We had no guide or assistance, but Andrew gave us both a wonderfully convenient property that was perfectly suited for the 6 of us (which could have comfortably and easily been 8) as well as great guidance on where to eat and what to see while in St. Andrews. They even set-up a wonderful traditional Scottish meal of Shepherd's pie lamb and beef one night. When the opportunity presents itself, we will be back.

Second time we have stayed in this beautiful house. Everything was first class. Perfect location just in the edge of St Andrews - 10 minutes walk to the Old Course. House is absolutely perfect and ideal for large groups. Both Scott and house manager Andy extremely helpful. Can’t rate highly enough - will definitely come back again.

This is a great place for a group of 4 or more to stay in St Andrews. It's a really nice alternative to the expensive hotels in the area. Easy on-street parking. Easy walk to the main area with restaurants and bars. Easy walk to the Old Course. The apartment is really well furnished and has everything you need for a weekend or week-long trip.

We were lucky to be able to enjoy a long stay at the St.Andrews Golf House. The host are very accessible, friendly, and helpful with anything from tee times to wine shops. The house is extremely clean, warm, and equipped with all the luxury linens and towels. If you love to cook or not the kitchen is amazing! My husband & son love the custom putting green and pool table. Great outdoor grill as well. Absolutely beautifully done. We will definitely be back if we ever get the opportunity!

We were visiting St Andrews for the first time and didn't know where to stay. There are many hotels and "inns" to choose from, (including the Old Course Hotel), but we couldn't have been happier with this home! like many people reading this, we travel together to play golf and have fun. However, the most important part of the trip is pending quality time together, and this house was built specifically for that purpose. Every square foot of the house was thoughtfully designed. The four bedrooms downstairs are not large, but they are big enough to sleep comfortably in a king size bed. The attached baths have a nice shower with a "rainfall" showerhead, and lighted mirror. The bed and bath linens are high quality too. The upstairs area has ample space for everyone to hang out and enjoy each other's company. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is well equipped if you want to prepare meals. We did compete on the pool table at night, which helped even some scores that were lost on the golf course! The location is very convenient to Market Street, where we found some great restaurants. Everything in the home is high quality, from the construction to the decor. We would highly recommend staying in the St Andrews Golf Houses!

The property was great! Andy was very helpful. 3 bathrooms/showers so 8 guys could shower quickly every morning. Short walk to downtown st andrews.

Our group of 8 had a fantastic stay. The house location and layout was perfect, and amenities were all great.

What a fantastic place! Would definitely come back for it’s perfect location and great set-up. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the lock mechanism of the front door - a bit hard to work and odd that you had to use a key to lock from the inside as well as outside. Other than that,we HIGHLY recommend this place and hope to return.

If you are a golfer and get the chance to visit St. Andrews, stay here. The house is perfectly located and pristine on the inside. Four bedrooms, a pool table room, a living room with fireplace, great showers, huge kitchen -- I could go on and on. Plus, the owners make sure you are well cared for. We were on a Scotland tour and could not have stayed at a better place in St. Andrews. Book it if you get the chance!!!!!

The house and service, from first contact to check out was amazing. Everything from the modern well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds, to the pool table was of extremely high standard.

Absolutely perfect for golf. The house is situated a 5 minute walk into town and approximately 10 minute walk to the Old Course. The house itself was perfect for us - 7 golfers. Four bedrooms on the ground floor and the main living accommodation on the 1st floor. Pool table was a bonus. Booking the house was very simple with the house owner responding promptly to our enquiry and answering any queries we had. The house manager Andy, was away that week but Cameron and Claire ensured we were taken care of. We will definitely be back up to St Andrews for golf and will definitely book this house as it is the perfect base for a fantastic weeks golfing! Highly recommended.

We recently stayed here for a golf excursion with three additional couples. Immediately, as you walk in this house makes you feel at home. As a group of eight people we all felt comfortable and right at ease for the seven day stay. The concierge, Andy, is absolutely the best at making sure your needs are met and exceeded. Look no further than this property as it is within walking distance to The Old Course and within short rides to many other great courses in the area. Downtown St Andrews is a five minute walk with all its wonderful shops and restaurants. Even food shopping is a quick walk from the house. The best golf experience you can imagine starts with the right accommodation and this is it.

The property was exactly as advertised, centrally located in St. Andrews. Walking distance to city center and St. Andrews golf course. Any Campbell was awesome! He hooked us up with a last minute tee time at The Old Course! Great accommodations!

We had a great stay. the house is modern, with everything you could want. Andy Campbell, the local on the ground manager was great, and helped organize anything we wanted. Highly recommended for golf trips with the guys, or couples.

