Great location we just walked out sliding glass doors to beach never even took a room key

It was perfect from start to almost finish. The condo was exactly what we needed but we escaped the island on Tue 8/8/23, the day of devastating fires and lives lost. We hope to be back to this condo and all of its amenities and realize the island needs time to heal and rebuild. Love and prayers to all🙏.

So close to the whalers village, lots of restaurants and shops, super close to the beach, the room has all that you need plus many more amenities. Great communication with the property manager, this room is perfect for kids, being on the lower level gives the kids chance to play and run on the outdoor patio, definitely recommended and we will come back!

Great condo with everything one needs. Love the property, love being close to Whalers Village shops and restaurants. Enjoyed morning coffee on the lanai people watching.

This condo is very accessible because it is on ground level, so it makes it so convenient for everything. With just a short walk you can be in Whaler Village is just a few minutes. The view from the ground floor may not be as good as some of the units higher up, but you have access to the nicely manicured gardens and koi ponds at your backdoor!

We had a great time staying at this property. Being on the floor level is amazing to have easy access to the pool and beach. The condo was well stocked and Jim and Laura are very responsive. We will be back!

Our stay was amazing! The condo is in the perfect location and has everything you need. I don’t think we could have picked a better location on VRBO. The hosts’ communication was prompt. Would stay here again :).

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay!! The unit was well stocked with essentials and was beyond clean and well cared for. The location of the unit is perfect if you don’t like waiting for the elevator and has a beautiful garden and waterfall just outside the patio door. Truly superb in every way!! Thank you!!

This studio space is beautifully updated and comfy! The owners were wonderful to work with and they make sure the studio is stocked with everything and more that you would need!

My family had an amazing time at this condo on Maui. The location was fantastic. Walking straight out to the beach was so convenient for my family. Also, being so close to all the shopping was a huge plus. I can’t think of anything we would change. My kids are already asking when we can go back.

Good location

Laura & Jim’s condo is exactly as described. We stayed two weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Perfect location, I loved the first floor access..quick trip every morning to the lobby for coffee and then enjoy on patio with the waterfall and tweeting birds. Used laundry twice, which is as close as mine at home. Condo clean, well stocked, beach items in condo too. Set right next to Whalers Village, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We watched whales from the pool area several times, even walked down to black rock one day for a swim, and a turtle swam by, absolutely awesome. Even though we had a few days of not-so-great weather, we got in all the activities we had planned. We highly recommend Laura & Jim’s condo, we surely would book it again. Thankyou , Victoria C.

Lovely condo, our 3rd time staying here… it won’t disappoint!!!

This was our first visit to Hawaii and I was so appreciative of the detailed recommendations that the host provided with dining, things-to-do, and where to get groceries. The condo was well appointed for active families and nicely updated. The location was epic. The beach was our favorite and the proximity to the shops and restaurants was so convenient. We were very appreciative we got to experience Maui in this beautiful condo!

A lovely place to spend a week, or a month! Great Location, with lots of Restaurants, and Retail within walking distance. Condo is cozy, but is just perfect for couples. The Whaler is very well maintained, and has friendly and informative staff. The parking in that area can be a problem at times, but there was plenty of parking when we visited. I Did have an issue using the printer at their business center, and the lady at the front desk was not much help, but other than that I would say that everything else was top notch.

Loved the 1st floor location. Easy access to pool, beach and barbecue area.

Fabulous home away from home on Kaanapali Beach ! Laura and Jim are excellent property owners and easy to deal with.! They made me feel special and right at home. The unit is in Immaculate shape. The property has everything one needs for a Maui get-a -way . The kitchen was very well done with all small appliances like a blender for healthy daily smoothies ! The extra touches from the furnishings to the utilities closet boasting snorkel gear, Morey boogie boards and portable beach chairs. The ground floor unit is perfect for the evening an stroll to soking in the whirl pool ! The grounds on the Whaler are very nice . there is a physicist 24hr center and a short cut With private gate to teh Whalers Village next door.. You can get around the island very nicely from this Ka'anapali rental. I like it so much !!! I book two weeks for next year , The good Lord willing and the Creeks don't rise !!! Perfect for couples. 5 minute walk to Whaler's Village shops and restaurants. Very nice beach out front and several nice beaches within 10 minute walk.

Great location Pristine grounds Updated condo

This is the third time we’ve stayed in this unit and it’s the best every time. Perfect location near restaurants and steps to the beach. Updated beautiful unit compared to most others in the building. We love every time we stay here and will be coming back again in the future for visit number 4!

Our condo was PERFECT!! Loved being on the bottom floor close to everything! It was well stocked with everything we needed and then some! Great communication with the owners. We will stay here again!!

The convenience of this condo was amazing! Loved being on 1st floor! Laundry is just around the corner, as are elevators to the underground parking. Condo has everything you need, even laundry pods! Grounds are beautiful! We’ll be back!

The condo is beautiful and the location is prime. Communication is also great

We had an amazing stay at this property. It was clean and well stocked with chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, sand toys, etc. It is located near the main elevators, lobby, and laundry room and it was quick and convenient to get in and out. The lanai is situated so that it faces Whaler building 1 and the grassy koi pond area. We were able to see the ocean/sunset by stepping off of the lanai and looking to the left. My children were enamored with the koi pond. They spent many hours watching the fish and frogs and playing with other children who were doing the same. There is filtered water, tea, coffee, iced tea, and towel service offered in the lobby, which I’d guess takes less than 30 seconds to get to from the condo. The pool is a nice size, warm, and there are plenty of seating options. There isn’t a ‘shallow’ end (shallow area on steps going into pool but that’s it). The underground parking garage is ok—there are shopping carts available to help transport things. We found that if we returned at 7 pm or later, the garage was full. There’s an additional surface lot available on the other side of the lobby which is also ok, it’s just a longer walk to get to the unit as it’s closer to building 1. The beach path that connects everything along the beach is nice for morning walks. We were lucky enough to see a pod of spinner dolphins swim down to the Black Rock area before turning around and passing us again as they headed back south. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to Whalers Village next door. There’s a Starbucks a short distance away at the Westin. We shopped for groceries at Safeway (near Lahaina). We found a lot of nice things at the Ross across the street from there too. My favorite restaurant was Down the Hatch in Lahaina. We spent time at Honolua and Kapalua Bays, which are great snorkeling spots a short drive north. The Napili farmers market had nice fruit and snacks. The hosts were very responsive and communicated well. We highly recommend this condo-very convenient and there’s so much to see and do in the area.

This place was exactly as shown online, and was perfect for our needs. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed a good night sleep after a long day. The pull out sofa for my daughter was also comfortable, so nice job by the owners. In fact, we had a minor issue with the shower handle and I notified the owners who took care of it immediately. The place is a few steps from the beach, pool, restaurants, and shops. There are chairs on the beach to use and towels each day too. I’d recommend this place to others, which was perfect for the 3 of us.

Was beyond happy with the unit and location. Being on the ground floor, near the elevator and laundry was really nice. We’ll definitely be back!

We have stayed at the Whaler 3 times and this is by far our favorite unit! Everything is updated: kitchen, bathroom, art, and bed. I am very picky when it comes to beds and this bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in besides my own! The shower was great--love the seat for helping kids shower! The unit was stocked with everything you'd ever need! So nice to have so much great beach gear! I also really appreciated having the laundry so close to the unit. The best part was being on the bottom floor! We were so close to the pool and beach and didn't have to do any elevators or a lot of walking to get where we needed to go! The owners were responsive, generous and made sure we had everything we needed! This will be the unit we book for our future Maui trips! Thanks so much!
