There were 4 kayaks but one had a leak which made it challenging on the water! The kitchen was very well equipped with almost any utensil or small appliance you could need. The bedroom furniture and bedding was dated but clean. There were lots of seating areas indoor and out. The only downsides were the air conditioning just couldn’t keep up with the heat while we were there. The management did send out two different repairmen but it didn’t really help. It was very warm in the upstairs living area —glad we brought a box fan! That is the other downside—the primary living space was upstairs, so everything had to be carried up a flight of stairs to put in the refrigerator, etc. But overall we would recommend and come back!

We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and had just the best time! The different levels of patio decks were so picturesque and enjoyable. The huge shade trees and covered bottom deck made sitting out and watching the family and tubers float by so pleasurable!We did purchase a leaf blower to clean off all the decks and railings or you would be tracking a lot in the house. Loads of chairs and tables outside also. Speakers up on the highest deck level and down by the river were fun to have. We had planned to go tubing but never had to leave the house. We floated and kayaked up and down our section of the river. The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of cooking utensils and gadgets and pans! Open concept to the living room with plenty of island and table seating. Lots counter space for multiple cooks! The upstairs bedrooms were nicely comfy and decorated. The downstairs needs just a little bit of updating.

The listing was very accurate. Two families with 5 kids total, traveled from Missouri to stay at this property. Kids loved the house being right on the river. They used the kayaks every day and fished from the dock. Nice thing is that due to all the outdoor space, kids would hang in one area, and adults could relax and enjoy themselves in another. Only negative remark would be distance from New Braunfels itself. Takes 30 mins to drive to town, but other than that no issues what so ever. We would stay at this location again.

Less than a mile from a tube rental and river put in spot, 12 minutes from the Amphitheater and literally right on the water!!! We enjoyed both decks, the kayaks and there was plenty of yard space for kornhole. Would definitely recommend this house!

The upstairs is rennovated and very nice to accommodate 10 people. Downstairs and the outside area is outdated, but not unexpected for a river house. The house and grounds could use some general maintenance. Loved the decks, size of the property, and river access.

The only complaint my friends had was that the lower bedrooms need to update their mattresses as they are springy and hard and not very comfortable. We spent 4 days over the Thanksgiving holiday with our 3 grown kids and their families very comfortably. The home is very well equipped to include cookware and bakeware as well as 2 play pens which came in handy with 2 toddlers. The 2 level home and the 2 outdoor patios were amazing especially to enjoy morning coffee and evening adult beverages. I am so glad that we did bring a box of black trash bags which we definitely used as well as extra tp and paper towels, could’ve use more of the dishwashing tablets, only a few provided. The home is equipped with an outdoor stereo system which was thoroughly enjoyed the 1st night but then was not operative remainder of our stay. The yard was amazing and the kids loved being outdoors. Would highly recommend and we will definitely use again.
