Great property. It had everything we needed. Fenced yard for the dogs was awesome! Kitchen was well equipped. We will definitely stay again.

Our group of ladies had a fun stay at Buddy’s Bungalow. It’s not for the faint of heart because of all the stairs, but the location is good. The golf cart makes getting to the beach easy and it’s fun to toodle around the island.

This home is very spacious with a well equipped kitchen. We love the location and its proximity to the beach as well as restaurants. We enjoy the pool after a day at the beach. There is an outdoor shower to clean the sand off. For more restaurants and shopping, I recommend visiting Appalachicola.

We had a great vacation and enjoyed having our family together. The home was clean enough and all of our needs were met. However, we were a bit disappointed in the details. The house was clean as far as bedding and towels, but the cleanliness of floors, tubs, surfaces, and pool were lacking. The house has a very open floor plan - very little privacy. 3rd floor bathroom could be heard from 1st floor because of openness...you have to go through 3rd bdrm to get to master bedroom. Again, we had a great time but I would not return to this rental with my adult children.

The property was great! the kitchen was well stocked with every utensil needed to make meals. The house was very clean. We appreciated the privacy the green space surrounding the property provided. Unfortunately, the weather flooded the pool area and we were unable to use the pool for the last 4 days of our stay. Everyone had a great time. It was conveniently located to stores, restaurants and the beach!

My family enjoyed our stay. Good place for our dogs too- the fenced in yard with the pool was very helpful. The electric golf cart was a great inclusion.

We loved staying here! The house was clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. Being able to use the included golf cart was an awesome bonus, and the homeowners were very responsive. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is ideally located in a secluded area bay side but still very convenient to the beach. The home is large with lots of areas for family time as well as space for peaceful "me" time, too. The fenced in grassy yard was a definite plus for our pups. Communication with the owners was excellent. We have already booked again for next year!

We loved the unique layout and there is a porch for every time of day and weather situation.There are tons of stairs but my wife says it is her dreamhouse. She has been visiting the island for almost 35 yrs straight (minus a few) and this was her favorite experience. The pool was a blast for the kids in between beach trips. Golf cart ran great and was a big help toting our 3,000 lbs of beach gear. We rode bikes most of the time to and from the beach and used the golf cart for the wagon. I almost missed the sunset bay view from the master bedroom window! It is a must see. You can catch the late sunrise from one of the sundecks as well.

Beautiful home! Great location! Excellent communication with home owners! Lots of memories made! Will definitely be returning!

Buddys bungalow is a slice of heaven on earth. We will now make the annual trek from Wisconsin just to spend time here. Pam is great at communicating, the property and home are beautiful and SGI is truly our favorite place to visit.

We had a great time at this property with our large family. Plenty of space for all, heated pool, and just quick 2 min golf cart ride to the beach. Pam was super responsive with any questions. Would recommend and looking forward to returning!

Wonderful trip and lodging to say the least. The house is close to the center of town and close to the beach. It’s a great place with lots of sleeping space if you need it. Very nice pool and large decks. We will be back for sure.

Great place to stay if you have pets! We were able to enjoy the pool while the dogs played in the yard. The golf cart was an added bonus and was great to use while on the island. Will definitely be staying again!

Comfortable and close to all activities. Well stocked kitchen and lots of outdoor space either on ground or on the deck.

The space and pool are excellent. Included golf cart is very helpful as it is a little walk to the beach. We had a small problem with ants. The property manager was friendly and helpful.

My family had a wonderful time at Buddy's Bungalow. The location and views are great. There is a very nice beach at 7th St. which is just a short walk or golf cart ride away. Awesome pool. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking and serving. Comfortable furnishings and lots of room for the kids. Great communication with hosts. We'll definitely be back.

Great location with regard to beach and restaurants. Plenty of space in the house to not feel crowded. Spacious kitchen and is well stocked. Comfy beds with a bathroom on each of the 3 floors. Must be able to climb plenty of stairs. Nice pool!

Everything we expected and needed!

Property in a great location but it is the lower price range for SGI and now we know why. Floors are some form of tongue and grove and are impossible to clean or maintain clean so don’t expect clean floors. Lots of stairs. Part of the property is just not kept well, missing railing on second floor, toilet loose on second floor, extremely loud beds in one room, non-existent curtains so unable to block neighbors bright lights at night. Pool was supposed to be heated but wasn’t ( we ended up noticing because we had bad weather for a couple of days) turns out heater was not working. Really we could overlook all these things based on the price except for the issues with the yard. The fenced yard was a great size but the grass is overgrown and there were fire ants all over. There were wasps and tons of hornets. If we had a toddler or little kid there was no way we would have let them in the yard. To top it all off there were snakes, yes snakes. In the 7 days we were the we saw 5 including one that was in the crack of the deck and got in the pool while a family member was swimming. Notified the owners but little to no follow through. This could be a great place, but we won’t be exposing our dog or baby to the risks again

Everything was clean and as advertised. Enjoyed the pool with fenced in yard. Very short walk to beach and having access to golf cart was a bonus.

Buddy's is located in a quiet area surrounded by native trees and shrubs. A channel off the bay is across the street which provides for an abundance of birds to watch. The bay and one channel can be seen from the property and the Gulf is approximately a 1/3 of a mile down the road. You can hear the waves when on the deck. The fenced in pool area is great. Plenty of grass area for your dog to explore while enjoying the pool. The covered area provides a refreshing break from the sun and can be comfortably used to sit outside during rain. Also the dog can go out without getting wet. The house itself is reasonably comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Some of the furniture in the living area is better suited for your dog then for humans (couch). Buddy's is a good value for what is provided and is a place we would return to. The location is wonderful. My overall score is B+.

Owners and house staff are all super nice. Dog friendly and great yard for them. Love the pool. Well equipped. Had a great time!

The property was beautiful and on a peaceful road. There were several maintenance issues that needed to be worked on and I have let the owners know.

Spent Thanksgiving week at Buddy’s Bungalow with family, including two small children and two dogs. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and the golf cart rides to the beach. The beach, actually only a 5-minute walk, was great. We didn’t mind all the stairs in the house, but could imagine they might be too much for some. The kitchen was well-stocked, but the furnishings elsewhere are about due for a refreshing,. Tim and Pam were very responsive.

We enjoyed the house! Didn't realize how many steps there were but we got a great workout each day! We had issues with the televisions and the stove/oven but besides that we had a calm rainy vacation! The days that were beautiful we got to use the golf cart to explore and that came in handy. Overall we had a nice time.

The property is "comfortably used" so we were not worried that we would destroy anything. The 46 steps from bottom to top were great exercise. The pool was the perfect size and so much fun! Being able to use the golf cart made it easy to get to and from the beach. We loved it!! Children and adults!!

We had a wonderful time exploring SGI. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and we could easily access the bay and the gulf. The pool was refreshing and relaxing after the day at the beach or state park. We loved our stay.
