Our weekend stay here was quiet, lovely and fun, despite a strong electrical storm on the last night. The house is nicely decorated, well designed and comfortable, with plenty of seating for large family groups and a well appointed kitchen. Mountaintop views! Very enjoyable!

This was a really nice place to stay. Loved all the decks.

It was everything we were expecting and more. The pictures in the ad are accurate but can’t convey the welcoming, homey feel of this property. Instructions and details of entry and leaving were clear and helpful. All of us really enjoyed our visit in this beautiful home.

House was spacious and well equipped for our family wedding weekend. Great communication with the owner on anything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We were about 10 min from the Vinyard at High Holly for our son's wedding. About 20 min to Main St Highlands.

It was a lovely place. We highly recommend it!

Donna was amazing with her communication. The property was walking distance to Rabun Bald trailhead and short drive to Highlands and Dillard. The property was spotless and had everything we needed. We will definitely go back!

The property was lovely and well maintained. I spoke or texted with the owner several times because we had a slight mix-up on the access code, but once it was resolved, all was smooth sailing. She was kind and understanding and concerned that we should enjoy ourselves to the fullest. We made a few picky, incidental suggestions and she said that she thought they were good ones and would follow through with them for the improvement of the property, but we found nothing major to complain about. The stairs might be a bit hazardous, but they are well lit and the light switches are all clearly marked, so I don't think one should have too much trouble with them -- just be alert. It's not easy to find a place with en-suite baths for each bedroom and that is the plus that we were looking for. The bathrooms are not huge, but they are adequate and each of the bedrooms are very nice. It was hard to choose which one to take -- I was the first to arrive, so I got first choice and it wasn't an easy one to make! The kitchen was obviously first rate and we were very pleased with all the meals we were able to prepare and enjoy in the lovely dinning room.

Wonderful property nestled deep in the woods. Donna went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Property was among the most well stocked as far as cooking supplies and all the necessary items. Donna provided detailed directions, take them seriously or you will be lost as GPS doesn’t bring you to the correct spot. We arrived late and Donna was kind enough to stay on the line with us and guide us to the correct spot. Perhaps the listing can include coordinates from the actual property location so guests can just pop that into navigation using GPS as the roads and backroads are very dark, more so as we visited on a foggy and wet weekend. We LOVED that the house had white noise machines in every room, the kids loved the mini basketball goal in the garage and the entire home seems to have a fancy water filteration system. None of these were advertised but very much appreciated. We will be back for sure! PJ

Needing a change from the beach, this was a fabulous family vacation. The Daughtry's home was warm, inviting, spacious, and perfect for our family of 6. The 26-30 year-olds had a ball ziplining and hiking to Muddy Falls waterfall. An afternoon in Highlands checking out the shops, followed by dinner at On the Veranda. Last full day was in the antique, thrift and flea-markets of Clayton and Dillard. Many meals at the house, including charcoaling steaks one evening. We ran out of time for everything on our list, but we'll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was just as presented in the VRBO ad. It was close to fun activities for the kids and the host was very accommodating and had excellent communication.

We had a great time with our family enjoying the nearby attractions. The house was perfect for our three families to enjoy.

Kitchen, towels, sheets, pillows...everything was well stocked. Lovely... enough space for everyone... large pots-(I brought some - didn't need them), nice area to take trash. Drive is tricky- we had 5 vehicles in there at one time, but can turn a suburban around with a little patience. its a beautiful home, and clean! 2 washers and dryers... loved it!!!
