The beaches were beautiful and only about 15 minutes away. The internet speed was great to work remotely with VPN. Magdalena was great, she was quick to respond to any questions we had. We were a little concerned because there weren't any recents reviews but so glad we booked and will definitely be returning.

Everything was wonderful with our 6 week stay! The house was clean with beautiful and comfortable furniture inside and outside on the lanai. The pool was clean and the water was heated to a perfect temperature with solar heating. The pool area is very private and it felt like we were in our very own tropical oasis. The pictures do not do the property justice. Since the photos were taken, the kitchen has been updated with gorgeous white cabinets and brand new stainless steel appliances and there is a new front door. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would possibly need and there is also a grill outside. Magdalena was a fantastic host and very responsive and available by email or phone call/text. The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors we came across were very friendly. We enjoyed exploring the nearby Englewood Beach area, downtown Englewood, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Venice and Sarasota-especially Siesta Key Beach and St. Armand's Circle. We would definitely stay again if given the chance and highly recommend this gorgeous home to anyone!

Enter into the beautiful open concept living area and open the wall of sliding doors to the incredible pool and lanai and you know you are now on vacation. The home is in excellent condition, clean, very well equipped and very well laid out with a totally separate guest wing. Pool privacy still allows views of the canal full of birds, fish and where an occasional alligator lazily swims-by. The neighbourhood was exceptionally quiet during our stay and any encounters with other residents was greeted with friendly waves. Lots to see and do in the area but book early for boat rentals and get to the beaches early..some were filled up by 11 am. We took a couple of days mid-vacation to visit Miami and Key West but our return to Rotonda truly felt like we were returning home. 5 stars all around!

Fellow travelers. Over the 5 years we have been coming to Florida through VRBO listings, this home is one of the best. Just looking at the calendar should tell you that the rental is extremely popular and justifiably so. Every picture is accurate. The pool and lanai are great places to relax, get some sun, and enjoy a swim. The pool is solar heated and………there is a supplemental electric heater that is very efficient. There are lots of tenant toys in the garage like golf equipment, bikes, and pool gear. If you like golf, there are 2 courses within 5 minutes of the house. Finally, you’ll find a great selection of very good restaurants all quite close by. The MBR bed is comfortable. All of the closets are large with ceiling lights, and heating/cooling. The home design utilizes a series of pocket doors at both ends of the house. This system maximizes space yet preserves privacy throughout the home. The kitchen is generous and efficient. Enjoy a meal on the pool deck with seating for six and a view of the pool waterfall. The great room includes a LCD TV plus a DVR and the various Comcast routers and modems. We had no issues with the wireless internet or with the channel choices. Our only suggestion would be to add another TV in the MBR. There is a garage and it is great to park your car out of the elements. The house is situated on a double lot near the canal with many palm trees and privacy plantings surrounding the pool. There are various fruit bearing trees and if you like citrus products, go pick some oranges, lemons, or occasional grapefruits. Magdalena is the owner and she has been great to work with. She is caring, concerned, and responsive to any issues or concerns. So, don’t wait another minute, book it now. We already did for 2017.

Last Summer we recently enjoyed our first stay in Magdalena's house. Everything was fine and professional. After a long travel from France, it was a very good surprise to find a huge villa, very clean, with the pool ( wonderful), lanai, and plenty of very nice bed! We recently enjoyed our third stay in Magdalena's delightful Florida villa. We submitted a review last year and this last stay was every bit as enjoyable as our previous visits. We just stayed in what we feel is the best home in Rotonda West! It exceeded all of our expectations. Magdalena saw to every detail to ensure our comfort. We felt right at home on the oversized lanai which was spectacular with plenty of room to dine and relax in beautiful and comfortable high end patio furniture. The house was immaculately clean and very well maintained. The fruit trees right outside the door made for delicious fresh squeezed juice as well as for eating. Rotonda is a very beautiful and quiet area; a truly great hidden Florida treasure. You are only 10 to 15 minutes away from several great beaches. Stump Pass State Park and Boca Grande were two of our favorites. We saw all sorts of wildlife, the highlight being a nest of American bald eagles!You simply cannot go wrong in staying here. It's the perfect place for a wonderful vacation! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked for next year!

Having visited Rotunda West for the last 15 years I can report this is one of the best rental properties on the estate. A great deal of thought has been placed on the comfort of clients, especially the outdoor living area where the patio furniture is top quality. The welcome items are nice touch and not seen enough in most rental properties. Magdalena kept in touch and vacation of 4 weeks went without a hitch.
