The beach is just a few steps from the boardwalk leading to the beach which has a secure, private entrance for the cottage guest only. The cottage is great and well maintained along with the surrounding properties. Once you park your vehicle, there is really no need to drive again. Maybe a 3 minute walk to restaurants and shopping. Very convenient! The view is great but you have to go to the upstairs porch to view the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. The porch has a Hammack but when stretched out, takes up most of the porch space. In my opinion, a swing to sit in would be more relaxing. The staff at Homeowners Collection is awesome! Super helpful and friendly. Always answered our text or phone call promptly. Overall, a very relaxing getaway cottage. Highly recommend using Homeowners Collection for booking a property and we will definitely be coming again!

We would really have liked to have a small washer and drier (maybe put it in the little closet in the bedroom? I run and would liked to have washed things so i could pack less items. And would really suggest a small but full size refrigerator. We just didn't trust the other ones for anything but drinks and that made it hard to cook.

The house was spotless and well maintained. The view was gorgeous and the location was unbeatable. There are just a couple things that would make this place perfect. First..please consider putting in a washer and dryer. It's difficult to stay at the beach longer than a couple days without a washing machine. Second, the refrigerator and freezer are just small drawers inside the cabinets. Very minimal space so there is no way to buy groceries. There is only enough room for a few things. Lastly, the mattress was pretty hard and hard to sleep on. Having said that, I would 100 percent stay again! We loved our stay

We knew being in the winter it wouldn’t be as nice as in the summer... but our first night was miserable. The heater wasn’t working and there was only one thin blanket on the bed. The bedroom being on the first floor to allow gulf views for the living areas has the unfortunate result of allowing what little heat there is to rise up and away from the bedroom at night. Fortunately the rental agency got a service man out asap the next day and the problem was fixed. The moral of this is to be sure to check the heat and a/c as SOON as you arrive to avoid a miserable night! Other than that, it’s a nice little cottage very convenient to all that Seaside offers. I would suggest they add a towel hook outside the shower though!
