Everything was perfect. Loved the location of the unit! Furnishings were ideal. Communications before and during our stay were very helpful. I would definitely return to this unit.

My daughter and her family stayed in this condo. She said it was a very nice unit. The only downside was the hairdryers were terrible and smelled bad when used. We should have reported it but we didn’t. The property managers were prompt with any request that we made. It was a great week vacation.

Background: This was the third trip to Maui for my wife and I, and we were a total party of 8 (6 adults and 2 young children). First time staying on the West side. Previous stays were in Wailea and Kihei. Property Management: From time of booking through checkout, we received excellent communication on payment requests, check-in and checkout procedures, and special requests. We did not have anything wrong with the property that required assistance, so I cannot comment on their responsiveness, although I have no reason to believe it would have been anything other than prompt and professional. Good problem to have! Condo: As the title says, phenomenal. Honoa Kai is a beautiful resort, and our condo really was perfect. More details below: Lanai: Awe-inspiring. View of the property and ocean were awesome and provided excellent views of the ocean, the sunset, and the people. The lanai does overlook the pools, but there were NEVER any privacy or noise concerns. It was great to be able to look down and see my children and their grandparents in the pool. Additionally, the lanai wraps around and also provides beautiful views of the mountains. The wraparound part helps with the airflow and keeps it extremely comfortable even when cooking on the grill. The grill worked great and had an outdoor fridge and pantry for all your cooking needs. We used it multiple times during our stay. Lastly, the glass walls open up completely (and easily) between the lanai and the living room / kitchen and create a wonderful open feel. Needless to say, we all spent a great deal of time here! Bedrooms/Bathrooms: Perfect and huge! Two master bedrooms were essentially apartments unto themselves. Master baths were absolutely top notch. The third bedroom was beautiful as well and right next to the third bathroom (although not en suite). Only seems small because the masters are so huge! Each bedroom has its own AC control, so if some like it hot, it doesn't penalize the others! Misc: Place was stocked with everything needed: kitchenware, laundry, beach toys. No need for anything else. Honoa Kai resort: Free valet parking made travel easy. Never waited more than a few minutes for car pickup. Pools were beautiful and easy to access. Beach short walk, although we spent most of the time at the pool. Dukes was always busy, so make reservations if desired. I'm out of characters, but this was a phenomenal property and amazing stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Hawaii living at its best. Spacious and well-appointed condo, perfect for families or multiple couples. Great location, terrific views, amazing property with all the amenities. We will definitely be back.

We celebrated by parents 50th anniversary in this condo with my family. The condo is simply gorgeous. We loved sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need! We couldn't be happier and can't wait to go back!

Thank you Maui Resort Rentals for finding us the perfect home for a perfect vacation. I couldn’t imagine that the unit could be as beautiful as the pictures that were posted, but they were actual pictures of our condo. Loved that we could fold all the glass doors to open up the inside to the wonderful lanai, the well kept grounds and pools. This ocean front condo had everything that my family of four adults and two children needed. Maui Resort Rental called us the day we were arriving to make check in very easy. Called again mid week to see that everything was satisfactory, and the day before leaving making check out a breeze. If I ever get to Maui again, I will be at the Honua Kai Konea and hopefully 402. Mahala

Our family of eight had a perfect vacation in this lovely condo. Everything was exactly as promised with comfortable space for everyone. The resort is beautiful and very well run. We will be returning soon!

Beautiful vacation home. The three King bedrooms and three baths worked great for our family. Just a very relaxing place to stay and the balcony is great for whale watching. Furniture was very comfortable in the living room and also on the balcony. We also loved having the big tub and walkin tile shower in the two master suits.

Great suite at the Hanoa Kai. Everything was first class (plenty or room, Viking/Bosch appliances) -- but still a good value versus the cost of lodging 6 adults and one infant elsewhere in Kaanapali. Maui Realty made the whole process easy. Definitely coming back.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property! We could see whales jumping from the lanai! Everything was just as described and we could not have been happier.

Had a great time in Konea 402. Very spacious inside and out. Quiet building and easy access to all the resort had to offer. the large lanai was a great gathering space for breakfast and sunset dinners. The only drawback was the laundry - they are apartment size units and the dryer is ventless - so it took a long time to get anything dry, especially towels. The folks at Maui Resort Realty were great to work with throughout the process and we'd definitely be back.

The 3 bedroom condo fit our party of 8 very comfortably. The condo is very well stocked for cooking and beach going. Maui Resort Realty was great to work with! They were very prompt with all inquiries and questions, as well as making the check in process very smooth. We highly recommend staying in this unit and can't wait for the next time to return!

Our family enjoyed every moment of our stay at this property. Maui Resort Realty had our keys and unit ready for us upon landing at the airport. The Honua Kai is a beautiful property and our unit had an incredible ocean view. The unit was immaculate and stocked with all of the beach equipment and towels you could need. They also have a cooler and umbrella which allows for long stays down by the ocean or pool. We were extremely happy with the kitchen/family room off the main deck. We were able to barbeque on the deck and watch the sunsets. Duke's restaurant on the property offered great lunch and dinner options. We especially enjoyed walking every morning on the beach walk that goes from the property all the way down to Whaler's village. If you like to snorkel, this property is heaven sent as you can simply go straight off the beach over the reef to see fish and turtles. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone hoping for a first class experience!

You know you have found the perfect place to vacation when you walk into this property! The 180 degree view of the ocean and the resort is the first impression of this incredible place! The retractable floor to ceiling glass doors surrounding the unit allows the views and ocean air to inundate the beautiful living room and gourmet kitchen, making it feel like paradise. And from then on, it only gets better - from the heavenly beds and soaking tubs down to the details, such as the Vitamix, All-Clad cookware and Henkel knives. Having 3 kids, the well-equipped spacious kitchen and the gas grill made cooking during our vacation convenient and a pleasure - we had many relaxing meals in the lanai watching the sunset. The unit was very well maintained and it offered everything needed for a very enjoyable vacation (sand toys, snorkel equipment, towels, toiletries, games, puzzles). And if you need anything else, Larry from Maui Resort Realty was prompt, friendly and provided a smooth check in and follow up service. We loved our time here, and although we have been to Maui before, having stayed here this time has made Maui an even more special place to visit. So if you are looking for paradise, this is the place for you!

This was our first time using Maui Resort Reality, and I couldn't ask for anything else. The entire process was smooth. They answered any and all my questions the same day. A few requests I made were taken care of. The property itself was wonderful. Me and my family will surely be using them again next year when we are back for our annual Maui trip.
