We love coming to Summersaltz. Perfect location, accommodations, amenities. Love the new porch!

We were already excited by seeing the property online but the property definitely EXCEEDED out expectations! So much to do on site, close to so many things, super clean, fully stocked and perfectly original.

Great place, you will not be disappointed. We came back a second time, that should say enough.

This house was perfect for our family of 9. The owners are terrific, the location was beautiful, plenty of room to hang out together. We will definitely be back.

We loved being able to hang outside rain or shine with the awesome under deck space. Walking to the beach was so easy and it was great playing on the river. Several restaurants in walking/kayaking distance. Fun for the whole family!

We felt like the owners just invited us in! What's theirs was ours. What an amazing, fun place. The downstairs bar/grilling space, boardwalks, hammocks, dock and beautiful riverfront was perfect for my husband's week-long birthday celebration. Past visitors left messages on the bar posts. The outside bathroom has a urinal made from a keg. It goes on and on. Would love to meet our hosts, the special family who built this vacation home. Really guys, you have to see Summer Saltz!

Good location near the Flora-Bama. Nice new dock. Accommodations were spacious and clean. A fun place!

We love this little cottage by the sea. @summersaltz is a one of a kind place. Cozy, with all the amenities of home. Your own private dock to go canoeing and crabbing. Great spot and walking distance to the FloraBama! Can't wait to book and stay again! Thank you!!

We got to see dolphins swim threw, everything we needed was close by. It was the perfect location for a family getaway.

This was our 2nd visit to the property! It’s perfect for our large family ! Lots of room and plenty of entertainment right there at the house! The teens entertained themselves with kayaking while the adults enjoying outdoor kitchen area!

We loved this rental. The location was perfect. You can relax on the wharf and watch the boats pass on Old River. We brought out boat and it is an excellent central location to boat around the bays near orange beach. Kitchen is fully stocked and the washer and dryers are very nice. We will definitely rent again.

When I was looking for a place to rent, the one thing which caught my attention was that we were able to tie our boat up to the dock which was on the property. We had to put the boat in and out in a different area which wasnt a problem at all. This saved us money from having to find a place to rent for the storage of the boat while We were here. We stayed out back most of the trip and only went to swim at the beach once. Everything we need was here. The kids loved playing in the river. We enjoyed our on private area away from everyone, yet, we were close to Everythingthing. All you need to pack your clothes and personal items. This places has it all. The owner Grant, is so professional, easy to communicate with and returns all emails, phone calls, and text messages. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful family vacation! No reason to ever leave the property! We had 3 generations from different parts of the country and everyone loved it! We will be back for sure!!

Summer Saltz is our favorite vacation spot every year. It’s an annual vacation for my family and friends and we look forward to coming back. Thanks Grant for everything.

We look forward to the green beach house every year and this year didn’t disappoint. This isolation vacation was just what we needed after being stuck in the house for the last 10 weeks. Perfect change of scenery. The house is always fully stocked with everything you can need for vacation, just bring your groceries and you are set! Thank you for letting us stay!

This place is such a great find I would be selfish not to share it. After COVID cancelled our son’s senior year and graduation, we were looking for something for all of our interests. The adults were looking to relax with a change of scenery, where two 18yos and two 16yos could make memories and not be bored. You will find that here and more. I have rented from VRBO, and other condos many times, and have yet to find one as well appointed and stocked with everything you need. If you don’t have a great time here, then you probably aren’t going to have one anywhere. Other renters have mentioned bugs and mice. I lived on a beach for 10 years...educating yourself on the local wildlife will do you well before you travel to ANY beach. For example: -Beach mice live all over EVERY coast, they are cute and not interested in you at all. They scurry around the yard area and can be entertaining. (Do not leave any food out!) -Bugs ... coastal areas have huge bugs that look like flying cockroaches, some can be rather large. We called them Palmetto bugs when I lived in SC, don’t know the name of them in FL. Whilst they are gross, this is NOT a sign of uncleanliness, just part of beach life. The owner was super easy to work with, answered questions quickly and had everything ready upon arrival. We definitely plan to return to this home if it’s ever available! Thank you Grant!

Beautiful home with an amazing outdoors space. We were only in the house to sleep. We spent all our time outdoors on the deck and in the water. We are already planning our next trip to this wonderful little green Gem.

We enjoyed our stay at Summer Saltz. Peaceful and relaxing. Boat dock was a big hit for fishing, catfish, stingray and pompano. Plenty of parking. The upper deck needs some new boards. would stay here again.

The property is close to everything and has everything you need to enjoy a fun vacation! However, there were some issues with the cleanliness during our stay. There were dead bugs behind the doors and under the beds looked like they had not been swept under in ages. The kitchen fridge was not cleaned prior to our arrival. I found a used condom in our bedding during our 2nd day stay. I’m thankful I’m the one that found it and not one of our children! I wrote the owner an email after returning back from vacation to let him know we were unsatisfied with the cleanliness. We had paid a cleaning fee for a clean house to stay in, that wasn’t clean at all. The owner replied he would gladly refund us our cleaning fee. However, no refund has been received & there has been no communication from him since he offered us a refund. I’d look elsewhere if your looking for a clean place to bring your family for a vacation.

The Summer Saltz house was perfect for what we were looking for.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great location. Rooms were comfortable, plenty of linens, towels, etc. Kitchen well stocked and the outdoor cooking area was great but could use a little 'spring cleaning'. Kayak paddles do need repair.

By far our best vacation yet. We’ve stayed at Summersaltz before and will continue to book it every time. We only live about 40 minutes away and enjoy being able to vacation where we live. We fished every night off the dock and caught quite a bit of fish including a blowfish, stingray, and a few blue crabs. The house has everything you need there is really no need to pack beach equipment. We made it out to the outlets, Waterville, and OWA a few days and they are only about 25 minutes from the house. We walked to the florabama for bushwackers and oysters. The house is the perfect getaway without spending hours in the car. My kids said they had more fun at the green beach house than Disney.
