This is a mixed review based honestly on our stay. The condo itself is very comfortable, large, very nicely decorated and well equipped. The patio is large with plenty of furniture and a great view of the mountains.
Unfortunately there are some negatives too. The pools and spas throughout Mission Hills were disgusting. They are obviously not well maintained and until we complained to the owner, they were unusable. We were there in very hot weather and for a week we were without a pool. The pool nearest to us was finally cleaned after a week but the spa was not. The spa was left filthy for the rest of our stay. The pool area/furniture was never maintained.
Also it might be considered by the owner to make sure that the condo is inspected prior to a new tenant’s arrival if it has been left empty for a while. It was obvious from the huge amount of dust build up in the condo that this had not been done. Another reason is that there were a lot of cockroaches in the condo scuttling across the floor, and also found 2 in the towel cupboards. This happened throughout our stay. These concerns could easily be remedied by a simple inspection. So it is not a reflection of the condo itself.
I don’t like to leave a negative review but I think these issues should be pointed out. If the issues are fixed there would be no problem.

Simply Amazing!
Everything about this VRBO was amazing! Loved the location, the cleanliness, the decor, well-stocked kitchen, comfy bed, bikes, golf course and the list goes on!! The highlight of course is the wonderful view of the lake and mountains. Sitting outside with our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening and watching the ducks and other water fowl on the lake was so relaxing. Highly recommend this beautiful place!!!

Great Place!
We have stayed here a few times and enjoyed it very much. The home is nicely appointed with everything you need in a lovely environment filled with beautiful art and lots of books. It's comfortable and restful with a lake view and is well located near shopping and restaurants. Looking forward to our next stay.

Beautiful Location
The setting for this property was perfect. Overlooking the lake from the patio was a perfect setting for breakfast and lunch. The interior was one of the cleanest properties that we have stayed in. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable, we don't always find that in rentals. Overall very pleased. Thank You David and Emily for sharing your house with us.

Wonderful Stay in Mission Hilss CC
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There are so many things to enjoy with this unit. That view is unbeatable! It has large windows, an open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen and everything you need to feel at home. Added bonuses like the telescope, binoculars, nice patio furniture, barbecue, books, bikes and golf cart made this an exceptional place to relax and enjoy our time in the desert. We hope to come back again!

Spectacular setting!
This gem in Rancho Mirage is paradise. The condo is well appointed with everything you could possibly need and then some. Top notch appliances and all other amenities are first rate.. Very lush and quiet neighborhood with a fabulous patio overlooking a lake with a scenic mountain backdrop. You will not be disappointed if you decide to stay here!

Great house!
We loved everything about this rental. We have been renting in Mission Hills for many years, and this unit was one of the nicest we have every been in. The location, cleanliness, and everything we needed was there ! Having the golf cart was wonderful, and parking in the garage was great, out of the heat.
We would give this unit a 10 if that was possible.

Great Getaway!
We really enjoyed this condo. It has everything you need and very comfortable for two people. The outdoor patio is beautiful and has a wonderful view! The community pool is very near and the bikes are nice to use around the large gated community. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Over-delivers
Yes, a 1BR, but big and spacious! 1120sf. Great BR, large and great 2-sink bathroom, massive shower. Wonderful huge”great room” w well-equipped and excellently functional kitchen, Bkfst counter seating, big living room and dining table. All in a room w 180 degree views of the mountains and the gorgeous lake in front of you w egrets, mallards, and an occasional pelican. Super backyard eating and lounging, excellent outdoor grill-/PLUS, the place is stocked w remarkable levels of backup supplies, and I haven’t mentioned the great beach beater bikes nor the GOLF CART (although the course is private and you can’t play). A+ hosts who are very responsive! Highly recommended for a couple.

Wonderful Condo in Great Location and Setting
The condo was perfect for our week-long stay in the desert. We absolutely loved looking out over the lake (watching the ducks and coots) with the mountains in the background from the living room and the back patio. The condo was very nicely decorated, comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed. It's location in Mission Hills/Rancho Mirage was central to most everything that we wanted to do up and down the valley. We also enjoyed taking a leisurely walk around the gated community each morning. We couldn't have been happier with our accommodations and will certainly try to be a return guest the next time we visit greater Palm Springs.

Great repeat stay
We were looking forward to our return visit and wish we had been able to stay longer. We hope to return; however, given the change in the city rules on short-term rentals, limiting them to 30-day minimum duration, starting July?, we may have a narrow window in which we can return and enjoy again. Beautiful Condo and Beautiful Location
Decorated beautifully and everything you need is available. We made a large family meal one night and prepared our own food in the kitchen there for 90% of our trip. Every kitchen tool/dish is there that you will need, for those who worry about taking those things. Plan on enjoying the gorgeous lakeside sunsets nightly 😍 from the amazing patio. Comfy bed too. We loved our trip, thank you.

We were very pleased with this rental! The pictures were 100% accurate. The furniture (bedroom, living room and outdoor) was in great shape and very comfortable. Best stocked kitchen we have been in. The location within this very nice country club was the best!

Wonderful Mission Hills Location!
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and we love it! This home comes complete with all the amenities and spectacular views! Mission Hills is conveniently located in a gated golf course development, quite and serene! I would highly recommend this vacation home to all my friends and family! Mission Hills Beauty
We only had a 2- night stay and temps were too chilly to sit on patio and savor the lake view of Mt. San Jacinto. Still, it was beautiful to see through windows. Bed was comfortable, heating system kept us warm, and the house had every utensil we needed, compared to some STRs we’ve booked before. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Setting
The location is beautiful, right on the pond where one can watch the waterfowl from morning until night. The inside is artistically decorated with a music motif. We enjoyed seeing the sun on the mountain each morning.

We had a very relaxing time. The neighborhood is very quiet. We had a little hicccup when we arrived but Host David was very accommodating. The condo is beautiful and the view too. We will be back.

As soon as we opened the door we could tell that we were going to enjoy our stay…very clean, tastefully decorated, fully equipped with everything you would need and a wonderful patio with a spectacular view of the mountains and lagoon! The kitchen was great. Really enjoyed the gas grill, and the propane fire pit was a plus. David was very responsive when we had an issue with the TV. The Mission Hills property is beautiful and well maintained. Enjoyed walking in the complex and using the golf cart to explore. Would not hesitate to book this rental again.

Living close by in Los Angeles, this home is our getaway home where we can relax and take in the beauty! All the amenities are top notch. The golf cart is an amazing addition to a beautiful place to stay. Evening and early morning outings around the golf course are so fun!

We had a wonderful stay! The place is very clean, well appointed with anything you could need, and well decorated so that you feel comfortable and like you’re at home. Fantastic condo. With great location
Wife and I celebrated our anniversary and everything was top notch. Unit was clean and tidy and comfortable. It was 108 degrees outside but perfect on the inside. Fun with bikes and golf cart . Pools were refreshing in the evening. Will definitely try ti come again.
