The property “looked” fine on the surface and the view and location were great! BUT….. -no hot water in master shower -freezer is broken; ice cream all melted -could not get guest bedroom fan to turn off -trash & rusty scissors left under guest bed -rusted, old appliances -mold on kitchen counter Would not stay here again.

House was beautiful. Outdoor patio and pool were very clean. View of the sunrise was great every morning!

The property was in a great location, and had a lovely channel view and pool, which is why we booked it. It is in need of a deep cleaning (ex. floor grout) and new linens, especially pillows. We emailed the owner with a request for another queen size sheet set and they were delivered the next day from Amazon, so he is very responsive. Overall, we would rent this again but we really need a king size bed.

When going to Marco over Spring Break we knew parking at the beach would be challenging. That was 100% of the reason we chose this property. It was a very short walk (3 blocks) to the public access to get onto the beach. It also had a pool (temperature was perfect) and was on a canal (we saw dolphins and schools of fish on multiple occasions!) We have stayed on Marco multiple times and in larger more upscale houses but this one is all about location and accessibility during that time of year. This house could be everything with a little updating but it suited our needs perfect and we throughly enjoyed our stay. We did have to purchase garbage bags, toilet paper, dish soup, laundry soup (to wash bedding when leaving) but it is what it is! It did not make our trip any less enjoyable and we would return to this house during busy season!

We enjoyed our stay and were so sad to leave. The house is very comfortable with an amazing pool and lanai area. The walk to the beach is short which we did more than once a day.

The property was as listed, location was great, within a 10 minute walk to beach, centrally located near restaurants which you can walk to as well. Nice that it came with a wagon for the beach as we had our 4 year old. Pool was fantastic, had plenty of pool stuff for our daughter which was very nice. Had dolphins swim down the canal and seen other fish back there as well. Could use a some better mattresses but other than that would recommend a stay! Marco is beautiful

We truly enjoyed our stay with our children and grandchildren. Location on the channel and proximity to beach was awesome and the pool and lanai fantastic, heated nicely during the cool weather. Saw dolphins from the back once. Would stay here again. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 on communication because although Jon answered communications almost immediately, he did not respond to issues that he did not have a good answer for. We really enjoyed this house. It was VERY clean (except for ceiling fans which were disgusting). If owner would put some money into the property it could be amazing. Also owner really needs someone local to be more aware of the condition of everything. When we arrived, the patio outside was dirty. We informed Jon and it was power washed the first work day after. However, it should not have looked like it did, it looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. We informed Jon that there was not enough lanai seating for our small group and he never responded. We purchased some inexpensive chairs to use. While it was very nice to provide beach chairs, half were broken. The master bathroom sink did not drain well. The master bathroom shower and sink had bad water pressure. The beds were very comfortable. One twin bed had some weird bubble of material. The guest bed had a very old mattress cover. There was only one extra blanket and it was chilly when we were there. There were no extra pillows. The kitchen appliances worked, but were dated and in need of replacement. To be clear, none of these complaints affected the quality of our trip, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house immensely. But I feel the owner needs to be more aware of the condition of the property and take care of some of the issues. Nonetheless, I would still stay there again.

We chose this location after our trip to Sanibel Island had to be cancelled after Hurricane Ian. The home is in a great location, contact with Jon was easy. Never having to pack kids and stuff to the pool was priceless! They were in the pool about 5 times a day some days. We used the canal for fishing (there were poles in the garage, thankfully, because we forgot ours), and we even used our inflatable kayak in the canal too! A quick walk to the beach was no problem at all, we used the wagon to pack chairs to the beach a couple times. We brought our own bikes and rode around the island several times. It was a safe enough place for early morning running around the island also. If you love to cook, this kitchen is not the one. It needs some TLC and serious updating. The appliances are old, the cookware is functional but has been abused. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn’t work while we were there, so when we cooked, even with the windows open, it got very hot in the house. We used the gas grill several times which helped keep the house cooler. The whole home could use updating and the master shower needs some serious tile grout cleaning. I found the master bed to be very hard and difficult to sleep on. The pillows were very poor quality, might consider bringing your own favorite. The couch and pillows had an odor. They need replaced/updated. If we had to do it over, I’d probably choose another home because an updated kitchen is important to me. The location is great though and the private pool was so convenient. There were plenty of beach things in the garage (a few chairs appear broken) but the access to coolers, chairs and umbrellas and a wagon are great for families. We are a family of 4 and had plenty of room in the house. It was terrible not having AC for the whole week. The first few nights were fine because it was cool (50s), but when it stormed and was 70 at night, it was muggy and miserable. It couldn’t be repaired because the AC unit needed to be replaced (but wasn’t able to don’t until the following week). Better to play outside, and in December, the beach was used for daily morning shelling and sunset walks that were amazing. We love Marco island, this was our third trip to Marco.

