Perfect venue and perfect hosts

Absolutely nothing!

Beautiful accommodation and very clean and tidy.

We had such a perfect weekend at Kidwelly Cottages self catering house for my Mum’s 60th birthday. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond even taking the children to feed the chickens which they loved. The house has everything you could need, spacious with en suites for each bedroom and gorgeous mezzanines in the living space and master bedroom. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the whole place is very clean. The hot tub was a real bonus, even through the weather was poor it was lovely to be able to relax outside in the warmth of the pool. The kids also loved having a little play area just outside the house and we made use of the brand new barbecue. We wished we could stay for longer!

Nothing, all perfect!

We had a lovely 4 night stay in Y Felin cottage. It was even better than we had imagined. It was so peaceful and just what we needed. Hosts Peter and Ann were friendly and helpful, suggesting places of interest. It was a nice welcome to find welsh cakes, toffee waffles, fresh eggs and tea and coffee on arrival. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could need for cooking and cleaning. Lovely quality towels and shower gel and hand-wash provided in all the bathrooms. We enjoyed the magnificent panoramic views, being in the countryside on a working farm, seeing the animals and also the sea views. We visited Tenby twice during our stay and also Pembrey Country Park which was surprisingly close by with an amazing long stretch of sandy beach. Our children loved climbing the sand dunes. We visited Carmarthen too, Saundersfoot and Kilgetty Castle which is on the doorstep. You feel in you are in the middle of the glorious welsh countryside but also very well connected to local conveniences and beaches at the same time. I loved the lane leading to the cottage with beautiful daffodils on both sides. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was a luxury that we really enjoyed. The children loved the play area, the massive trampoline and the play pig and chicken houses with the toy kitchen. They loved the ride on toys too and interacting with the farm animals next door. The barn conversion has been done to such a high standard. We were really impressed. We can't find any faults and will definitely return and recommend to family and friends. It was so lovely we didn't want to leave! Thank you for having us!

Once quite area

Host wasn't very friendly or helpful.

We loved the positioning of the property, sea views, peace and tranquility....but only 20 minutes from nearest town. Very good use as a base to travel to other areas
