This is our second time staying here. The location just can't be beat! It's within walking distance to nearly everything! The hosts are so nice and accommodating! They even gave us an onion so we didn't have to drive to a store! The kitchen is extremely well stocked. The balcony is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or your afternoon drink! We really enjoyed sitting in the garden, too! We'll be back again!

Beautiful property, lovely private garden. Convenient to walk to all of the old town. Never have to get back in your car.
David is a great host, quick to answer any questions . We have stayed several times and hope to stay in the future

We had a great time over the holidays at Casa de Banta! The property was truly beautiful and unique! The master bedroom was especially comfortable and the location was amazing! Easy check-in and out. The owner David is very responsive and it was so nice to have a private driveway with plenty of parking. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked but you will not need to use it with all of the amazing restaurants nearby. We highly recommend!

Excellent location, entire historic district is walkable. Quiet, secluded and private. Owner resides in separate home on property and is quickly responsive to questions. Parking on property a huge plus.

Perfect spot in the thick of Downtown St. Augustine. Close enough to all the action but just away enough so you can escape it. Home was fantastic with a beautiful garden area to sit out and enjoy a nice breakfast or a cocktail. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely comfortable home… two beautiful bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Loved sitting on the balcony and in the garden below. David was an excellent host. Being walking distance to shopping and restaurants was a real plus. (Highly recommend Casa Reina). Exploring the history of St Augustine and our trip to the beach in Anastasia state park made for a lovely vacation.

Absolutely loved our stay. The house and property are gorgeous, well maintained and perfectly located RIGHT in the middle of the action. The owner was friendly and helpful also. We loved being able to walk to all the shopping, food and for fort. 10 minute drive to beach was great too. Would highly recommend this VRBO and hope we can stay again!!!!

This home is perfectly located in the historic district with many shops, restaurants and attractions within a short walk. The house is super cute and clean with an adorable garden. The host was very helpful and friendly. Hope to come back again sometime with our three girls. :)

The location of the property was amazing. The house was interesting and has a cool history. Enjoyed the eclectic art work and furniture in the home as well as sitting on the balcony in the evenings. The only thing that I would suggest would be a little TLC. There were some things that definitely were in need of repair in the home and could be just a little updated. Other than that, we would recommend it to other visitors.

What a treasure! We were already planning a return visit to Casa de Banta 5 minutes after checking in. History, mystery, tranquil gardens, and a respite from the hustle and bustle of historic downtown all within walking distance to fabulous restaurants, intriguing historical sites, and the waterfront. I met my friend in St Augustine to explore the city. This property was located a quick walk from everything we wanted to see. The upstairs apartment was spacious, clean and wonderfully decorated. Comfortable beds. We had everything we needed! You will enjoy staying here.

The house was lovely, it had everything we needed for our short stay, and was beautifully decorated. The best part was the location. It was in the center of town and walking distance to many places we wanted to visit. I would say the only somewhat negative thing to be aware of is that one bedroom/bath area is larger than the other. But that wasn't that big of a deal.

This house is incredible. So much history and walking distance to everything. My husband and I stayed here for our wedding weekend. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!! The owners of the property are nearby and so incredibly helpful and personable. They treat you like family!!! Highly recommend!!

This was our 6th stay at Casa de Banta and equally as good as our past visits inspire of the weather. David & Libby are fantastic hosts! In the heart of down town in the historic district their is no need to drive anywhere. There is plenty of parking and the courtyard is spectacular. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. There is a coffee shop and breakfast place on each side of Casa de Banta. Surrounded by history and in the center of town this place is truly a hidden gem. We will be planning our 7th visit soon.

OUTSTANDING. The hosts and the accommodations are a "10". Easy walk to all the sights in St. Augustine. Many things practically outside your front door. Walked to dinner every night. Very comfortable. Lovely gardens. Quiet while being in the heart of it all.

We had a great time at your Casa De Banta, what a lovely place to stay. We are looking forward to coming again possibly in the Fall. So much to see and do in St Augustine that one time is not enough! We played golf as well at Slammer & Squire, for all golfers this place is a must. By the way, the little cafe at the end of your driveway, Chocolatte, was an experience we enjoyed every morning.

David’s place was perfect for my wedding weekend! David himself was very friendly and accommodating. The wedding day was a little crazy but David was there to help as needed. The property was just wonderful with the courtyard, open floor plan and right in the middle of everything. I could not have asked for a better stay.

If you want to stay in historic downtown, this is your place. It’s private and quiet but right in the thick of all the restaurants and bars. We walked all over town. Only moved the car when we went to the beach. The house had everything we needed and the history is cool. Coffee/wine on the balcony, dinner in the private courtyard.

The perfect location for a stay in St. Augustine. We walked everywhere, then relaxed in the gardens or on the balcony. The house has distinctive historical character with all the modern conveniences. Simply lovely!

So enjoyed our stay! This property has character and privacy while being in the center of historic downtown St Augustine! We walked everywhere and enjoyed returning home where we had everything we needed and lots of space around us. Birdwatching from our 2nd level porch was an added bonus. Wonderful Hosts.

This was our 2nd time staying at this rental. It's very well kept with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nicely decorated and has private Courtyard. The home is right in the Historic District so you never have to get back in your car .

I can't say enough good things about this property. To start with the hosts, David and his wife, were the most amazing hosts. The apartment was perfect and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location was great. You can walk everywhere; museums, restaurants, shopping. David knows the area well and gave us great restaurant recommendations and ideas of things to do for the day. Thank you both for everything. We definitely hope to come back.
