Thank you for an amazing stay! We had a lovely weekend at the lake. The kayaks were so much fun, especially the pedal fishing kayak! We had fun fishing, cooking, relaxing around the campfire, and playing games. The home was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed for a great stay. We made use of the pickle ball courts, which was a blast. Communication prior to the trip gave us everything we needed. Quite frankly, I’ve stayed in many VRBO‘s, and this one was by far the most generously outfitted. There were kayaks, lifejackets, board games, all the household items we needed, a wonderful gas grill, a lovely fire pit, plenty of firewood, a nice dock and anything else we needed. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

We had an amazingly stay at the house. The pictures do not do the home justice definitely better in person. The home was very clean had everything we needed, including pots and pans and trash bags. The kids enjoyed the kayaks very much they even had wood for the bonfire would definitely come again.

This is defiantly our favorite Innsbrook lake home. Scrolling through listings I Always come back to this beauty. It’s rustic yet modern. It has all the amenities you could ask for and the owners definitely think of everything. The view from inside and from the deck is breathtaking. The sandy beach is a HUGE plus as it gives you the feeling of being at the beach with direct lake access. Great for elders and littles stepping in with no big rocks and no jumping directly off the docks. Amazing rafts, paddle board, kayaks, and party raft were definitely appreciated and used as well. Don’t forget to play the numerous board games and pingpong inside or relax and watch the smart Tv as a family. Adorable fireplace inside that we have yet to use but the pit outside has had its fair share of marshmallows roasted by us. If you are looking for a few days, weeks, or months away this is your place! Emily has been an amazing host and we will definitely be back soon! Thank you!

Grendel Chalet
We’ve stayed at several places within Innsbrook and this one is our favorite. Grendel Lake is so clear. We loved the little beach, dock and fire pit area. Outside of daily visits to the pool there was no reason to leave this spot. Playing in the sand, swimming, fishing, kayaking and roasting marshmallows are all just outside your door! ⛱☀️🛶🎣🔥

We have rented a couple of homes at Innsbrook and this is by far my favorite. The Chalet was very well taken care of and clean. There were 4 adults and 4 kids under 10. They loved the bunk bed room and ping pong in the loft area. The dock was perfect for fishing, the kids loved playing in the small sandy beach, we made a fire for s'mores. I was all perfect. We will definitely be back again.

Favorite rental so far!

Amazing get away
We enjoyed our stay and will absolutely stay here again. The kayaks, fire pit and amenities were terrific. It’s a bit of a drive from the main gate but the payoff is the private lake. You’ll love this place!

This property is wonderful and the location is perfect. The lake is amazing to swim in and relax at. The house and yard and beautiful and filled with nature. Very relaxing place

Perfect family getaway
We took our boys (3&6) and it was such an easy, great getaway. The outdoor area was amazing and easy for the small kiddos to play and fish. The kayaks were so fun! The inside had lots of games for all ages but the weather was so great we just enjoyed all the outdoor activities.

Great Property for all to enjoy! The property was clean and comfortable. The grass, level lot and distance to the water was fantastic. We stay at Innsrook several times a year, this property is a favorite of ours now! We will be back! Great for families or even a couples get away. Peaceful and beautiful view. Had something for everyone to enjoy. The sandy beach was great for relaxing under the shade. The kids had a blast indoors and out. (11 year old boys who did not want to leave) Thank you for providing a great vacation spot to enjoy so close to St. Louis!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The set up and lake size was perfect for kids to paddle board and kayak safely. Very nice fire pit, patio furniture and grill also.

Lovely getaway
We had a great stay at this beautiful chalet in Innsbrook! Kitchen is well stocked and property is spacious and comfortable. Owners were extremely responsive, and took the time and care to reach out to us after severe storms that knocked out the power for several hours and took down many trees. We would love to rent again.

Sibling reunion and celebration
My siblings and I all grew up in St. Louis but now live out of town. We came together this weekend to celebrate our mom’s life. This house and property were perfect. We’d highly recommend. Emily and team were excellent to work with.

Had a great getaway property was very accurately described on Vrbo first family outing since we lost our oldest son in 2019 and we believe the house & property had a lot to do with the family having such a good time. We all felt extremely “at home” didn’t feel like a rental at all it’s appointed almost exactly like we would have it if we owned it! Thank you so much - we are already working on going back in August if it’s available. If this property ever comes up on the market call us first! We liked our stay that much!

This was our second trip to Innsbrook, and our first staying at this property. We will absolutely be booking this property in the future! Everything was phenomenal! We couldn’t believe how clean and welcoming all was when we checked in. The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed for the week from the kitchen to the outdoor fun areas. Wonderful Spring Break!
This was our second trip to Innsbrook, and our first staying at this property. We will absolutely be booking this property in the future! Everything was phenomenal!

Sweet Relief for the Holiday
We rented Bill and Tim's cozy chalet for Christmas since we couldn't visit my parents and family as usual this year due to the pandemic. Lots of fires, cooking and hiking did provide some salve to the hurt of missing family and friends this past year. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Fall Getaway
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The chalet is just as represented in the photos—a warm, welcoming retreat. From roasting S’mores around the fire pit, to kayaking on the lake, and playing marathon ping pong matches in the loft, this long weekend away is not one we’ll soon forget. Perfect get away weekend.
This is a perfect place for a family to enjoy a relaxing weekend with lots of opportunity for outdoor activity, and if the weather turns bad indoor games and a ping pong tournament are just the thing. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time kayaking, fishing, looking for minnows and other outdoor critters. We had some great hikes. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. Also, given heightened awareness of cleanliness right now, we felt comfortable that this home is appropriately maintained.

Fall Getaway
We had a great fall getaway. Housed four adults, three kids with beds to spare. The lakeside set up was PERFECT for our young kids to fish, kayak, wade, and dig. We found a beautiful hiking trail within walking distance. We didn’t even mind the rainy afternoon as we were all cozy inside playing many of the provided board games. Bill was quick to respond to messages and very accommodating. Look forward to returning some day!

Great stay
We had a great stay at this property with our 2 young children. The views of the lake from the house are beautiful. We enjoyed the kayaks, and the kids loved playing on the small sand beach. Perfect getaway in the covid era.
