Wonderful home to take in a beautiful view of the Columbia River and Gorge. House has everything needed for cooking and relaxation. Beds were all comfortable and plenty of room for eight adults.

Just an incredible house. THE BEST view of the Gorge from the hot tub no less!! Walking distance to an incredible coffee shop, an adorable brew-pub, the world's most beautiful swimming hole. Such a special place, thank you so much for sharing it with us!!!

We gathered as an extended family with friends for a wedding in the area. It was a great space for the kids and for family meals. We loved the hikes in the area

House was amazing!! View was fanominal!! Hot tub and pool table was icing on the cake!! We have a family of 16, four kids and 12 adults. We rented both houses and it was perfect!! Both houses had everything we needed close to Hood River, just cant say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

The location is great to get to and from Hood River. The hot tub with views of the gorge was a real highlight. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this property for future stays.

The kids loved the bunk beds and toys. The adults loved the hot tub and views. Nearby hikes and wineries were close and easy. We’ll be back!

Pictures do not do this place justice. Views are spectacular! Our family celebrated a wedding in the area and were able to come home to amazing views and amenities. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed here with total of 6 family members for a short stay. Nice we each had our own bedroom (needed 4 for our group) but room for more in each bedroom. Arrived late at night and would have been nice to have automatic lights for entry. Beautiful view from the porch!

We rented both houses and it worked out great. Both houses were well stocked, clean and the view was to die for, better than the pictures. Easy drives to Mt Hood, Multnomah Falls, wineries and so much more.

Great modern house with perfect layout for a small group. Spacious comfortable bedrooms. Large living room and open kitchen. There's so much to do nearby, whether it's hiking and swimming in mosier or making a short drive to hood river, white salmon, the dalles etc etc. Oh and of course THE VIEW!!! Spacious balcony with large hot tub and a truly spectacular view of the columbia river gorge. Jill is a very accommodating host and the whole trip went perfectly. Cant wait to do it again!

Great house with lots of room for all the family to gather for a wedding in white salmon. Appreciated the cable for watching the Celtics game, hot tub was lovely and we were able to make a great dinner in a kitchen that was more than adequate.

Town of Moiser is very close to Hood River. When in Moiser stop at the Moorhead, Great place for a drink and food but has limited hours. Cute grocery store very close with everything you need. Delicious taco truck too! Very relaxing time!

We stayed at this property with my teenager kids and my parents. The view was beautiful even in the winter and the house was well equipped for our needs. The pool table was a big hit and we had hours of fun playing as a family. I would be happy to stay here again.

We enjoyed the beautiful view from the living room and deck. The online photos were very accurate, and we had plenty of space for six adults-- and could see that it would be a good house for families as well. Host was very responsive to all our inquiries. Definitely would like to stay here again!

Ideal for large family groups/reunions. Our stay was for our daughter's delayed wedding reception, originally scheduled for October 2020. The official wedding happened on October 2, 2020, but we had to reschedule the reception for June of 2021 due to COVID restrictions. Our family is spread out across the country (New Hampshire, Oregon, Rhode Island, and South Carolina) and we rarely get the opportunity to be all in one place at the same time. We felt very much at home in this rental and made family memories that will last us a lifetime. The view from the deck is amazing overlooking the Gorge at any time, day or night. Sunsets, stargazing, and even rainbows can be seen from the top floor deck of the house. Our almost-two-year-old granddaughter had plenty to play with. She had many options with the closet stocked with many toys to choose from! Be extra careful when using the driveway - very steep! We arrived during the overnight hours and lighting throughout the neighborhood is minimal. It took us a bit of time trying to be sure we had the right house at that time of night due to low neighborhood lighting. I struggled a bit with the lockbox. Bring a flashlight to help you navigate. We wish we had more time to just relax and enjoy our surroundings but we had a wedding to host! Beautiful spot!

What a view to wake up to every day! Every window and door on the front side of the house and guest house have breathtaking views of the Columbia River. We were fortunate to spend a week in this home and guest home. With ten people we never felt crowded. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, plenty of towels were provided including some beach towels for the wonderful hot tub. Our family enjoyed the pool table most nights, as well as the games in the closet. Both the front deck and the backyard have comfortable seating which we used frequently. Jill, owner of the home and guest house, was so helpful with questions before and during our stay. She was very easy to work with and we would highly recommend Hawk's View and Hawk's Nest! This area is wonderful to explore. We hiked the Mosier Plateau trail right from the house, and the kids took a quick dip in the Mosier Swimming Hole on that trail (down a steep bank.....harder for older adults). The Rowena Plateau trail, the Mosier Twin Tunnels, Timberline Lodge at Mt. Hood, the Tamanawas Waterfall trail near Mt. Hood were other trails we hiked and enjoyed. The Grove of the Patriarchs trail up at Mt. Rainier (on our way back to SEA to fly home) was worth the trip! Our favorite activity of the week was going on a guided tour with Sol Rides ~ the e-bikes made it so easy to ride 20 miles of hilly terrain! And it was a great way to see the area. The Sternwheeler boat trip was also fun, up at Cascade Locks. You will not regret a trip to the Columbia Gorge area, especially if you rent this place as your home base!
