to the bus stop to go anywhere in Manuel Antonio. It is secluded enough to be away from the road noise and to provide so much wildlife all around the gorgeous huge property. We already booked the house for next spring!

Casa Bella Vista is hard describe without running out of superlatives…most beautiful, best service, astonishing view… Our group was made of 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 12 year olds. I am positive I speak for everyone when I say we all had an incredible time. My wife and I have stayed at several properties in this area of the years, and this one is a cut above the rest. The property manager, Kimberly is incredibly helpful and responsive, not only while you are there, but well before you arrive. She provides concierge service you would expect to receive at a high end hotel, always ready to help arrange travel needs, excursions, baby sitters…you name it she can help. The pictures make it look beautiful, but they don’t do it justice. Waking up everyday and seeing that postcard view is impossible to beat. The house itself has everything you need to be comfortable, copious amounts of entertaining areas, games, pool floats, grills…again pretty much everything you would want in this beautiful environment. Also, unlike many properties in the area the pool is situated in full sun so the water is actually not freezing and really enjoyable. During our one week stay we saw multiple capuchins, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, sloths, toucans, Scarlett macaws…all from the pool area. I would say that if you are going to visit the Manuel Antonio area this house has to be your first choice.

We stayed as a family group to celebrate my parents 80th. We were 4 couples and 2 children. The villa is breath taking - the pictures don't do it justice. We had a great time, enjoying the local surroundings and all the villa had to offer. As we had been to Manuel Antonio previously it was nice to have such comfortable surroundings to relax and enjoy, therefore we didn't do many tours as we had done them previously. You see so much wildlife at the villa it'll make the National Park seem empty in comparison. We saw Toucans, sloths, three types of monkey, scarlet macaws and much more. The team were helpful and supportive, and when things went wrong (which is inevitable in a property this size) they were dealt with promptly. We BBQ'd most evenings rather than eat out, as the road is a bit steep for my parents and a bit dangerous in the dark. I would come back here in a flash, it was amazing.

Amazing. You will not be disappointed! This is not just a house, it is a palace! Awesome views, with more wild life than you will find trekking through the wilds. Monkeys, sloths, Tucans, Macaws are all around. The pool is outstanding. Rodrigo is a master gardener, Patricia keeps the house in order and does the laundry. We brought in Javier for 3 nights to cook dinner. And Kimberly was at our beck and call with answers to reservations, excursions, and anything else we needed. I could go on. Just book it! You will be amazed!

We have rented amazing homes all over the world for 30 years but Casa Bella Vista is the best by far! Stunning pool and home located in a private area, yet walkable to the beach (1/2 mile), town and friendliest restaurants (10 min). The concierge, housekeeper and groundskeeper all quickly became like family, professional, 110% service with an eye to every detail and personal need (our group ages 20-78 years). When one tour changed, Kimberly quickly found us an even better option the same day. We returned a week ago and I am still showing my friends the videos of the monkeys, sloths, macaws and toucans that visited the backyard daily! My brother is already planning to bring his family to Casa Bella Vista! It is a special home where you will create memories to last a lifetime.

Then come back and read the reviews knowing that you have booked the most incredible house in Costa Rica. We spent a magical week at Casa Bella Vista with our two families (4 adults, 6 kids). The house is everything you could hope for and more. It was immaculately clean and well maintained. Kimberly - the concierge - is incredible, and was so responsive and helpful. She booked all of our trips, gave us directions, called us taxis, made us dinner reservations, and gave us all the advice and recommendations a Costa Rica travel agent would. She made our vacation the best it could possibly be! Both the housekeeper, Patricia, and the groundskeeper Roderigo were also fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool is lovely. And the views from every balcony, terrace, and window are unbelievable. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back!!!

