We needed to find a rental close to family and this, “Little Gem” fit the bill. Only two of us stayed but there was room for 5 people. Everything was as stated and Laura was excellent at responding and texting. She met us at the property though we arrived late. Beds were comfy and though we didn’t end up cooking there, there were plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans. Great experience.

If the house had AC , for the summer it would have been awesome as some of us were waking up due to the heat and fans helped to some extend. Other than that we loved the stay and my son enjoyed. Had a wonderful experience in the lake property they had. We were provided beach towels for the same.

A very nice spot and very convenient to quiet beach swimming, Conway shopping and for a nice visit to Story Land. Our hosts for the weekend could not have been nicer. We ill most certainly be back :)

We spend the weekend in October and we highly recommend the place. Very nice cottage with all you need, great location quiet in the woods and very friendly and accommodating hosts.

This cottage was everything we hoped for. First of all, Laura is so wonderful and nice. She made us feel welcomed from the moment we met her. She explained everything the cottage has and warned us in advance of any noise due to the fact that the weekend we stayed was Labor Day weekend, but I think the only loud person in the whole neighborhood was my 4 year old. The cottage is the perfect size for a small family and is equipped with everything you will need. It felt like home and was so comfortable and so clean. The no cable and no WiFi was not a problem for us. We’re there to get away from everything and relax. And the cottage is close to family activities which is a huge plus. I’m not sure how anyone can give this cottage a bad review. My family and I absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back!

although laura and her husband were very nice , the cottage was horrible. .yes there is a tv but only works on cds. the full time neighbors were noisy as all hell. we were on some atv trail which started at 7 am . I explained to Laura I lived and chronic pain and needed peace and quiet well I didn't get any of that . The house is super tiny. and there was hair all over the blankets. I don't own a cell phone and my kid's were not around with theres.. I was also allergic to something in the house and forced to leave 3 days early VRBO could care less about what happened same as laura so Now I am having to seek alternative actions for a full refund. MY opion do not use home away or vrbo or any of there companies they do nothing . Find another cabin

The house was well equipped for a couple or family of four. Nice outside seating area and great location to all the NH attractions. No cable but does have a DVR so be prepared for some quiet time away from TV. Owners were very accomodating and helpful. Double bed a bit small for two large adults but that is the only negative. Would come back here again.

We really enjoyed the cozy cottage, outdoor firepit and Davis Lake, just a few minutes walk away. The location is perfect, set in the woods in a private community, yet only a few miles from town. It is also within easy driving distance of the White Mountains and attractions. Laura and Curtis are very friendly and made our stay very comfortable!

Great little house with plenty of room for a family, and perfect for three sibs visiting family in the area. (We've been summertime visitors for all our lives, and wintertime residents for a time as well.) The owner, Laura, was very flexible and met us at the house with the key and showed us how to manage the property. The kitchen is well organized with all basic supplies, dishes, etc. And lots of wood for the fire pit and containers for trash and recycling. Stairs take getting used to, but we had no real problems. Shout out to the local country store/deli for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. And of course our fav eatery, Delaney's Hole in the Wall in North Conway. We love love love the Madison/Silver Lake area!

This was a wonderful property!!!! Laura and her husband were so nice and welcoming. I would definitely rent this cottage again. The beach was so refreshing, especially since we stayed during New Hampshire's recording breaking temperatures!! The cottage does not have cable or wifi, but that was not a concern to me because our plans did not include staying at the cottage watching tv or playing on the computer. I suppose I did miss having air conditioning, but I knew it did not have that when I booked it. It did bother me at the time because severe heat waves such as NH had when we were there are uncommon and so I was not worried about heat at the time of booking. Would that stop me from booking it again? No. We swam and kept busy so we were okay. And it did cool down at night which allowed for the fans to cool the cottage off so we could sleep. I give the cottage five stars because the owners are very attentive and the property is kept up. It has a fire ring which we did use despite the heat. I am thinking about renting this again in a couple of years in the fall to do some leaf peeping! Thanks Laura!

My husband Michael and I truly enjoyed spending time in this cute,clean,and hidden in the woods little cabin.The lake was a ten minute stroll down the dirt road. Cooking out on the grill and sitting by the fire ring at night was lovely. The young woman, Laura and her brother are kind hearted folks who truly want you to enjòy your stay.

It took me so long to write this review but as Laura knows, life in the city can be very consuming sometimes. We stayed during our New Year's holiday and we really had a good time, it really is the perfect place to get away from the city's stress. Laura was so helpful and all the people around us were so friendly and welcoming that it felt like we were in a different dimension. I cannot thank Laura enough for all the help and advice provided during our holiday, we were lucky enough to grab some amazing pictures of Mount Washington in the middle of Winter. We are definitely going back. Laura and Peter deserve all the good reviews they have because they are awesome. Thanks for everything Laura and sorry for the late review.

I enjoyed our stay here! It's perfect for a small family. It's equipped with all you need. We loved the fire pit! And the owners were very helpful with finding good restaurants and local attractions.

Very cute, clean, updated cottage in walking distance to a pond for swimming/sunbathing and the "Madison Boulder". The cottage had most everything we needed, and was very comfortable. Be prepared to be off-the-grid, no wifi or cable, but we enjoyed that. Gas grill and fire pit were a bonus. Bring DVDs if you must have media entertainment. 15 minutes from Kancamagus/N. Conway The owners were very accommodating, we booked in less than 24 hours before we wanted to stay. We can't wait to go back!!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here over the 4th of July weekend. Everything was perfect. We loved the fire pit and the grill was awesome. Owners were very nice. We'd love to stay here again!

We stayed at this wonderful cabin for the Columbus Day weekend. It's such a cute place in a really nice community. The kids loved the sandy beach and collecting leaves, the adults loved the fresh air and fire pit. The owners were amazing and treated us so well. We had a great time in No. Conway and Storyland. My husband and I rented in May. This home is cozy and immaculately clean. While it is a small cabin, the open concept is very comfortable. The entire place is updated and has a brand new kitchen and bath. It is located in a small beach community that we found very peaceful. ( although we were there in off season). At first we were concerned about not having cable TV, but the TV in the den did pick up analog so we could watch local news and the TV downstairs has a built in DVD player that worked out very well for us. I could see a family really enjoying the area, there is a lake to fish, boat and swim walking distance and the yard has a great picnic/ fire pit area that would provide many fun evenings of ghost stories and roasting hot dogs over an open fire. The property is well appointed and no matter what we happened to need it was there, from dishes and pans, to utensils to linens to games and DVD's We found the owners very accommodating and the only issue we had ( the screen door not closing properly) was fixed immediately. The only thing I would be cautious of is the floating stairway if I had very small children, other than that this would be a perfect get away for a family that wants to "unplug" and enjoy nature and each other.
