I looked forward to this trip for months. Arriving at the property in person was everything the photos promise and more. The beds were comfortable, the setting peaceful, and we had everything we needed there. If we ever get to come back I will definitely try to book again.

This house is so adorable - the photos don't do it justice. We were a group of 4 adults and we all enjoyed every aspect of our stay. We did very little cooking, but the kitchen was very well stocked. I'd stay here again for sure!

Property was nice overall. It felt secluded even though in a neighborhood. I would’ve liked to have easier access to the nearby river. There’s no access within walking distance. Several dishes were not clean - we had to wash them prior to using. I suggest the cleaners check this upon checkout.

Absolutely charming, quiet property! Wonderful yard for relaxing in the evenings, if you're back by then. Easy jaunt to Glacier National Park. I can see returning just to enjoy the quiet escape. The wooded setting very much appeals to me.

Nice quite place close to Glacier National Park. Accommodated 3 adults and 2 kids comfortably. We didn’t use the fire pit area due to weather, but it looked like a nice setup to enjoy a fire and roast marshmallows. Hot tub was really nice, and we used it every night after hiking in Glacier. Overall a good stay.

We loved this home. It is actually prettier than the pictures. The outdoor surroundings are gorgeous. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit after a long day of hiking. The cabin had everything we needed. Just keep in mind there are stairs to both bedrooms and you’ll have to maneuver stairs at night for bathrooms. Good to keep in mind for older or younger ones. We would definitely come back.

This was the perfect home for us, clean, comfortable, has everything you need and is a great location between West Glacier and Whitefish. The Going to the Sun Road wasn't open but there was still plenty to see: Hungry Horse Dam, Bigfork, Lake McDonald, and Whitefish is a fun town. We took Amtrak in, and I would recommend stopping in Whitefish rather than West Glacier as it's easier to get transportation from that station. Hot tub, Wi-Fi, board games, plenty of TV options, everyone was very happy with this beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it with us!

MT Review My wife, 4 month old, and I stayed here for the first time in mid March. Hungry Horse is a great location logistically for the West Glacier area. The property is in town with neighboring residential properties very close by, but it was a quiet atmosphere. While the majority of roads in the area were plowed and dry, the side roads of Hungry Horse were still significantly covered in snow and ice due to the town being located in a valley and temperatures still dropping below freezing at night. The driveway and walk way to the front door were still covered in a sheet of ice for the duration of our stay, so we just had to tread carefully. The driveway is flat, so you can manage with 2WD vehicles. The house itself is unique and a little bit dated, but clean and spacious. Could use some light switch labels in my opinion. We used the upstairs rooms for sleeping and the master bathroom for showering. Pack-n-play was provided; that was a huge help for us. The downstairs bathroom adjacent to the main living space would get very cold as well as the mud room. We used the wood stove extensively; it will raise the upstairs room temperatures considerably. Make sure that flume handle parallels the floor. Kitchen was decent, but you have to watch the stove. The right front burner is either all the way on or off making for some high speed cooking. Other burners worked fine. Also, would have loved to have a plastic/non-metal spatula for flipping pancakes. Otherwise, a well stocked kitchen. Hot tub was a little dated, but worked well. The cover is very heavy and not attached to a folding hinge, so make sure you work out before lifting solo or team lift (there’s ice on the ground out there). Laundry worked great. Host was great!

Had a great time at the property. The place had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Definitely will stay again.

I checked into the cabin with my valentine bride to start our honeymoon. With a February wedding in Montana, it was nice to park right in the garage and not have to deal with the snow or ice when loading or unloading the car. We enjoyed a cozy cabin with a warm fire in the stove; and time in the hot tub while it snowed. We appreciated the treehouse like feel and unique architecture of the house and snowmobiled with a nearby outfitter in Glacier National Park.

What a gem! Sub-freezing temps didn’t stop us from loving the cabin.

We loved everything about this place. The cutest, most unique house. Very attentive host. Fully stocked. Minutes from Glacier national park. The weather was cold but the cabin was warm! Close to fun little shops and good food, supermarket, post office and gas station literally within walking distance. Such a beautiful area. Be sure to visit the hungry horse damage- an unexpected fine. We would highly recommend this to anyone!

My third time staying at this location for a solo-retreat. I love the seclusion, the beautiful back yard, and the warm and cozy house.

The property was perfect for our stay in Glacier-National-Park . Check in and check out was easy. Property had everything we needed for stay. House was located on a heavily wooded lot The scenery was gorgeous Enjoyed making several meals ,relaxing around fire pit, and soaking in hot tub after spending the day in Glacier-National-Park.

We had a great time for our parents 60th anniversary. We visited the west entrance and many things are shutdown for winter, but we went on lovely drives to see the trees turning yellow and orange. It was a little difficult for them to maneuver up the stairs so they stayed in the living room on the hide a bed. We made a special memory!:) Thank you Holly.

We loved this house! The location is outstanding. The drive to the Glacier west entrance is so short we were able to run over to the park at dusk to look for animals in the evenings. It has a beautiful yard and inviting hot tub. Very clean! We would happily return!

This was the perfect house for our mountain trip!! I loved all the beautiful woodwork of this house!! The location is great and our host was very quick to respond! The only suggestion I would make is curtains in bedrooms and bathrooms.

We loved the unique layout of the house and how it was furnished and amenities provided. We used the fire pit one evening and the hot tub for two evenings. The location was ideal for the time we spent at GNP. Also very close to a super market. We hope to come back someday!

My family and I had an amazing time at Holly’s property in Hungry Horse. The proximity to the west side of the park really can’t be beat, and her home was a wonderful respite after long days of hiking. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and having a fire under the stars in the back yard. Would most definitely book this place again if we’re lucky enough to make it back to Glacier!

We had a great experience at a great location. Easy to get to Glacier and other towns for eating. The bed was comfortable but be forewarned I don’t think the master bedroom has AC. It cooled off at night so it wasn’t bad. Enjoyed time sitting out back around the fire ring. Would stay again!