The entire house was exactly as described and perfect for our golf trip to St. Andrew's. The location was ideal, quiet at night and an easy walk to downtown and the Old Course. We were met at the house by Andy Campbell (house manager and golf consultant), who was more than helpful with golf, restaurant, and pub recommendations. Andy helped us with the Old Course ballot and even showed up at the first tee to wish us luck as we teed off on the Old Course! All in all, a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this house to anyone wishing to enjoy all that St. Andrews has to offer

We were lucky enough to get a tee time at St. Andrews in May, 2017 when few of my golf buddies and I turned 50. I immediately started looking for a 4 bedroom place all of us could stay (we ended up with 8 people total). I looked at AirBnB and VRBO. While there were quite a few places that ranged in price, this one seemed the best fit for us. It looked modern and comfy at the same time with the amenities we were interested in - (Laundry facilities and a heated cabana for smoking stogies and drinking scotch!) Since we are all golf buddies, we all wanted our own separate beds. The beds in ea room can be joined to make a king or separated into 2 twins. Perfect. The rooms are small but we only slept there so this was no issue for us. It was walking distance from Market St (the street where you will spend time lots of time eating/drinking) and even the Old Course. Iain Lowe was our acting host while we were there and he was as kind, and gracious a host as one could ask for. A true gentleman! He even signed my book (Iain is a prolific photographer and I happened to have one of his books) Our only hiccup was the tankless water heater seemed to turn off after 6 of us showered in the evening. Turns out, there was a shut off timer that Iain forgot to turn off (it turned off at 10 PM). One email, and it was remedied the next morning. All in all, if I ever travel back to St Andrews with 8 people, this is where I'm staying.

Fabulous house, wonderfully furnished and well appointed. We walked everywhere in St Andrews. Great pubs and of course we came for the golf, which was outstanding. Andy was a great host and went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of and he provided a great amount of information and history of St Andrews and the must visit locations in town. This house is located in a quiet Edinburgh neighborhood just a 5 minute walk to shops and places to dine. The house is relatively new and nicely decorated. We stayed as 4 male golfers and it was plenty of room for us. Would highly recommend!

Our party of five stayed here six nights in July. Executive summary -- the best experience I've ever had with HomeAway/VRBO, and my group couldn't have been more pleased. The home itself is lovely, spacious, full of modern conveniences (extending to a well-equipped kitchen), spotlessly clean, and a 15 minute walk (allowing for carrying a golf bag) from the Old Course first tee. Walking a similar distance away from town you'll find an Aldi for groceries, or a Marks & Spencer for take-away prepared foods. A ten minute walk will have you in the area of St. Andrews with the best pubs and restaurants. The photos are accurate and not at all misleading. Bedrooms spacious; beds can be arranged as either two singles or one king-sized. Tastes vary, but I found the bed quite conducive to a good night of sleep. (In fairness, walking 36 holes and sampling a variety of single malts every day were contributing factors.) Bathrooms are the antithesis of what you’d expect in most UK rental homes – large, clean, and easy to figure out for American tourists who often don’t understand why anything in the world is a departure from what they're accustomed to. I agree with an earlier reviewer that the separate golf club storage room was a blessing. Owners/managers of rental homes will often provide a small welcome basket of snacks, perhaps with a bottle of wine -- a nice gesture that is always appreciated. The manager of this property, Andy, has now set the bar impossibly high for competitors. I won't go into detail about how well-stocked with food the kitchen was upon arrival, but everyone in my group was amazed. Andy was easy to contact and flexible in arranging a time to let us in on our arrival day. When we did meet him, he gave us a comprehensive tour of the home and clear instructions. My only suggestion would be to commit a bit more of the information to paper that he conveyed to us on arrival, both to save him the effort of repeating himself and to save his guests the embarrassment of exposing their frequent memory lapses (speaking only for myself here). Andy went beyond the role of property manager in several ways. He was also a convivial host, a tour guide, a concierge, and an all-around great chap. I've mentioned to the owners that – as wonderful a property as it is – the best asset is Andy. If you think this property might suit your needs, don't hesitate to book it. You'll congratulate yourself later on your wise decision.

Eight ladies, best friends, golf buddies for 15 years and finally our dream of a trip to st. Andrews realized! Finding the perfect accommodation is hard at best. When searching for a place to sleep 8 and accommodate the needs for one week, this house met all our expectations, The beds are very comfy and the storage was great. SO, unpack and relax. The kitchen well equipped with even a crock pot ! The internet was speedy. We all were on our iPads every night sharing photos with our families or face timing them. Loved the golf club storage, with heated floors and out of the way. Location: only a short walk to town and 10 minutes to the 18th green of the Old Course. Having great accommodation was one of our concerns with 8 people, but no worries here. Yes, we would stay here again. cheers