Casa Bella Vista and its staff far exceeded our expectations! We were absolutely spoiled in every way. The Villa is stunningly beautiful, first rate, and somehow unpretentious. It’s light and airy and roomy and makes it easy to feel right at home. The view of the bay cannot be overrated! Spectacular. And the pool…so refreshing, clean, and sparkling. There’s a great pool side bar too. Pipe in some music. You can let loose or just settle in for easy relaxation. You can expect visitors—squirrel monkeys and capuchin monkeys will show up frequently. They’re friendly and entertaining. And yes, you need to be careful where you leave things (phones, wallets, keys etc.), but it’s manageable. We had no problems. I have to say that our interactions with the monkeys made our time at the villa a one-of-a-kind experience, and the colorful macaws that perched in nearby trees were a sight to behold. Big kudos for Kimberly, the property concierge. She is so connected in the area with tours, transportation, amenities. She has a big personality and big heart. We are HUGE fans! She aims to please and hits the mark every time. It’s personal for her. Everything she scheduled for us happened seamlessly, was on time, with no confusion. She was easy to reach by phone and checked in with us often without being intrusive. Kimberly went out of her way to take care of us, and we are so grateful! Her energy, generosity, and incredible smile made this trip so special for us. We used Chef Javier four times, and he and his partner Kathy are talented, so friendly, and fun! The food? Oh my! So delicious! We were consistently impressed by Chef Javier’s cuisine. Highly recommend that you include them in your plans. Rodrigo, who handles property maintenance and lawn care, was always on top of things. He’s quietly friendly, aware and very responsive. And Daisy, the lovely housekeeper, was so helpful and kind. I can't rate this property high enough. The communication with the house manager, Kimberly, before we ever arrived was amazing. She booked all of our activities and helped us change things when we went different ways. The property itself is spectacular. The view from the backyard/pool area is breathtaking. We were greeted by monkeys everyday and saw sloths, Macaw's and Toucans. We loved every excursion we did and hired the private chef for the week. The meals we had were all delicious with no clean up. The housekeeper kept the house spotless and even did our laundry. We traveled with our 4 children and everyone agreed this was the best vacation we have ever had! We can't wait to go back!

Casa Bella Vista was simply amazing. Waking up to an unparalleled view of Manuel Antonio, daily visits from friendly monkeys, visits from sloths and wombats and tropical birds. It was a stay our family will never forget. Christi was easy to work with. Kimberly is an amazing concierge who helped us with everything from scheduling a private chef (Javier) to booking a snorkel trip, to simply finding our way around. She was always just a WhatsApp away! Rodrigo the groundskeeper was always there making sure all was well, spotting wildlife, locking up each night. Dixie the housekeeper kept things clean, did a daily turndown service, and an every-other day laundry service. The place was clean, orderly, safe, and very well stocked with needed supplies. I've mentioned that the view was mind blowing. It was. I still look at our pictures with wonder. It was only a short drive to a couple very nice beaches and also very close to fun restaurants. I actually can't imagine a better base in Manuel Antonio. We just had the best trip. It was also a very easy drive to the airport. We'd love to go back!

Casa Bella Vista is a beautiful house with a stunning view. Monkeys, macaws, toucans and a sloth were just some of the incredible wildlife we were able to experience in our own backyard! Kimberly is awesome! She takes care of all arrangements and makes sure your trip is a great experience! We had a private chef, Javiar, for one of our dinners, and it was soooo delicious! The property was as advertised. The view is amazing, the pool is great and the house was within walking distance to several restaurants/stores. We saw wildlife every day including sloths, monkeys and birds. It was a fantastic experience for our family. Kimberly was great with assisting with all of our excursions! Definitely recommend!

We had a Wonderful stay in Costa Rica. The house was just like in the pictures. We saw squirrel monkeys, whiteface monkeys, howler monkeys, toucans, sloths all from the back of the house. Kimberly was on top of everything, Ricardo showed us different anamals he saw and was very quick to keep things dry during quick afternoon rains. The housekeeper was the best, coming back to clan and folded laundry is something you could get used to.

