Wonderful place! Perfect location for what we wanted. Cutest & super cozy cabins. Highly recommended!!

We stayed for a weekend, and the cabin was clean and well-kept. The hot tub was so nice! We saw deer and the stars were bright and beautiful in this quiet area. Communication was easy with the owners. Just to know though- the road up the mountain to it is very narrow and steep.

My husband and I both enjoyed our stay here. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We loved that we felt remote but were just a few minutes from a main road. We had everything we needed. Cabin was clean. The bed was comfortable and adjustable. Overall a great experience!

Host was reachable via text which was nice. Property is well maintained and jacuzzi is large. Address allows for easy navigation to property via GPS.

The drive to the cabin was a little tricky. Signs said Private Property and Private Road/Dead End...just keep going! Was nervous I was going to end up on a property I was not supposed to be on. Drive slow, it's only one lane with a few wide spots. I sadly didn't make it into the hot tub, but it definitely looked inviting. It was just a bit cold outside. The cabin was very clean! Only used the bed on the main floor. The bed is a tempur-pedic with massage! Very comfortable! The water in the shower was nice and hot! The kitchen had everything I needed to cook with.(Silverware, pots and pans, utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, salt and pepper, and a few spices.) Just bring food and condiments. The kitchen table set up was very cute! The owners have some check in's and check out requests, very easy to follow directions! The owners were easily reachable if/when anything was needed. Very quiet and peaceful cabin! It is a great cabin to stay at and I am looking forward to another visit soon!

Nice, private cabin just outside the city. Super helpful hosts. My son lost his wallet in the cabin. Messaged the owners, they found it & mailed it back to him! Amazing….Kids loved the hot tub & the loft bedroom. Definitely would stay again for our next Asheville trip!

Hugh and Sharon do a great job of showing the amenities in the listing, but here are a couple things you won't know until you get there: *It's nice and warm, no draft to speak of *There's no 'echoiness' common in smaller cabins *With the candles included and the fireplace, every night was romantic *The bed is very comfortable Great stay, we really enjoyed a chance to get out of the house and this was just what we needed!

A little mishap with the property being cleaned when we got there, but Hugh jumped on it and had the housekeepers there within 30 minutes of our arrival. He also compensated us for the misunderstanding. Overall the cabin was exactly what we needed! We'd definitely go back.

Great place and more modern amemities and updates. No musty canin smell. Very homey. Private getaway. Accessible to grocery, Sierra Nevada, airport, breweries, hiking, Biltmore...you name it.

From the second we drove up the long driveway and saw a little family of deer scampering through the leaves, we knew we would love the cabin. The changing leaves and the stillness of the forest were absolutely enchanting. The moment we walked inside, it felt like home away from home. The cabin was clean, the furniture and beds were comfortable, the decor was cute and welcoming, and the guest instructions and wifi information were readily accessible. The hot tub was easy to use and in good repair, and the linens were clean and easy to find. A special note that it was obvious that the cabin had been cleaned thoroughly and recently. There was absolutely no debris, crumbs, leaves etc on the floor, which is so hard to achieve with hardwood floors, and the sheets smelled so fresh it was like they had been washed earlier that day. The water in the showers does run quite hot, so just beware of that, as well as the fact that the staircase is a little narrow so use care when ascending and descending it. It leads to an adorable loft area upstairs. The cabin is about 20 minutes outside of Asheville, which has a lot of fun things to do and a lot of great places to eat. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends without reservation.

Very quiet and peaceful stay in the mountains as what was advertised! The cabin was extremely clean and very cozy! We wish we could have had a better view of the mountains. Our overall stay was very nice!

We absolutely love this cabin. It was the perfect place to get away in the mountains but with new appliances, conveniences, along with being clean and beautifully decorated. We can't wait to come back! It was a blast!

This was a great location for hiking in Pisgah or DuPont. The NC Arboretum is only 20 minutes away too! The cabin has everything you could want, including a nice hot tub and two decks. We were visited by the deer almost every day, and once a bunch of wild turkeys. We would stay here again!

My wife and daughter came to Asheville for a fibers festival. I enjoyed the artists studios then we would return to a comfortable evening in the cabin to share our experiences refreshed for the next day.

This cabin is very nice. Quiet and secluded. Property owners were very responsive to all inquiries. Would highly recommend.

Had a great time there. Very private and not far from Asheville. My wife is already wanting to go back, even if I'm not there haha. So that says a lot!!!

Cozy and quiet

This property was perfect for us. It's really in the woods even though it's just a short drive to everything you need in Mills River. We used both the hot tub and the fire pit. The firepit dish needs to be changed out to the newer one there though. The bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. This was a great base to explore the area from and the weather was beautiful for us.

We found this to be exactly what we wanted (and needed). We did absolutely nothing but watch deer, listen to the quiet and enjoy each others company. Very relaxing week, which is just what we were looking for. The cabin was very nice and comfortable. We stopped in town for groceries on day 1 and had everything we needed for the week. Would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting some peace and quiet.

Hugh was very open on an amenity not working prior to our arrival and tried his best to get it back but wasn’t able to make work. He was gracious to provide incentives in return. Location is great to jump into Asheville or down to Pisgah with a lot of attractions in between. Would definitely return and stay again!

Private wooded location and in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Nice, cozy, clean log cabin, clean and fully furnished with everything we could've needed. Comfortable temperpedic adjustable and vibrating massage bed. Good matresses in loft beds, too. Deck with big hot tub, covered porch, gas grill, blender, k cup and drip coffee cone filter coffee maker, washer/dryer. 4k smart tv's, wifi, library of dvd's and pamphlets/info. for all local activities, board games and puzzels. 15 min's Pisgah National Forest entrance. 15 min's to Brevard (my new favorite mountain town). 20 min's to Asheville and Biltmore. Lots of cool Breweries and restraunts with in 10- 20 min's drive. Chimney Rock and Green River Gorge whitwater kaying were about 45 min's away. Pisgah Nat. Forest has as much to see as Smokey Mnt. Park but without over the top commerical tourism of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved our stay.

A lovely cabin in serene location. We thoroughly enjoyed the area. The cabin was as described, spotless and many thoughtful amenities. Check in was very easy and had ample parking. The road to the cabin was easy to navigate - drive slow! We wanted a cabin that was secluded but close enough to things to do. We are golfers and enjoyed golfing at Chestnut Mountain and Etowah Golf Resort, which are nearby. Several fun breweries within a short distance. We tried them all! Day trip to Hendersonville if you want to shop and explore the town. Overall, a lovely vacation. This cabin was the perfect choice for our 10 year wedding anniversary trip. We would definitely book again. Owners are friendly and responsive.

If you are looking for a peaceful mountain retreat, this is the place. My husband and I love this location. The cabin comes equipped with everything needed for a getaway. Grab some groceries and you are set. The area has some of the best hiking trails with so much to see. We enjoyed coming back and having a hot tub to soak in and sit around and enjoy an evening fire. This is a great cabin and look forward to coming back in the future for our 3rd time.!!

Lots of privacy. This property feels as if you have a mountain to your self while being only minutes away from downtown Brevard NC. And all of the water falls and many attractions are easily accessible to this home. I will definitely call about this cabin again.
