We have rented a couple of homes at Innsbrook and this is by far my favorite. The Chalet was very well taken care of and clean. There were 4 adults and 4 kids under 10. They loved the bunk bed room and ping pong in the loft area. The dock was perfect for fishing, the kids loved playing in the small sandy beach, we made a fire for s'mores. I was all perfect. We will definitely be back again.

We enjoyed our stay and will absolutely stay here again. The kayaks, fire pit and amenities were terrific. It’s a bit of a drive from the main gate but the payoff is the private lake. You’ll love this place!

We took our boys (3&6) and it was such an easy, great getaway. The outdoor area was amazing and easy for the small kiddos to play and fish. The kayaks were so fun! The inside had lots of games for all ages but the weather was so great we just enjoyed all the outdoor activities.

Great Property for all to enjoy! The property was clean and comfortable. The grass, level lot and distance to the water was fantastic. We stay at Innsrook several times a year, this property is a favorite of ours now! We will be back! Great for families or even a couples get away. Peaceful and beautiful view. Had something for everyone to enjoy. The sandy beach was great for relaxing under the shade. The kids had a blast indoors and out. (11 year old boys who did not want to leave) Thank you for providing a great vacation spot to enjoy so close to St. Louis!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The set up and lake size was perfect for kids to paddle board and kayak safely. Very nice fire pit, patio furniture and grill also.

We had a great stay at this beautiful chalet in Innsbrook! Kitchen is well stocked and property is spacious and comfortable. Owners were extremely responsive, and took the time and care to reach out to us after severe storms that knocked out the power for several hours and took down many trees. We would love to rent again.

The property was exactly as listed. Gorgeous secluded location right on the water. The house had everything you would need for the most part. Bill and Emily were quick to respond and help with pool reservations. Innsbrook had some great family happenings including unicorn rides at the stables and live music on the lawn. Overall the family had a wonderful trip. Thank you for the hospitality!

My siblings and I all grew up in St. Louis but now live out of town. We came together this weekend to celebrate our mom’s life. This house and property were perfect. We’d highly recommend. Emily and team were excellent to work with.

Had a great getaway property was very accurately described on Vrbo first family outing since we lost our oldest son in 2019 and we believe the house & property had a lot to do with the family having such a good time. We all felt extremely “at home” didn’t feel like a rental at all it’s appointed almost exactly like we would have it if we owned it! Thank you so much - we are already working on going back in August if it’s available. If this property ever comes up on the market call us first! We liked our stay that much!

We rented Bill and Tim's cozy chalet for Christmas since we couldn't visit my parents and family as usual this year due to the pandemic. Lots of fires, cooking and hiking did provide some salve to the hurt of missing family and friends this past year. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The chalet is just as represented in the photos—a warm, welcoming retreat. From roasting S’mores around the fire pit, to kayaking on the lake, and playing marathon ping pong matches in the loft, this long weekend away is not one we’ll soon forget. This is a perfect place for a family to enjoy a relaxing weekend with lots of opportunity for outdoor activity, and if the weather turns bad indoor games and a ping pong tournament are just the thing. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time kayaking, fishing, looking for minnows and other outdoor critters. We had some great hikes. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. Also, given heightened awareness of cleanliness right now, we felt comfortable that this home is appropriately maintained.

We had a great fall getaway. Housed four adults, three kids with beds to spare. The lakeside set up was PERFECT for our young kids to fish, kayak, wade, and dig. We found a beautiful hiking trail within walking distance. We didn’t even mind the rainy afternoon as we were all cozy inside playing many of the provided board games. Bill was quick to respond to messages and very accommodating. Look forward to returning some day!

Loved this Chalet. Bill was very responsive and answered my million questions which I appreciate so much. My middle son has learned he’s a born to be ping pong champion so I guess we will be looking into our own table now too. My daughter especially loved swinging in the rope chairs reading. The beds were extremely comfortable and the home had everything we needed. So nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit as I like to clean the clothes after the water activities. The kids loved waking up and running down to the “beach” to swim. Kind of like going to a beach yet we didn’t have to drive 16 hours to get there or fly anywhere during the covid outbreak. My oldest and his girlfriend loved taking the kayaks out for rows. Sitting on the dock at night looking up at the fabulous night sky looking for shooting stars was my highlight. It was a much needed break to get away from the craziness of life and to not always be on devices. It really is a beautiful location and I’ll highly recommend it to our friends. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks so much!

My parents, my husband, and my two boys (14 and 11) had a great week at this house. It's even better than the pictures. Very comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. The owners were VERY quick to respond to all my messages and made sure we were happy. Highlights of this house-- perfect set up for the 6 of us, lots of floats, rafts, and kayaks, Ping pong table was alot of fun, we were able to log in to our Hulu and Netflix, the board games they have available were alot of fun, the couch is really comfortable and all size of us fit easily to watch a movie, the firepit area is very nice with lots of wood, we saw tons of deer and bunnies on our walks. My only suggestion to make it even better would be to have some chaise lounges outside so we could really relax. Nothing better than taking a nap by the lake, but the adirondack chairs aren't comfortable enough for that. Thanks for a great time. We made wonderful memories!

We had such a great weekend at Innsbrook! The chalet was so clean, well stocked and great for multiple people! All the beds we so compfy, big couches and tables to hang out and the lake amenities were so fun. Sand bar was a nice entry for kayaks and floats. The lake is very well maintained. Such a fun and relaxing chalet! Highly recommend!!!!! Property manager were also so easy to work with. Can’t wait to return.

There are so many amazing things to say about this property and its management. First of all, we were forced to look at another vacation spot, due to Covid. We ran across the chalet and booked immediately! And it was well worth it. Incredibly relaxing, very remote, very clean, just a wonderful experience overall! A few things I would want to know if I were reading these reviews, as a mom: *The ping pong table, pickle ball, puzzles, boardgames, fishing, and small beach, were the very very best for kids. We brought a bunch of toys from home, but there really wasn’t a need! This house is well stocked for families! *The beach area is magnificent. We have been to another house in InnsBrook, and the kids had to wear water shoes and the water was really murky. It is obvious that the owner purposely created a beach here, and it allowed the kids to walk well past their shoulders in clear water. We spent so much time there! *The walk from the deck down to the shore is very short. It appears long in the photographs, but it’s only about twenty feet or so. It is so nice to have grass outside the deck. As well as the cement pavers, everything was meticulous and very safe! *The dock for a fishing and the beach, our both shaded at various parts of the day. We were able to swim on the small beach till almost noon in complete shade, and then the afternoon and evening were shaded by the tree for fishing. It was perfect! *The quality of the deck in the fishing dock where amazing. No splinters or rough wood! *Multiple life jackets for kids and adults are included, as well as amazing kayaks and floaters. * The mattresses are exceptional. The bunkbeds were amazing and very sturdy for young kids. The accommodations on our trip changed a little bit, and Bill was incredibly gracious in helping us navigate through it. This property was our favorite so far that we have stayed at InnsBrook, The view from the back deck it makes you feel like you have the lake all to yourself. And at night, the lights lighting up the house are just magnificent! We will return, for sure. Our kids cried when we left! It was the most relaxing vacation spot we have ever stayed in, and we highly recommend it!
