We had a wonderful stay! This home was the perfect place for our family get away. It is well kept, clean, and full of awesome amenities! Communication with the host couldn't have been any better. He is very friendly, super easy to reach out to, and made sure our stay and all that lead up to our trip was perfect! We will definitely be booking to stay here again, and highly recommend this home to those looking for the perfect home away from home.

We were hoping for a little snow during our trip but the owners and friends in the area told me you may get a little but it usually snows heavily in January. To our surprise there was back to back snow storms, it was beautiful and looked like a hallmark movie, we definitely had a white Christmas so much that we were snowed in for awhile , the home itself was perfect for our family and the arcade was a huge hit. They had plenty of games and cable including Netflix to keep everyone entertained while we were snowed in. We also experienced a fluke power outage which was not fun but that’s Mother Nature for you, the owner (Eric) stayed in contact with us as much as possible during this time but they were also experiencing outages. We definitely made long lasting memories on this trip and look forward to coming back.

Great experience for all ages. The games in the lower level were great entertainment. I was able to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for 11 with no issues. Owners amazing. Highly recommend!!

Sugar Pine cabin is a unique, fun and family orientated property! There is something for everyone and the kids, almost all teenagers, LOVED LOVED LOVED the game room. The cabin is cute, roomy and has so many amenities. We played games around the spacious table and made lasting memories.

The place was perfect for our girls trip. The beds were very comfortable and the place had everything you needed. The private lake was great and walking distance from the cabin. We really enjoyed lunch out on the deck and the use of the grill. The owner was also very communicative from the begging.

Clean, well cared for property with caring property owners. Will stay here again. Master bedroom, best shower head ever!

Great communication from owner. Top quality house and large area for family dinners the bedrooms and the Arcade made this a PERFECT place for our family. The kids spent most of their time playing games and then having a slumber party in the loft. I highly recommend!

We had such a great time at the cabin. I brought my grandkids and was able to make summer memories they won’t forget. The house was clean the beds were comfy and the lake was beautiful. Eric was very responsive and friendly and we plan on booking again for a family reunion next summer. Thank you Eric for letting us enjoy you home!!!!

We had such a great time staying at Sugarpine Cabin. Eric, the property owner, was great from start to finish and always available when we had questions about the cabin and the area. The kids all loved the game room. I booked the cabin with the 4 teenagers in mind, but it was the 3 year olds who couldn't get enough of the video games and air hocky table. The access and proximity to the lake was amazing. We were there every day swimming and fishing. We took the kids to Pinecrest one day thinking the teens would like the busier lake but they all just wanted to get back to the quiet private lake and the cabin. We can't wait to go again, and will stay at Sugarpine Cabin fir sure!

We went with our 6 and 10 year old and had a blast. It started with Eric’s friendly and detailed messages about the logistics of checking in and all aspects of the cabin. We arrived to a clean and welcoming cabin in the woods that we and the kids immediately fell right at home in. As the posting notes, there is a basement arcade including retro video games, an air hockey table and a coin-op claw machine, which for us were the highlight of the place given the delight it brought to the kids. A perfect respite after a day in the snow just a few minutes north by car (in winter of course) or a reward after a day of school or good behavior for the kids. In short, we had an absolute blast here just hanging out. There is a small lake nearby that we walked to...too cold to enjoy when we were there but looks fun when weather is warmer and people are out. Again, throughout, Eric was the most welcoming, coolest and most responsive of hosts throughout. Would definitely come back for a stay (provided you don’t outcompete us)!

Sugar Pine Cabin was perfect!! We enjoyed our stay. The pictures of this cabin really don’t show how roomy it is. We had ten in our group and there was plenty of space for us all to hang out and not feel like we were on top of one another. The cabin was super clean and everything we needed as far as linens and kitchen utensils/gadgets were provided. The game closet was a plus! Games and puzzles galore. And the game room... well, we didn’t see our kids for hours. The adults disappeared down there for quite some time as well. It was all around great!! The cabin is located in a great spot. We took walks, visited the community lake (I imagine it’s super fun in the summer), walked to the Sugar Shack up the road, and talked with some very friendly neighbors. We did take our kids to Leland Snow Park for a day. It was about a 35min drive up 108. It was great!! We hope to be back soon!

This house was so amazing, I've never stayed at anyone's house without the owner being there for a weekend. This house was close to items to do with family. This was so stocked with items we didn't need to bring. Our family had the greatest time doing things together and bonding with one another. We would to stay at this house again.

We had such an amazing time at Sugar Pine Cabin! It had everything our large family needed, an amazing game room and a well stocked closet filled with board games! Not only was it clean and fun, but the location is ideal and it is surrounded with wonderful neighbors! Thank you Eric for allowing us to stay there, allowing us to provide great memories with our kids!

Cabin is perfect for large families! Game room is great ! And the private lake was the Icing on the cake. Will stay again for sure ❤️

We had a group of ten! We felt that it was to small for our group. We had game nights in the main living room and it was tight. Also the game room looks Hugh down stairs but it’s very small. Everything else was great! Our family is going to have to find bigger if all the kids and grand kids come! Thanks

We enjoyed our stay at this fun house. It is big, with lots of beds. Everything we needed was in the house. The owner was responsive and professional. The surrounding woods are nice. Best of all, the game room, with its arcade games and air hockey, was great for our thirteen-year-old. Also, the nearby Alicia's Sugar Shack makes an excellent stop for breakfast on your way out in the morning. I highly recommend going over the Sonora mountain pass on route 108. It is spectacular. Yosemite National Park is kind of a distance, but we drove it on two of our vacation days.

Owners were very accommodating with check in time. Their cabin is very clean and has everything you need. Feels like home.

The cabin was perfect for our extended family trip. The owner went way above & beyond with his excellent communication, tips and service. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to make memories with their families!

So much room to spread out. Game room was a hit probably more so with the adults! Easy access to stores in case you forgot something. The Twain Harte Market has everything a large chain grocery store would have. Nice backyard for exploring with kids. Hiking trails can be found from moderate to easy. Kitchen has everything you need. Good times! Good memories!

Beautiful home. Well taken care of. Beautiful backyard and great scenery. Very spacious and kid friendly. The game room was a hit. Everyone enjoyed. The owners are great and very responsive. They were a big help when it came to taking my family out to the snow. I would definitely stay again.
