I was looking forward to the private session of the spa facilities

Room had bugs and flies. No shower gel. Dirty utensils. Our private session was meant to be 8-9, but we were not alone for about 10-15 mins because there was another couple, who should not have been there. Late night there were shouting and banging for some reason. Walls are paper thin so not really ideal.

The facilities

Many broken things, door didn’t lock, back door broken, wasn’t very clean, rude owners banging on the wall instead of knocking because of noise

This place is absolutely wonderful, the decor is unique and the surroundings are breathtaking. They go above and beyond when it comes to the details of your stay. We met Lorraine she was lovely and we could tell that she really cared about what she was offering. The pool, hot tub and sauna in the evening were amazing it looked jaw dropping and it was so relaxing. We had afternoon tea on arrival and let's just say there was nothing left as it was too good. The decor had homely finishing touches that you don't get if the hosts don't care or have become too lazy. I would 100% recommend you give this a look as I can't praise it enough :) thank you black barn :)

I loved the room it has so much space.

I didn't like the idea of cameras everywhere no privacy at all.

The location was nice. The surrounding area was very nice.

First when I arrived there was no parking spaces. Then I walked into the black barn to face an open laundry room door with some dirty shoes on the floor. I walked down the hallway to find my room looking for someone to help and was swiftly told to ‘leave this is a a private area!’ (even though the door was open??). I was shown to my room which low and behold hidden behind the door to the private area. Great start to a romantic night away; made to feel like a trespasser! The room itself was not as described, no hot tub included, no self-contained living area and kitchenette (as described)… just …. A room. Inside the draws was someone bag of old lunch. By this point I could still power through but then the neighbours having sex sounded so clear they might as well have been on the end of my bed. We went home at 9-10pm as I just couldn’t stay. Do not recommend!! Looks lovely on the pics, sounds lovely but it is not worth wasting your money on. It feels like someone has put the effort into the property but no attention into the actual stay of the person or the business.

I didn’t have a breakfast as when I booked I thought it was included in the price but my mistake.

I liked every piece of black barn farm so quiete tranquil and relaxing

The view from the room was amazing! All the little touches of the room and outside area the lights plants everything was so pretty. It was breath taking. The room was so clean and made up to perfection, the pool, hot tub and outside area was spectacular. Highly recommend!

property was perfect for a break away from reality,loved our stay will definitely be coming back.
