Very comfortable and well provisioned. Close to our friends' house for easy walk to join them for gathering. Quiet location and easy walk to the lake for water fun. Nearby town of Groveland fun and cute. Ate with live music at the Iron Door. Bonus: Mama doe nursed her fawn outside back deck most days.

Let me start by saying that the home was spacious and cozy for our party of five and we had a lovely stay. It did not start off on the right foot, though, because the local Vacasa representative had forgotten to put our name on the parking list. We arrived at 11:00pm, had already waited in line for about 15 minutes, and then had to call Vacasa headquarters and get back at the end of the line just to enter the premises. (And I am not totally sure why we needed to pay to park when the home had a very large driveway. . .) The house overall was comfortable but a bit dusty and worn. It could definitely use some freshening up and some TLC. The sheets on the beds and towels were clean, but there were a lot of cobwebs throughout the house. We found some extra sheets crumpled in a ball in one of the closets, but there were not enough pillow cases. If you are used to the level of service provided by other vacation rental services such as Airbnb, this experience will be a bit disappointing. For example, you get one bag per trash can if you happen to fill up the first one (which is easy to do when you are doing your own cooking). You only get two pellets for the dishwasher. There was a tiny bit of salt and sugar and some coffee filters, but no spices or cooking oil. The kitchen shelves were labeled with photos for the dishes, which detracted from the homey feeling of the place. (There was also a sign asking us to save water by allowing "two tinkles" before we flushed the toilet . . . eww!!!) On a positive note, the neighborhood is beautiful, we enjoyed the front deck surrounded by pine trees, and the Vacasa headquarters was very communicative. The place has potential and could be improved with a little more personalized service and some TLC to the property.

This place was warm, cozy, and better than the pictures. We walked in and were in instant, relaxing vacation mode. The frogs chirping at night from the creek was a pleasant, outdoor sound, and a few deer came through the yard. Good place for adults, kids, and families.

The house is nice and clean close to Marina beach

Our family stayed three nights and enjoyed the silence of the forest. Good equipped and lovely decorated house, not high tech but comfortable. Deers came very close to the terrace, lovely. Short driving distance to the lake which is great for swimming and water sports. Would come again.

A great place to bring the family for a wonderful holiday in such a fabulous location. I only wish we had more time to spend at the property.

Great Location, near the market and the road to Yosemite.

House was clean. It had a few extra things that we didn’t bring.

Location was good - about 1hr from Yosemite. Guest access to local outdoor pool was a bonus. Really good local store stocked almost all things needed for the duration of stay. Subway and 2 gas stations within 2 miles. 2 restaurants on site plus golf course. Property was clean, but very dated / tired and in need of modernisation; having said that, everything worked. Shower / bath inherently dangerous - if you book this property, be very careful and mind children as there is no thermostatic control of hot water (boiling hot only - this would not be permitted in a UK holiday let). Oven very old fashioned (electric rings) - again, dangerous if you have small children. Internet extremely slow (almost dial-up speed). No TV stations seemed to be available. Location perhaps a little too quiet for some (and adjacent properties were unoccupied making if seem quite isolated). Property situated within a wooded area. Would have appreciated a map of the site on arrival at property and a personal welcome letter would have been nice. One smoke detector in property. Not suitable for those who struggle to walk (very steep drive approx 1:1 gradient and steps up to door but all in one level inside). Would not visit again based on things that need attention.

The comfort of the house and the peacefullness , even 2 deers passed by while we were sitting on the terras.

The house was comfortable and clean and it was everything in what you need. The handling to get in was simple. A well sorted supermarket is close to the housing area. We had a great time.

A nice house for friends or family to live for holiday. It will take about one hour and half to drive to Yosemite valley. Everything inside of house is perfect.

Verry good place

Over all not too bad but house needs a lots of things to fix and add to feel more comfortable.

The house is very big and comfortably hosts 6 people. The kitchen and living area are also big and nicely furnished. The house itself is located close to Yosemite NP making it a good location for exploring both the Yosemite Valley and Tioga Pass Road. My only issue would be that the price that was initially listed at Booking.com website was not the final price we had to pay (there is an additional cleaning fee and additional parking fee). The prices are still reasonable and I would recommend this house. But I it is always an unpleasant surprise to learn about some additional fees after making a decision to book. Nevertheless it's a very beautiful house and I recommend it!

Fabulous lodge, plenty of room for 6 of us. We loved sitting out on the deck in the evening.