Casa Bella Vista was magical for our family of 5. Of four trips to this area over the last 6 years we encountered more sweet squirrel monkeys and howler monkeys than all other trips combined. There were sloths in the trees two different days and Rodrigo who stays on the property was wonderful pointing out all the wildlife in case we missed it. He was also very helpful making everyone feel safe, whether meeting visitors at the door who may have been delivering items or picking us up, they had to get through him first and we lived that. Kimberly was fast to answer all questions and share her vast knowledge of the area and chef Javier prepared the best breakfast and lobster dinner we’ve had. It was wonderful to stay in on a rainy evening and have everything taken care of, or to wake up to an exceptional breakfast prepared early on the days we were leaving for an excursion. If you do dine out this home is located within a short but healthy walk of great places like Milagro’s for breakfast, Samui Thai and Falafel Bar for lunch and Cafe Aqua Azul,, and they stock delivery menus as well. The beach the teens loved with its big waves, body boards and banana boat rentals is a very short cab ride away. Location of this home is superb! If you’re not in the mood for beach the pool was much larger than any in the luxury homes we’ve ever rented there and always sparkling, some days we didn’t even leave the property and had a wonderful time using the amenities and watching monkeys. There are a lot of board games, books and a corn hole game as well. Housekeeping kept laundry done and were wonderful at cleaning for and around us. There was so much room, the view of the ocean was breathtaking, and unlike other homes we’ve rented nearby, Casa Bella Vista was free of almost all construction noise, we were amazed at how quiet it was. If I had one small suggestion to make it would be as simple as bed pillows. While the linens and beds were very nice, the pillows were so firm none of us slept on them, vowing to bring a pillow of our own when we return, and we definitely want to return! We had a great vacation at Casa Bella! The house is within walking distance to 2 beaches and several nice restaurants, not to mention the stunning view. We didn't rent a car, just walked. Whenever we were in need of a car service, we just message the house manager Kim, she will have a car come by in no time. We especially enjoyed Chef Javier's service, his cooking tastes great and without the hassle of going to restaurants. There is always somebody at the house, the maid, the groundkeeper, etc. But everyone is super friendly and nice to chat with. If you're looking for a couple's hideaway, this might not be for you. If you're looking for a luxury family vacation with fun activities, Casa Bella is great for you. The house manager Kim and the house staff are what's making it especially nice and stress-free.

Our entire family had the trip of a lifetime to Costa Rica, and this home was a highlight for our time there together! No detail was forgotten, from arrival to departure. The entire staff made us feel at home and welcome from showing us wildlife around the house to helping us order takeout and schedule a private chef experience. We had a wonderful time on our week-long stay at Casa Bella Vista. There were 8 adults, 2 small children - ages 3 and 1. The home was beautiful, spacious, immaculately clean, close to the beach and activities, everything we wanted and more. There were several kinds of monkeys and birds right on the property for us to enjoy. Rodrigo and Dixie were fantastic, keeping the property and the home perfect, and meeting all our needs. You won't find a nicer pool, or a nicer view, in the entire area. We hired a private chef - Javier, and his assistant Kathy, to prepare a breakfast and a dinner for us - both were outstanding, only wish we had hired them for more fantastic meals. Best food we had during our stay. Kimberly was a perfect concierge, helping us with so many details, providing information, calling cabs, even picking up things from the store for us. All in all, we couldn't have asked for more. For clarification, the home is an open air concept except for the bedrooms, which are air conditioned. That cool air felt great when we all turned in each night. We would recommend this place, and the excellent staff, to anyone considering the Manuel Antonio area. Everything was outstanding. Thank you to each and every one of you for making our trip so enjoyable.

From the moment we entered Casa Bella Vista our stress level plummeted to zero!! Kimberly & staff went above and beyond .....truly the greatest experience we've ever had using vrbo! House & Views are amazing!!!

Our family of 9 (three generations) had an incredible stay at Casa Bella Vista. The house is beautiful; as previous reviews have noted, the photos online don't really do it justice. The views are breathtaking and the gardens are spectacular. We saw sloths and 3 species of monkey every day, as well as scarlet macaws, toucans, mot mots, and parakeets. We saw more wildlife at the house than in the park, and the squirrel and Capuchin monkeys visited the pool almost every day. Rodrigo really made our trip, pointing out all the wildlife and making sure that we saw the sloths, monkeys, and kinkajous whenever they were on the property. He is so knowledgeable about the local wildlife it was like having our own guide at the house. Rodrigo is up early in the morning making sure that the gardens are beautiful and he closes up the house at night. We felt totally safe knowing he was there. Kimberly was incredibly helpful from the moment we booked our trip, patiently answering all of our (many) questions. She brought us ice when the icemaker went on the fritz and made sure that our tours were booked and that we were picked up on time. She even ordered pizzas and made restaurant reservations for us! It was so wonderful having Dixie to do our laundry and help with the dishes! Our only regret is not booking a longer stay. We are already thinking about our next trip to Casa Bella Vista.
