Well maintained property in lovely location

We had a lovely 4-night stay at this cabin, complete with pine floors, wood ceilings, and the best front porch for enjoying the mountain air. The cabin was super clean and well kept. Beds were quite comfortable. An easy drive to get there, but privacy where you can’t see other houses. Great communication with the owners who were very helpful and sweet.

We had a great stay for 1-1/2 weeks at Mountain Laurel Cabin! The cabin is roomy, secluded, and just as described. It was very well stocked and included towels, linens, toilet paper, paper towels, and everything you would need in the kitchen. It was quiet and tucked away in the woods out of sight of any other homes. The location was perfect to get to downtown Asheville, the River Arts District, grocery shopping, restaurants, and a beautiful drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway (only 20 minutes away). We had a great time and enjoyed meeting the owners. We would definitely recommend this cabin and would love to return.

The cabin is tucked away in a mountain but close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway so you get seclusion and access to a city. The cabin description is accurate, the hosts communicate well, and the area is beautiful.

We loved the property and enjoyed our stay. It was very convenient to Asheville and the Biltmore. It was very clean and inviting and decorated for Christmas. Having two bathrooms was great and the kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, tea, condiments, spices and all the cooking and serving supplies you need. We shopped at the nearby Ingles and easily prepared two hot meals each day. The fireplace and firewood are wonderful. I highly recommend Mountain Laurel Cabin.

We had a short 2-night stay but it was excellent. The house was clean and was exactly as described. We didn't want for anything. It wasn't a bad drive to the Biltmore and there was an Ingles fairly close. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!!

The cabin is beautiful inside and outside with lots of kitchen and living space for a larger family. The wood burning fireplace was a feature we wanted and we so enjoyed it. The cabin was stocked with all of the essentials as expected and the furnishings were very comfortable. We desired absolutely nothing that was not available to us. The owner was attentive and the communication was excellent. Thanks Mitzi ! I have stayed in many VRBO and other properties. This is my favorite so far. I will highly recommend the property to my friends and family. Certainly hope we can go back to Mountain Laurel Cabin again sometime.

The cabin is clean and cozy. Mitzi was kind and warm. Queen beds were a bit hard for my comfort, but some guests will not be bothered by that. (My husband was not! Lol!) Our getaway was delightful. Recommend this property.

Communication was a breeze. House more then fit our needs. Great location! We got rained out a day or two when we were hiking. It was so relaxing coming back and cooking a yummy dinner there. Very peaceful. Thank You Mitzi!

We booked the cabin as a romantic getaway for my In-Laws 50th wedding anniversary and they loved it. The view was beautiful and as they both love being in the mountains, it was the perfect cabin retreat for them and a great place to put their feet up after exploring Asheville and scenic mountain drives. They loved it!

Property was well maintained and clean -especially during this time having to deal with COVID issues, it was great to be in a very comfortable setting. If you want to unplug, be quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life (and still be close enough to various distractions in Asheville and surrounding communities)- this was a pleasant get-away location for us!

Everything was perfect! House had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommended. Lovely host!

I've rented from VRBO for a very long time and this property is one of the cleanest I've had. This is the first time that the kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen ware and there was even spices and COFFEE. Very well maintained and easily accessible.

The cabin is well kept and in a beautiful private location. Check in instructions were precise and easy to follow. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning some day.

This was a very nice, secluded cabin that was perfect for our needs.

Every step of the way, this cabin exceeded our expectations. So many thoughtful touches throughout the cabin which make your stay better. We’ll be back and for longer next time!

The cabin was excellent as was the location. It was a fantastic 4 days and would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. This was our first time using VRBO and I was a little nervous. The directions to the cabin were detailed and well thought out, as were the instructions for using the cabin. The host, Mitzi, reached out quickly and answered my numerous questions prior to our arrival. The kitchen was complete with everything needed for cooking, baking, and eating and I needn’t have worried about bringing the sundries I did. The hosts have thought of everything. The night we arrived the sky was clear and the view of the sky filled with stars was awesome! The next day we enjoyed walking/hiking up the mountain path and admiring the view—a definite bonus to staying there. We loved the open floor plan of the cabin but the only thing I didn’t catch was that due to the open plan, the loft bedroom is open to the great room so noises in the kitchen were heard above and vice-versa. We would totally rent it again and would recommend staying there.

Property is on cul-de-sac so privacy is maintained. You don’t have to go far away for hiking trail. Lot of space and beds for the price. Owners are excellent hosts. Response time is quick. Very nice for adult and children. I wish for a second private bedroom if one family have a child.

Mitzie promptly responded to all of our questions. Upon arrival at the cabin, we found it to be quaint and spotless. Nice quiet location. We enjoyed our stay!

As someone traveling with a small child, it is also nerve-wracking to think of all the gear you need to bring with you! However, Mitzi was prepared with a pack-n-play and even small high chair that made all the difference in lightening the load. There were tons of children's books there which was also a bonus! The home was very well-kept, well-stocked, ample space for a large family or groups of people and was tucked in a cute part of the neighborhood! While we did not have phone signal, the WiFi was excellent in the cabin!

This is our second stay at this wonderful cabin...it is fully stocked with everything needed for a great relaxing weekend. The location is great, the cabin is secluded and private but so close to all the fun in Asheville!
