Overall place was well stocked and the view was just gorgeous! My only complaint was I received no check in information until I reached out to property manager who informed me that my contract was never signed. Luckily was able to do this on a layover via cell phone, but it would have been nice to be informed when I made my final payment. The area is just lovely!!!

This is a wonderful home in a quiet neighborhood and a fantastic view! The house has everything you could possibly need. We had a peaceful long weekend here.

Wonderful property with breathtaking views. Our family was able to relax and enjoy the Pacific Northwest with short drives for hiking, kayaking, and overall exploration. Would definitely come back.

This VRBO was an absolutely fabulous place to stay. Great family space both upstairs and down. The deck facing the bay was a wonderful area to sit and talk or read while enjoying the water view and the same view seen from inside. The place was very clean. It seemed they have stocked the kitchen and house with everything one might need for a getaway. State parks with hiking and pebble beach were a short drive away as is a grocery store. I highly recommend this VRBO and would be happy to stay here again if I am in the area.

This house has set a high standard for all other vacation rentals. They had everything that we needed. Plenty of dishes, seating, enough fire pit chairs, towels for everyone and even a great area for the kids to play on the grass. The kids loved the foosball table. The location was great for witnessing low tides and high tides. Lots of instructions were left and we felt we knew what was expected of us.

Older home that has been updated and decorated in very good taste. Very clean with a fantastic view of the Saratoga Passage and Whidbey Island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a lovely home, with a beautiful view. It was well equipped for your every need. Very nice property with a wonderful fire pit to enjoy on those cooler evenings. Property owners were very responsive and accommodating.

Incredible view of water and sunset, very well stocked kitchen from spices, condiments, and pots, dishes, etc. Loads of games, lots of space for all upstairs and down. Extremely COMFORTABLE beds!! Jenn was very quick to respond! Thank you!! We will be back!

We had a truly lovely stay at this beautiful home! We loved the big widows and deck and even saw a grey whale from the property! We really appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was with everything you could need to cook and share a meal - including kids plates and utensils. We also really appreciated the kids toys and books, the baby gate at the top of the stairs and the full blackout blinds in the bedrooms! Anyone who has traveled with a toddler knows that the blackout curtains situation can be make or break for naps, so not having to worry about that was awesome. We walked down the beach every day we were there and generally just found the area very peaceful. It was rainy both days, so we didn't enjoy the yard games, but we would love to return in the summer when we could take good advantage on being outside! Overall, this was a wonderful home and perfect for our needs. Thank you to our hosts!

Beautiful location, great feng shui, perfect layout for our family. And, as we did a lot of cooking, really happy with the very well appointed kitchen.

We wanted to get away for Christmas. Pleasantly surprised to be greater by a lovely Christmas tree. House had plenty of room for us to all gather in front of the TV or by the tree or separate for quiet time alone. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, bakeware and spices condiments. The beach is a short walk away. We didn’t think to check the tide chart so we missed out on a beach walk. I would love to go back.

The house has lots of room for everybody, is well cared for and spotless. We enjoyed getting away for a week and relaxing here.

This home was the perfect set up for our family. Lots of room. Great lawn games. It had everything we needed and more. The view is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed hiking nearby, having drinks out on the deck and following the flights of bald eagles and their fledglings. Quiet neighborhood, stocked kitchen, good beds and lovely views were our highlights. The State Parks nearby give you lots of options for hiking and bird watching. We enjoyed our time and we will come back. Highly recommend

This was such a great home! We so enjoyed the beautiful view, wonderful living areas, and games (including the board games and table tennis). And to say nothing of the view and deck, which was such an inviting place to stop, read, and relax. Thank you so much!!!

We stay on Whidbey a couple times a year and always use VRBO; this was our first time to Camano for a writing retreat for my wife and I. We chose this house for what it had to offer: up away from the water, beautiful western views of the water across to Whidbey, the Olympic Mountains, bald eagles galore, and a telescope to view them. The home was a home, it felt like a family loved this place and wanted others to feel it. My wife usually takes a couple days to settle in, she settled in almost instantly. In thirty minutes we're sitting on the deck and she turned to me and said, "Why do I feel like we've been here a dozen times?" We've stayed in some fabulous homes on Whidbey with crazy upgrades, but we've seriously never had more fun than here. The kitchen is far and away the best cooking kitchen we've ever seen, we always stay and cook because that's what we love to do, and they had EVERYTHING we needed, it was really kind of humorous. The owners love to cook, you recognize this when you begin to prepare your first meal. It was an odd experience leaving because we shared the same thought, "I hope the next guest takes good care of this place too." We walked away and locked the door and felt like we were driving away from a house we forgot we owned and wondered when we'd be back. You instinctively respect the homeowners for allowing you access to this warm and comfortable home and take care of it like your own, or better, as a way of saying 'thank you!' We had actually planned on a week of rain, which would have been just fine with us in this home, but the weather was incredible with rain in the morning and blue sky by noon for the next 8 or 10 hours, so the eagles were showing off for us and we spent hours on the deck. That was a bonus and a blessing! Also, a huge THANK YOU to the Property Manager, Jenn, she was near instant in her communication from beginning to end and everything went off without a hitch, she could not have done better!

Great experience, overall. The house was as described, warm, and comfortable. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and books for kids. And loved the deck and view of the water (and whales twice).

A wonderful local trip while social-distancing. We enjoyed the full facilities, baking, cooking, movie-watching. Nice leisurely walks in the neighborhood and easy hikes at nearby state parks. Gorgeous serene views of Puget Sound and faraway mountain range.

Beautiful views and decks to enjoy even in October. Plenty or room for 6, and kitchen was incredibly well stocked (we ate every meal in).

The house was everything we expected and more! Clean, beautifully decorated, all the kitchen essentials, and a fabulous view of the water. We stayed for a much-needed girls' weekend, and were able to relax on the deck, go for a walk to the beach, and cook all our meals in the fully-stocked kitchen. Communication with the homeowner/manager was easy and I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family.

Wonderful property and amazing view.

This house is in a quiet neighborhood with views of the water from every room. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax for our group of five. Kitchen had everything we needed for making our own meals. We stayed during the Christmas holiday and was pleasantly surprised to find a artificial Christmas tree had been put up. We weren’t expecting that. The house was clean and cozy. We did follow the directions to access the water but at high tide there was only about 100 yards of waterfront. So we hopped in the car and went to the park that is northwest of the house and had a great time. We had brought the majority of our own food since we weren’t sure what was available at local stores and one of us has food allergies. We visited the IGA for a couple of items and we were amazed at the amount of fresh produce, gluten free products, organic and unusual products. The prices were quite reasonable too. At any rate, the ElgerBay house is lovely, nice and quiet and comfortable.
