The home was perfect for 4 adults and two small children for a five-day stay. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room was spacious. All bedrooms were comfortable. Beach access from the backyard was very handy. It was great staying in an oceanfront character beach house. Thanks to the owners for sharing their home.

We have stayed at Heathersgate many times. We did notice the great increase in price from the past years. We are hoping that this will not price us out of our tradition. The view is spectacular and there is seating for everyone to enjoy the view. House is comfortabke and cozy and has all the amenities we needed. The smoke alarm battery began to chirp in the night but had a quick response the next day with a battery that was replaced

Location of the house was so much good. There was a direct access to the beach. Beach was not crowded may be because the public beach access for further away and people didn’t bother to walk far. Couple of rooms have wonderful view of the beach. I enjoyed staying there and recommend it for others too.

The house has just enough space to hangout together and also room for privacy. The hot tub is small, but so very enjoyable! Sitting outside watching the waves and enjoying the beach air was great. We even used the small fireplace on the patio and the boys roasted dogs and smores. We also bought clams in town and made steamers and garlic bread. The location is perfect. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here with my son and friends and everyone has a great time.

It truly took our breath away and added an extra layer of tranquility to our vacation. The kitchen was also well stocked which was a huge plus. However, there is as a number of quirks about the house. One notable issue was the lack of proper insulation, as cold air frequently seeped through the doors, making certain areas of the house really cold. The doors themselves presented a challenge, often refusing to close or open smoothly.The floors were also very strange, they seemed to be sunken in or raised, particularly in the hallway with the staircase and the living room.Another aspect that detracted from our enjoyment was the single key provided for the entire group. With four couples sharing the space, coordinating who needed the key and when became a logistical headache. It would have been far more convenient to have a keypad entry system, eliminating the need for constant key exchanges and ensuring everyone had easy access to the house.Despite these drawbacks, the beauty of the location and the cherished moments spent overlooking the ocean made our stay memorable.

We have been using A-1 Beach rentals for a minimum of 15years, I’ve lost count.... We did have trouble trying to figure out how the heating works.The hot tub was accidentally unplugged before we got there so we weren’t able to use it right away. Never had tried a Ba Day before....😂We will definitely come back to this house, it is truly a home away from home. My mom was part of this group for many years, we now come down here in her honor as she always loved coming down to the beach and going to the casino, which is so close.Thank you again for a wonderful stay.Cheryl and girls

There are so many amenities in the home. Record player with a great collection of vinyls, books to read, puzzles, foosball, multiple areas to sit and relax watching the view. Note the 5th bedroom is a single twin with an alcove that has a foam mattress in it, great for kids. The upstairs bedrooms are pretty warm even though they have a window to listen to the waves. Lower bedroom window is super close to neighbors deck so at night you hear them. Back bedroom that is the master has no open window option only a door to the courtyard. Lots of doors... you can see how this house could have been smaller cottages added together. Hot tub is SMALL... house fits 10 but hot tub is best at 2, maybe 3. We loved our stay.

The house was a little too hot (no ac or fans in bedrooms) and blue lights were shining into the bedroom at night which made sleeping a little difficult--otherwise an excellent stay with kids.

What we like most about this lovely, unique home is the level of updating they’ve put into it. It’s being improved upon with the love and attention folks usually give to their own home. Fancy mirrors, incredibly stocked kitchen, lovely art…bidets! We will definitely return!

The house was very clean and we enjoyed the upgrades that have been made. Only one thing that wasn't good. The CO2 alarm in the bedroom off the kitchen started beeping after midnight on the last night. Even removing the alarm from the plug-in didn't stop the notification that the unit needed to be replaced. Naturally, several of us did not sleep well at all that night.

The newer pictures and decorations aren’t as beachy as before. The new upscale improvements are wonderful, the bathrooms are very techy for us older women , but never the less are great. The toilet paper could use an upgrade, awfully thin. We hope we can continue to be healthy enough to come for many years. The property was perfect for us, clean, and comfor table, with no problems. The view was amazing. The property house was very comfortable for our family with five grandkids heads up they don’t have a gas barbecue takes charcoal which I went back to and enjoyed ,the hot tub. You’re right it is two person 110 so it loses temperature, but the view is amazing pots and pans are amazing Really enjoyed our stay there. The foosball table was a plus although I got beat by my grandkids. Will definitely stay there again.

Had a great Thanksgiving week. Me, my wife, our daughter, her husband and their two kids. Den and view of beach/ocean were great. Treated to some king tides while we were there. Great to watch from the house and deck. Bedrooms were nice and accommodated us perfectly. Upstairs area was wonderful for the grandchildren. Would definitely recommend the property.

This was a good stay for our group of adults, good views and nice layout for us. Only complaint was lights were almost all low wattage in the living space, which makes it hard to do puzzles at night. One bright lamp would be a great addition!

WITH IT'S PRIVATE STAIRS TO THE SAND AND LARGE PICTURE WINDOWS TO VIEW THE WAVES IT IS A MUST FOR SUNNY OR RAINY DAYS. WE WISH THAT INFLATION WOULD COME DOWN THOUGH SO THAT PRICES WOULD RELAX AND WE CAN CONTINUE TO AFFORD COMING TO THIS LOVELY BEACH RENTAL.

This house had so much to offer for our family getaway! We loved the views, easy access to the beach, the outdoor seating and the hot tub. The house had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable too. We had a great time.

Overall good experience. Did not anticipate a 2 person hot tub. Garbage dumpster was nearly full when we arrived making it difficult to add all trash. Still confused as to why the property owner felt that the property was left "dirty". After a 5 day stay the property will need cleaning. All checkout instructions followed properly.
