This cottage was the perfect location to explore Door County and then relax and unwind! Clean, comfy, cute, and a very well stocked cottage with beach access, benches and fire pit. S’mores on the shore! Great walking and short hikes on road, beach, and close by nature preserve. Easy drive to all that Door County has to offer. Would love to rebook on any future visits to the area!

Peggy’s cabin is in the perfect place for a beach getaway in Door County. It was clean and well-maintained, with a nice screened in porch to sit on and listen to the waves. It is a great jumping off point for exploring the towns of Door County. We will be back!

The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. It was charming and is located just across the narrow lane from Lake Michigan, which you can see from the cottage. The sound of the waves was so peaceful! Communication with the Owner was very smooth. Thank you, Peggy, for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Just what I hoped for. A cottage by the water.

The cottage was clean and very cute and offered everything that you would need on vacation. We really enjoyed the view of the lake.

Great location, steps from a wide sandy beach with shallow, clear water for 100 feet out; mile Long Beach walks in either direction, and a shady lane in front of cottage that is great for walks and biking. Wonderful screen porch to enjoy watching the waves, cool lake breezes and beautiful moon reflections over the water. Comfortable, nicely decorated home with easy access to all living areas. Great kitchen/dining area functionality and clear directions to use of lighting, ac/heat, fireplace, appliances and TV/stereo and plenty of hot water. A lovely week spent laughing with friends, playing cards, Long Beach walks, wading, sunning, cooking in and eating out, shopping and watching fireworks on the 4th! Only one issue…the sheets on the twin beds did not fit well, coming loose at all hours and could use a new mattress on one of the beds. Otherwise, a very special vacation!

We have stayed here several times, never disappoints us! Regardless of the weather we always come home rested and relaxed and planning on the next return visit. Love the new screened in porch!

The cottage was charming! Very well appointed and comfortable. All of the comforts of home but in a beautiful setting! Close enough to enjoy the various communities but felt like we were in the country while at the cottage. Peggy provided detailed information and was quick to reply to my emails.

Very cozy well equipped cottage on Lake Michigan! Short drive to quaint downtown with nice restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay. House was clean, bed was comfortable. Just steps from lake michigan. We came up to go to the Packers game, its about an hour from Lambeau, not a bad drive. Good communication from owners. Would definitely come back.

Adorable cabin, perfect for just 2 people. Immaculate with a well-supplied kitchen. We cooked at least one meal each day which helped with the budget. Not familiar with the area when I booked in Sturgeon Bay, so did not realize it was just a bit of a drive to some of the main attractions, shopping and the trolley tours, but not bad, only about 20 minutes. Still worth it to be right on the water. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Very cozy cottage with everything you need for an enjoyable experience! Located steps away from the beach with a lighthouse view. Nice that each bedroom has access to it's own bathroom/shower.

On Lake Michigan the cottage was clean, well appointed and well stocked. Nice screened porch and deck for gathering. Amenities include TV, fire place, full kitchen and good wifi connection.

We were very happy with our Merry Breeze stay! Loved walking across the small, very quiet road to the sandy beach and the hard sand. Took a few walks on beach, walked the quiet road to Clay Banks and then took out our bikes to explore more. Short drive to Sturgeon Bay, and explored further north. If you want a sandy beach, this place will not disappoint. Very clean cottage, beds were comfortable. Watched a few movies from the extensive collection offered on the rainy days. Loved this place! Next time will bring more bath towels as they didn't get dry with the humidity and there is not a W/D in the unit. Other than that, it exceeded my expectations! In love w/ Door County!

This place is in a very quiet relaxing location. Just a few minutes drive away from the attractions. Has everything you need and was very clean. Absolutely enjoyed our stay!

Everything was absolutely perfect, from the sugar sand shoreline with great lake Michigan sunrises to soul warming evening fires. This impeccably kept cottage checks all the boxes of a Lake Michigan getaway, with all the amenities of home.

We had the beach all to ourselves the entire 5 days that we were there. We walked to the lighthouses every morning and enjoyed searching for beach treasures. We had bonfires on the beach a couple of nights as the weather was perfect between 50 and 60 degrees each day. We enjoyed our coffee on the screened in porch and listening to the waves of the lake on the beach. The only thing I wish we would have thought about bringing was bicycles to ride along the road as it had a perfect setting for bike riding and the view is amazing. We also enjoyed going out in Sturgeon Bay and sight-seeing and enjoying some locale places for meals. Green Bay is also fairly nearby so we were also able to do some shopping there as well. Overall, we have a wonderful vacation in Wisconsin and are so glad we chose this location.

It was still chilly outside during our stay so we loved getting back to the cottage and having a fire. The cottage had everything we needed during our stay and was super clean and inviting.
