This house has EVERYTHING you could ever need. It’s obvious that the owners/caretakers take great pride in this house. It’s just a delight and well priced. A lovely couple of days relaxing in this homely house.

We had such a great weekend here! A lovely quiet location, perfect for our dog - inside and out! Kitchen facilities were really good and beds comfortable. The only terrible thing was that we had to leave so soon! Thanks Lyndell and John, we'll be back.

What a lovely, cosy, welcoming old cottage experience this was.
The attention to detail is amazing. Full provisioned for families and adults.
Massive array of games, books, movies to watch. This old cottage was sparkling clean. There is a massive lounge with 7 huge windows and glass double doors to watch the incredible birdlife at this property.
Armchairs and heaps of sofas inside. Masses of out door seating.
Sunshine streaming in on an drab and gloomy day. Welcoming cosy lights on and biscuits to have with coffee.
Loved sitting in the lounge reading and doing my embroidery on a dull and damp day.
Close walk to the glorious beach and rock climbing.
Second Valley is South Australias best kept secret.
Great small beach for swimmimg. Fabulous area to kyack, dive and snorkle around.
We are definitely coming back here to Boathaven Beach House. Thankyou Lyndell and John.

We loved the shady yard which made the appearance so welcoming, and the deck with the round table- so good for sitting around for shared meals. Inside was comfortable. For adults the single bed room was small. A better barbecue would be excellent.

Booked accommodation, then my daughter had a baby, so we extended the offer for her to join us. Large property with plenty of places to sit, reflect or play. Close to the beach, contained back yard for dogs (we had 3, 2 golden and lab) and kids. Easy access, loads of games, no streaming services, which was great!! Very very enjoyable, bought back many childhood memories. Definitely recommend 😊

The house was really lovely and super clean and affordable.
Nice and close to the beach and a quiet place to stay. Bed very comfortable and was lovely to arrive to flowers and choc biscuits in the kitchen! Thankyou.
The only thing I’d change would be the two strange garden mannequins/scarecrows/
which were quite unsettling - and
did detract from us being able to really relax and enjoy the outdoor space.

It was so easy to unwind in this delightful property.So peaceful with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
The deck, the garden with its huge oak tree and all the comfortable places to sit and read in make it an ideal holiday spot. 700m away is the gorgeous little Second Valley Beach. We loved it all.

The Boathaven Beach House was a relaxing place to stay. Everything you need is there in the house to make your stay comfortable . Lot's of dvd's , games etc for those rainy days. All round a great place to stay

Second valley is where the hills meet the sea, we had a great time fishing at the local Jetty. We also used the Rapid Bay jetty.
The house was a comfortable stay and there were a lot of games for my son to use, everthing was there for a comfortable stay.
The nearby caravan park has takeaway food (we didnt eat there) and the shop also has a small supply of basic necessitates and fishing supplies (which the rrp is marked up), there seems to be no other shops around, so remember to pack it all.

Quaint little cottage full of quirky bits and pieces. A little cluttered and outside was a couple of creepy stuffed people. It would be nicer with a less is more feel. Overall a very relaxing place to unwind. *Needs to be noted No linen provided on info.

We had a lovely long weekend in the Boatshed. It exceeded our expectations and felt like a true holiday home. All the hidden touches and quaintness made for a relaxing stay. We loved the garden and all its nooks. We'll be back!

What a lovely place to spend a few days post Christmas R&R - We luckily booked on a cancellation and were very pleasantly surprised, the house and gardens are beautiful and comfortable and we hope to be back for longer. Thanks John & Lindell.

We spent two nights in Second Valley, staying at the Boathaven Beach House. We had a wonderful time away - dad, mum, two teenagers and a mini schnauzer. The living areas in the home are spacious. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of plates, glassware, pots and pans. The property is clean and well maintained with lots of boardgames and DVDs available. There is also a great fenced yard for your dog. The house is located a short walk from the beach and caravan park kiosk where you can hire kayaks to explore the coastline and caves.

Although quite a dated property, it was certainly comfortable. Lots of great spaces.
Front/side fencing would be great so can sit on front deck enjoying a drink and the view and not have to worry about dogs/kids wandering off the property.

Perfect spot for a winter getaway. Quiet strolls with the family exploring the beautiful pebble beach and surrounding areas. The house felt warm and comfortable with everything we needed. Kids loved the outdoor area and saying hello to the chickens.

A welcoming atmosphere with flowers and chocolate biscuits on the kitchen bench, and tea, coffee, milk and sugar nearby. The kitchen had all the required equipment, and the lounge room with TV and video player/videos had several sofas and chairs. The two beds we slept in had comfortable mattresses.

House was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the peaceful location. Great value for money. Kids loved the totem tennis in the garden!