Overall the property was good. Air conditioning went out for about 24 hours, owner got it fixed. Could not turn thermostat below 74 was very uncomfortable. Master bedroom only had full size bed, bathroom rugs are way past due for new ones. Pool patio was very dirty. One the great side, neighbors were very nice, pool temp was perfect. Wagon to use for beach was a must with littl ones.

This property checked all of the boxes. Nice pool, clean and nicely equipped house. Location was 2 blocks from public beach access. Since there are only three public beach accesses on the island this was key. Owner was friendly and communicative. Recommend!

We were very happy with the house. It was on a beautiful canal, saw dolphin and my son and husband caught many fish including a puffer. Everything was clean and neat, the pool was wonderful to enjoy too. We did have a issue with a couple of the mattresses and Jon the owner took care of this right away , he actually had new ones delivered . He was extremely responsive. We definitely would recommend this house and hope to come back ourselves and rent it again.

Perfectly situated. Nicely furnished. Great amenities. Our kids loved this house and we did too. The pool was used 4x a day! The quiet alcove on the canal side was gorgeous. The walk to the beach was short. Overall we had an amazing week. Thank you!

Pool was super with lanai and covered area for shade. View of the channel was beautiful. Within walking distance of several delicious restaurants. Owner very cooperative.

The house is immaculate and has everything you might need. Location is perfect, just a fee steps from the beach and near supermarkets and restaurants. We had a great stay!

Our family had a very nice stay at this home (four adults and two small girls - ages 6 and 4). The master suite is nicely located at the opposite end of the house from the other two bedrooms which provides extra privacy and quietness. We enjoyed sitting by the canal in the mornings and the pool is a nice size. The house is very conveniently located close to Public Beach access. The kitchen could use an update and needs more cooking and baking utensils but it's not a deal breaker. We would rent this house again.

This property is beautiful! The house is gorgeous and was very clean. Everything we needed for our stay was provided including beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella. We had relaxing mornings drinking coffee on the dock watching the sunrise, and colorful sunset views on the beach. My son enjoyed fishing off of the dock while we all swam in the pool. We even saw a few dolphins swimming in the canals. The beach was only a short five minute walk down through the neighborhood. We rented bikes for a few days and rode to the beach and around town in a matter of minutes. Super easy and fun! There are plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby and the grocery store is close too. Across the street in one of the yards is a family of burrowing owls. They watched us walk by every day. It was so cool to see them up close. The communication with the owner was quick and easy. We had a few minor issues and Jon resolved them immediately. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet. I would definitely return to Marco Island and this property again. This vacation quickly became one of our family favorites!

Everything about this location is perfect and exactly as listed! The house was the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. The location was amazing. I loved waking up to the sunrise on the canal, mornings at the beach (a very short walk), afternoons at the beautiful pool. The boys enjoyed fishing and kayaking off the back dock. I would 100% recommend this property. We are hoping to return next year!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and peaceful and we really enjoyed the pool. The house was clean and looked like it did in the listing. We would stay here again.

House was well appointed and the perfect location within a quiet beautiful neighborhood and just a short simple walk to the beach. The fishing gear and dock kept our oldest occupied for hours, and the lanai and pool were fantastic. We highly recommend this property!

We loved spending a week at this house and wish we could have stayed longer. We had one minor issue at the beginning of the trip and Jon was very responsive and did everything possible to fix it quickly. The location to the beach was perfect and my kids loved swimming in the pool. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area.
