A true experience staying in a house from the 16th century!
Very spacious, comfortable space.
most of the basics available (salt, peper, oil, shampoo, coffee)
There was construction work ongoing, all the windows were covered by scaffolding and it was noisy from 7.00 in the morning. If you go once this is finished, you will have no issue.

We liked everything 😊 The host was lovely and met us when we arrived. The property was spotless clean and kept in a elegant, old fashion style. Yet, it has all modern features we needed (well equipped kitchen, shower and TV). We felt like we were in an old fashioned film 😊 We chose this property for our overnight stop between Calais and Chamonix and would truly recommend it to everyone 😊

The apartment was big and comfortable for my family of 5. I found it in an excellent location near the city center.
The rooms were equipment with all the facilities I expected and more (including a washing machine, Netflix TV, Playstation and other games for the kids).
The styling of the apartment had a lot of character with antique furnitures and decorations that set the right mood after a long day of travel.
Was sorry I only came for one night.
There are steep stairs to climb for getting into the apartment.

Beautiful original features and very spacious and well equipped. The history of the apartment is very impressive and there’s no much to be impressed by. despite the age of the property everything works really well. it’s warm with a fab shower and excellent facilities. Also right in the centre of town and close to everything.

The location was excellent especially if you are en route to the Alps. Parking was easy. The property is full of character with large room sizes. It was lovely and warm a real bonus as it was freezing outside. We loved the town and it would be a fantastic base to explore Burgundy which we shall probably do now!
It would be good if there was a basic breakfast provided as we arrived late due to snowy conditions on route. Maybe croissants or a baguette? Instructions as to how to use the coffee machine would be useful too though I did figure it out in the end.

It an old spacious apartment. If you like the style like we do it's perfect. Do not expect a modern kitchen or bathroom..

If you're looking for the 16th century apartment to stay - this is a worth option. Located between Dijon and Besançon, Auxonne may be good if you want to explore both cities.
You may find all types of guides to the area in the apartment as well and the host provided us with good and detailed explanation of places to visit. There are plenty of games in the apartment including PlayStation.
The facilities in the apartment are not the 'latest word in technology', but one can't expect that in this 400-old building, you have all you need in any case. Wi-Fi connection was good.

Double bed too big for alcove and needed gymnastics to get in one side. Bads for elderly. Good spacious apartment, weel located but difficult access for elderly.

The house is so beautiful and well preserved and clean. It is a pleasure to stay in and hear the church bells in the morning. The host is nice and helpful. There is coffee, tea plus basic things like oil, spices etc. We're sorry we couldn't spend a bit more time in there!

Location is superb and close to everything. There were Netflix and Prime accounts ready to be streamed for the kids. All facility for cooking is available. Large and comfortable!!

Very friendly, easy transfer of keys. Great, quirky place with lots of space. Enjoyed the table football.

One and the only of its kind! Great location, amazing atmosphere in 16th century building. Very well equipped, you can spend there a lot of time enjoying games (board games, table soccer, cards, play station, netflix etc included.) Plenty space for a family or friends stay. Definitely recomend.

Great location in the old part of town near the church. Very old & characterful property. Really easy key collection and parking. Very spacious and with very comfortable beds. Friendly and welcoming owners. We would highly recommend.
